The staff was amazing but the pool and laundry are closed and the hotel is being renovated as of this weekend. We did not know about this and the staff went above and beyond. We also had a plumbing issue and had to go to anotjer room to shower this am. We have stayed here several rimes over the years so i do ceel like its due to the renovations

I love the Hilton. We got to swim and enjoy the hot tub and my son had a blast. Bed and pillows were so comfortable. Staff was awesome.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden for a concert at Bryce Jordan Center. Everything about the hotel was great. Hot tub/heated pool, comfortable beds and a free shuttle to the venue.

Room was recently updated but the workmanship was really bad. The pool was not heated, the entire hotel was being renovated, and the bar and restaurant are closed. I chose Hilton Garden Inn for the standard of hotel and service not for a free breakfast and a cheap room. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, the front desk was friendly and helpful. Other than that I would have been better served at a super8. Oh and the fire alarm went off at 9am on Saturday morning ending a vacation attempt the sleep in. This hotel is not a Hilton Garden Inn and based upon the lack of quality workmanship should not be in the future. Stayed at a Delta hotel by Marriot after and was very satisfied and it was 35 dollars less a night. Hilton Garden Inn will no longer be my go to for business travel, why pay more for less. They were my first choice, Yikes someone needs canned..

We enjoyed our stay. Our room comfortable and clean. A litt disappointed in the restaurant and bar being closed early. However snacks were available by check in desk and fresh to make coffee's. Hungout in lobby area since it was raining to wait on the shuttle. Also enjoyed the use of swimming pool and hot tub. Everyone was nice and friendly.

Great location! Great personnel! Room very nice! Despite the “advertised” construction/renovations warning on their website was still nice. HOWEVER, this location was specifically chosen for their featured and PICTURED INDOOR POOL AND HOT TUB ON THEIR WEBSITE for a special 50th birthday celebration getaway! Much to my HORRIBLE DISCOVERY when we got to the pool area there was NO HOT TUB TO BE FOUND!! I was given an apology and that was it! No one offered to find us another location that did have what we expected, WHAT WAS ADVERTISED. I think if they went through all the trouble of making the change on their website to show there were renovations being done surely they could have updated the pictures and descriptions so that the new pool area did NOT show the hot tub!

The cleaning staff must pay attention at the standards on how to deliver a room. Managment also need to be accountable for this issues. This was an busy weekend in Srate Colleges but I left on Saturday, the most busy day, I arrive on Thursday and still found the room in lane cleaning conditions. Because of the busy weekend this room was 3 times nos expensive than usual. I appreciate that I’d the are willing to charge 3 times more, they will also prepare to complied to the mini standards on how to deliver the room in terms of cleaning. Very upset and disappointed.

We came back from dinner to a horrible smell of sewage in our ground floor room. We had to move across the haul into a room with 2 doubles, after having booked a King Suite. Hotel Front Office Manager offered $100 off of a $1500 bill for 2 nights. We requested that she waive the 1st night and that was here response. I'll be disputing all charges with Amex, writing Hilton Corporate and Hotels.com.

My television didn’t work and staff came to help but were not able to resolve issue. There were two football teams staying at hotel and the noise level of constant doors opening and closing on my floor as well as floor above me made it difficult to relax and sleep. There were no parking spots that were close to the door so as a single women entering a hotel having to walk around building felt unsafe and advertised that I was somebody traveling alone.

Front desk staff at check in was great! She knew I pulled around back to park & that I was using a crutch, & she was considerate enough to meet me back there with a luggage cart. She was really super nice!

When we checked out Sunday and arrived back home my husband discovered he had forgotten his jacket in the closet. We called the Hotel, and they retrieved the jacket and mailed it back to us. I would recommend Hilton Garden State College to anyone going to Penn State for an event.

The woman working at the front desk upon check in was friendly and helpful. We were attending an event at BJC, and the hotel was conveniently located to the venue. It was startling when the fire alarm went off at one point. We evacuated the building, but nobody came around and told us it was safe to go back in. Nobody told us what was going on. It was honestly a little unsettling. There was not breakfast included, but we paid extra for the breakfast buffet. It was NOT worth the price at all. I have was way better free hotel breakfasts, and this was pricier than the delicious breakfast we enjoyed the next day the The Waffle House. Overall, the hotel was clean and convenient, and the staff was great. We would stay again.

It was so easy to get to and from beaver stadium. Not happy with the extortion of money . 1000 dollars for one night. That included fees and what not. All because you are in state college and close to beaver stadium

Stayed here with my daughter on our campus visit trip to Penn State. Great location near Penn State and very clean and quiet, staff were extremely friendly and restaurant for breakfast was fantastic. easy parking, fast free internet and all was good. Will stay again, absolutely.
