Our stay here was pleasant. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly, and helpful. Unfortunately we had to ask for several items such as linens for the sleeper sofa for the kids, pillows, coffee and then found out that there was no microwave in the room, which comes in handy when you have kids with you. Also the door leading outside would not lock allowing anyone to enter at the backside of the building, close to our room. I did not care for that. And finally the pool was closed as the staff said that they had not received the chemicals to properly set it up , again an amenity that is helpful when you travel with kids.

The a/c made a lot of noise going on and off all through the night, the elevator stopped working and I was on the 3rd floor. Difficult to walk up and down stairs with baggage. The coffee was stale at 530 am and the breakfast on Sunday was not all that.

I do 25 miles more to book this hotel becouse of swimming pool, and in the morning when I was on the way with book and towel I notice that there was no water. I could stay in other hotel for half of the price

The entire hotel has a musty smell like there has been a flood and they’re cleaning it up, the pool is completely empty. We were hoping to use the pool with our kids and no one ever told us it wasn’t able to be used. We definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

Needed a place to stay while I was in town for the funeral of a close relative. The front desk person wanted to know the reason for my stay (which seemed like a question they ask/track for their own internal purposes) and it totally rubbed me the wrong way since I was actively grieving. The hotel was mostly okay and adequate for a night, though their cleaning staff need to pay closer attention to details - there was a huge hunk of hair (imagine someone cleaning out their brush) on the bathroom floor and it looked like housekeeping just pushed all the dirt from the floor into the corners and left it there. I’ll definitely explore other lodging options next time I’m in town to visit family.

The staff was very nice and helpful when needed. The breakfast was continually filled and had good options. However, there was a good amount of mold in our bathroom. It also looks like there was damage in the bathroom and it was poorly fixed. There was also a white splatter all over the bathroom wall.

When I checked into my room I found that it hadn't been cleaned since the last stay. The proprietor was very polite and gave me a larger room right away. However I found that the AC unit would not operate properly, either refusing to turn on or not actually cooling the room. I tossed and turned all night, sweating on the mediocre mattress because the room was too warm. Not the biggest deal but it sucks to lose a night of sleep when on a business trip.

All of the staff put my mind at ease with their professionalism and politeness. I was touched by the personable service I had received from the front desk. A true representation of “Southern Hospitality” there in Hartsville, SC. Great location, walking distance to the university, an elite residential high school, parks and several restaurants in the area. Highly recommend Fairfield Inn.

We enjoyed our stay for the night. The room was clean comfortable and a good price for the night The breakfast could have been a little better coffee was very weak and didn’t taste fresh . Otherwise we had a great time. Handicap room located close to the front of building and ice area.

Disappointed In The Stay For What I Paid. Not Terrible But Not Great. Breakfast Didn't Have Enough Options & Our 3rd Morning They Were Already Wrapping Up At 8:40AM So We Couldn't Get Breakfast. Seems Awfully Early To Stop Putting Fresh Food Out. Also Just A Little Mold On The Ceiling In The Bathroom. Again Not Terrible Just Disappointed For The Price I Paid.
