Pretty run down. Permanently Non functional restaurant. Hot tub was advertised. This feature is present only in one room in the property. Come at a higher price and higher deposit. Hence, very disappointing. We ended up not taking the facility.

No access to laundry room

Cooling off in a pool after a hot July day was my deciding factor when I was booking this hotel. Once we came, we were told that the pool is closed. It was never opened this season and there wedre no intentions to do so. The hotel is old, smelly and dark. Everything closed. Gym closed. The place where the restaurant used to be is full of old appliances and furniture. Half the outlets in our room were out of order. Not to mention I was stung in a face by an angry wasp in their backyard.

Avoid staying here at all cost. The place is VERY old, and upkeep has not been a priority. The pool still had the winter cover, and it was 90 plus degrees for the last few weeks. The room was clean, but the AC didn't work (90 plus degrees, remember?) The breakfast was not up to food handlers' specs- the fridge was broken and registering 57 degrees. No wonder the gallon of milk was spoiled! There was also a large container of butter and sour cream in the fridge, no individual containers to prevent cross contamination. The front desk person was in charge of the breakfast service as well as reception. Should have known when I pulled in and the bar attached to the front of the facility was named the "Dive Bar." And the room rate was NOT low budget at $129 per night!

I didn't find anyone at the front desk, I trained someone to check in about 15 minutes. to no avail, then I found the phone number of the hotel and only managed to ask the Lord from the front desk. it all took over 20 minutes terrible. Then twice in the night the hotel phone rang waking us all up, when I picked up the phone there was a dead signal. The door to the room was very hard to close. The only positive thing about this hotel is the amazing BAR 80' with very nice staff

No laundry access

Not the best hotel they need to upgrade there tubs and no pool inside need to do that was very upset that there was no hot tub or a place to relax with my husband besides the room

We got to the hotel after driving 11 hours. We booked this hotel because it said there was a restaurant and bar at the hotel, when I asked what time the restaurant was serving till he told me the restaurant closed two years ago and there was no pool as advertised. My expectations went to a one star on the entire experience.

Do not be fooled by the photos online. This place is run down and dirty. Our bath towels were stained, the sheets were dirty, the floor was dirty. "Breakfast included"- not worth it. Pool is outside. Go somewhere else.

Hallway carpet was soaking wet, smelled awful, stairs in poor condition, room floor coming up, toilet paper holder broken, white stains on the red bed logo banner and the entire floor was sticky.

Left when we got there due to false advertising and room and place was smelly,dirty,dark Staff was Rude now can't get refund

My partner & I stayed for one night. It was a harrowing experience. Upon arrival the receptionist was very sweet and helpful, but said my room number aloud. Then, booking through Expedia, they claim that their checkout time is incorrect on other sites but were still sure to charge $10/extra hour after 11. This would be admissible if this was the only issue. The property itself was absolutely filthy and disgusting. The door connecting the lobby to rooms is brown, almost black from use. With accompanying pictures taken and saved to show evidence, the problems are as stated. Doors to the outer building are missing, leaving the buildings exposed to outsiders. Included red spills/splatters on the walls of the “closet”. Floor to ceiling rip on the wall nearest the bed. Pink mold in the corner of the bathroom behind the door, as well as pee dribble, & a GREY bathtub! An unkempt and unwashed coffee maker with hard water and stains, sitting bedside the sink. Where we were given two bottles of shampoo and no conditioner to use in the GREY shower. Water stain damage on the bathroom ceiling. Holes in the walls by the sink light fixture and smoke alarm. Tried to call to ask about checkout, phone didn’t work and said wrong room #. Filth and lack of property upkeep aside, the bed was not comfortable, actually worse than a dorm XL bed! This was by far the most disappointing experience I’ve had with any hotel or inn and I cannot go back. Thank god I didn’t travel alone.

Nothing good about this property! I walked into the room and stuck to the floor I looked in the bathroom and the toilet paper on the roll was stained with something my husband walked into the room with our bags and was just as discussed as I was, I got his room key and took them to the front desk and told them we couldn't stay in a room this filthy. I wouldn't let my dog stay in a place like this! The place I am just assuming there was some construction going on the whole end of the hall that they stuck us on was knocked out and plastic hanging up and colder than crap. If there would have been an emergency we could not have gotten out. It is not fire safe should be condemned! Would like my money refunded but somehow it got booked with expedia and that makes it harder to get refunds.

The room was gross. My room has hair in the sheets. Also a stain of unknown origins in the comforter. I had to move rooms.

I took a shower and walked out to the sink area and back in the bathroom!! My feet were muddy and I had to wash my feet again and put on Sox and shoes to walk through the room.

