Courtyard by Marriott Myrtle Beach Broadway

The front desk staff and housekeepers were very kind and helpful. The hotel lobby, elevators & room was clean. Per the photo online, I thought the pool was bigger. Despite the pool being smaller than what I expected, it was nice. The pool area was clean as well. I wish the breakfast to purchase had more options. I did find it a little pricey compared to going out to a local breakfast eatery. Overall my family & I enjoyed our stay.

Stayed for one night in August after dropping our kid off at Coastal Carolina U for the fall semester. (About 20 min. away). Quick and friendly front desk during check in. Clean, quiet, comfortable room. Lobby bar closed at 10pm on a Friday night, which we thought was a little early. Broadway on the Beach is across the road (approx. 10 min walk) where there are many food and drink options. Would stay here again.

Our room, lobby, common areas, outside seating and pool were very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Stayed for 3 nights and would highly recommend. Perfect location near restaurants and shopping. Very close to Ripken ball fields

Staff was amazing. Friendly, efficient, offering great customer service. The property has seen better days. The door to the back parking lot doesn’t latch or even close all the way so I had some safety concerns. It was quiet as long as the hall was vacant. The bed and temp were comfortable and the room had plenty of towels available. Location is very close to food and entertainment. Flight crews seem to have deemed this location a favorite.

Liked the room and beds (very comfortable). Didn’t like people smoking right by front door. Area was dirty with cigarette butts and ashes. Couldn’t get umbrella up in pool area. Fitness center was good to excellent.

Great property. The gentleman who ran the bar/restaurant was particularly excellent.

No fire pit as advertised, ice machine didn’t work and doors had to be slammed to be shut! Beds were terrible and bathtub was chipped.

Parking was great, rooms were clean and quiet.

The staff at this Courtyard Marriott was excellent! From the front desk to the bar/restaurant to the housekeeping staff everyone was friendly and helpful and welcoming. Gold stars all around. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with nice beds and pillows. I also liked the microwave access on each floor.

Room did not feel or smell clean...bath tub was painted over and paint was peeling off it looked horrible

Good price,Very lowkey hotel. Didn’t like that the shower was dirty, anytime we would turn on the sink water to brush our teeth it smelled like sewer.

Nice clean rooms. Quiet.

Hotel was clean, check in was fast and location was convenient to all the area attractions. Broadway at the Beach is across the street, there is a Target nearby to pickup snacks or anything you may have forgotten at home and area attractions are within about a 15 minute drive. We had daily housekeeping without having to ask for it which was a nice surprise. Only negatives in my opinion are the sink is outside the bathroom and the counter is very small so only one person can get ready at a time, no storage to put toiletries so we had to use the closet across from the sink. The pillows were not a normal size and a little hard. Overall, was satisfied with our 4 night stay.

The bathroom tub for Handicap people was dirty and had mode on it, something was wrong with the hot water when i woke up to check out at 3:45am on Dec 2, 2024.

We chose this property due to its 8.2 good rating. What we found was that it needed to be much lower than that. It was easy to find, location was great, parking was nice and convenient. Took a turn when we entered, first the back door would not close to the hotel. Room carpet felt very damp. No trash bags in trash cans. Fridge was dirty. To top it off, went to pull out sofa bed for my 5 year old and 2 roaches ran out! Hotel shows it’s age but there’s a difference between old and just filthy. They moved our room. 2nd room, still no trash bags in trash cans which I find odd. TV did not work. By this time it was late when we had arrived so we were exhausted from traveling and just wanted a good nights sleep. Were told we could leave immediately for a full refund but again, sleepy 5 year old, town we were not familiar with, 10:30 at night looking for a hotel not in our best interest.AC took until 4 am to cool the room. The room carpet was even more damp than the first room. Woke up bright and early to get on out of there and had to use the shower to brush our teeth as there was no water coming from the sink. Front desk help early morning was helpful and we were told the GM would call us. Crickets … Thankfully, Expedia was very helpful! Run far from this place. I emptied all of our things outside of our home in case we brought home roaches. PS we did not get our good nights sleep because of worrying about bugs, why the carpet was so damp etc …

Bathrooms need some serious updates. In room 302, looks like the tub/shower was painted. Why are there no plastic bags in garbage cans? Kind of disgusting!

My A/C was not working properly. But the staff was very professional and courtesy

The HVAC was quiet. In fact, I didn’t even know it was on. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable and I got a good night sleep

Close to Myrtle Beach Pelican's stadium. Restaurant was supposed to be open till 10 but would not take orders at 9:50! Room was ok. Microwave only in ice room, not in rooms. Bathroom needs updating! Lots of charging plugs!

Stay on day , but found out that I don't have any hot water !

Bed was more comfortable than at home. Best sleep I had for a long time.

They have no microwave in the rooms. And refrigerator was small couldn't store much in it.

Okay room, only issue was that the AC unit/air system did not seem to be controllable so was hot during the night

Room was okay, clean but nobody was staying there, i would think they would give us better room. Nope it was corner room where u could hear it all. staff was okay as well.

The lady who checked me in was lovely and helpful, but a man working the nighttime shifts was brusque and somewhat rude.

I left my cell phone in my bed. Called to hopefully retrieve. So kind!! Had it waiting for me at the front desk! Love this hotel and will stay again.

When our plane was delayed and we missed our first night, the hotel was generous enough to waive that first night and extend it. Upon arrival they had our room ready and were so kind about our whole situation. I would stay here again and again.

The water pressure in the room was terrible. The shower was just a bit better than a trickle. I asked the front desk to have someone check it and they told me they didn't think they could do anything about it. It was that way our entire stay. Also had to ask for the plastic bag for the ice bucket. DId not replenish coffee supplies but once during the stay.

I think she could sense our exhaustion and gave us a room as soon as we checked in. It was clean, a nice pool, comfy beds and right across from Broadway at the beach!

This was our first time staying at this property and we enjoyed it very much. Everything we wanted to do was across the street from the hotel. Bonus, it was one mile from the beach.

Ok hotel in Myrtle Beach. You will need a car to get around because of the location, which is a bit off. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

Close to Broadway on the Beach , near to hwy 17 and 17 bypass , and of course 501 . There is so much to do that is within a few minutes drive !

The property is not located at Broadway as the Beach as requested in the booking field. Also requested a hotel near The Carolina Opry and this was not close at all.

Cost of the food amenities is outrageous and coffee was NOT hot. That was disappointing

The food and wine was way over priced. The breakfast sandwich was minus 2 ingredients as srated on the menu but the same price. They were out of it. The bun was microwaved so long i couldn't pick it up for 10 min.

The property was clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn’t like was a 10 am checkout and lack of breakfast options (the ones there are insanely expensive too!!!)

This property is EXCELLENT!! I would reccomend to all to lodge here. The room was very nice and the onsite dining was wonderful!!