Not clean

We walked in and walked right back out. This is one of the dirtiest, smelliest and most run down Inns I’ve ever stepped foot in. The staff was very kind and that’s the only nice thing I have to say about this property. The pictures posted look absolutely nothing like the actual location. The smell of cigarettes was overwhelming from the entrance to the lobby and all the way to our room. We checked in, found our room and returned our keys. The staff responded with “I’m sorry, this happens to us a lot” with no offer for any sort of refund. We left feeling utterly disappointed, uncomfortable and in need of a shower.

Dirty rooms found blood stains on sheets staff couldn't find out reservation had to put us in another room bathroom was dirty fridge wasn't cold and contental breakfast was the furthest from one highly disappointed with this established. Pillows had hair on them, it seems that they don't add clean sheets. Totally disappointed

The room itself was clean, but it smelled. We had to check out at 3 am because the people who were in the adjacent room never, and I mean never, shut up! Talking, laughing even yelling!

The room and service were good. Room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Shower was weak, should have a full size coffee maker and a fridge with a freezer for ice packs for travelers.Not a full size on obviously. Exterior look like it had been touched since the early 70's. But the staff was great and the room was clean.

Everything was old place looked run down and out of date. Walls are so thin.

I didnt like that the bathtub was broken.

My stay was nice, when me and my man first arrived we were welcomed by a blonde lady who was training a young man. Very nice people, as for my checkout experience, the lady at the desk today was very rude. Would stay again for the convenience and the bar downstairs. Staff needs to be better all around or keep the 2 we met at check-in

Hotel is super filthy. But what was the weirdest is that at 4:20 am the receptionist entered our room without any proper reason or explanation, without knocking using their key. That scared us and the receptionist never explained the reason behind this. We think probably it was to steal something Overall, terrible experience.

clean comfortable room, friendly staff

I enjoyed staying at the Red Carpet Inn after I was upgraded to a king size room on the second floor far away from everyone. The first night the unfriendly front desk staff put me in room 101 next to the entrance from the lobby. It was very noisy with people screaming out at least four times. After the third bursting out by the drunken men, I couldn’t go back to sleep. But, I tried to look at it as a positive experience in order to be in peace for my foster sister who I came to Hazleton for her wake and funeral services. The next morning, I happened to see a very nice front desk staff at continental breakfast. I asked if she could upgrade me. She did and it made my stay and trip back to Hazleton for my dear sister a different experience. Thank you.

Property and staff was fine just non refundable because i was not aware from expedia that their was a 70 deposit . If knew that would not of went there. And i didnt get my money back from expedia which said i was late to check in and the staff even wondered why because you need to check in by 3am. And i was there at 11:30pm so it sucked. Never will i deal with expedia again.

The room were good for sleeping. The were some cosmetic repairs need, but not terrible. The staff were friendly and helpful.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The Hotel was near a shopping plaza and restaurants which was convenient. The room and bedding were clean and the service exceptional.

It was on a nice area and convenient for a last minute stop, due to bad weather.

Gentlemen at the front desk and young lady at the bar very pleasant. We were told the bar/kitchen was open until 2am. The bar was very cool, 80s vibe but the kitchen was closed. The hotel itself very old, dingy and out dated. The outside had trash all over, the hall carpets stained, and we walked into the room and the smell hit you. The floors were sticky, the lamps flickered, change/money all over the floor so that tells me it wasn’t cleaned properly, the bathroom oh my. The tub was gross with hair and stains, the sink was dirty, towels had stains on them, the toilet was clean. The wallpaper old and stained, no fan to vent. The walls were dirty and marked all up. The walls are thin. We could here the other TVs, The bed was comfy enough and the linen was ok. Updates are needed but they do have EV chargers. Money should go into updating everything from the outside to the inside.

Our “non-smoking” room stunk like a wet old ashtray. A couple of the towels in the bathroom area had stains on them such that it looked like they hadn’t been washed. The enclosure outside of all of the rooms also smelled like a big gross ashtray from staff and guest smoking in it. At one point in the early evening, someone was banging on our door demanding to be let in, turned out they had the wrong room. The person at the front counter was nice and check-in was quick is the only thing good I can say about the place. Breakfast the next morning was bagels and bread that looked like they’ve been sitting for days, expired orange juice, Costco apples and really not much else. Pretty sure some people staying there we’re just doing drugs, and bringing hookers back to their rooms. Absolutely disgusting, will never stay there again.

The room was OK at first we had trouble with the TV we only had one channel. Other than that, it was pretty good. They helped us find more channels by rebooting the remote. I would think the worst part of our stay, was the complementary breakfast could have been better they could of had more variety to choose from. All they had to choose from was bagels, raisin bran cereal and milk and apple juice. That was it. There was no more variety. Oh, we tried to make waffles with the waffle maker. the waffle mix was water down and stuck real bad to the Waffle maker. So we didn’t have waffles after that experience.

I like it every time we go home we stay here and I truly am getting what am paying for clean breakfast is good no complaints
