The hotel was falling apart. Leaky roofs everywhere. Breakfast dining was cancelled due to ceiling collapse from rain. Floors continually being mopped and vacuumed. Room a/c practically non-existent. Limited activities and eating choices on property.

About half or more of the rooms in the hotel require you to walk outside to get to them, which is very annoying during storms. There were stains on the chair in the room. Also, the advertised indoor pool is at a completely different hotel that you have to take a shuttle to.

We booked this hotel based off of a combination of uploaded photos, previous reviews and because we trust in the Hilton brand. The photos uploaded must be extremely outdated because that was not at all our experience of the property and most of the photos of the amenities (such as the indoor pool and water park) are not of this property but of nearby properties that you have access to. Which we felt were false advertisement but the shuttle service back and fourth to the different amenities at the nearby properties was extremely convenient and made up for that. This property is not well kept at all. The property was probably the most disappointing we have stayed at. The room was not clean or up to anyone's standards, and it being an ocean view room the room door faced the outside of the hotel and there was such a huge gap in the door that the entire night the entire night all you could here is whistling of air rushing through the room door. When we checked in and noticed some of the issues, we did try to speak with guests services but because it was a holiday weekend they did not have availability to switch our room without it being an up charge. The staff at the front desk as well as the shuttle drivers were super helpful and friendly, but overall would not be going again nor would I recommend it.

The property was very clean.... only thing that was disappointing was spa os at another property it would have been nice to know that. Also staff at wet whistle they were great but..... they needed more staff 💯 waited a long time for drinks they needed more bartenders for sure the wait time to get a drink was too long.

We enjoyed our stay here, it is in a very safe area, I did not want to stay downtown Myrtle Beach and this was perfect-just close enough! Beach access and variety of pools is great. Also had access to the waterpark at Embassy Suites! Poolside bar had good food. Rooms were typical for Hilton, however it is annoying that the rooms do not have individual microwaves. There is one or two microwaves per floor in the ice/vending machine area.

The Wet Whistle was convenient for lunch. There was more than one pool. One of the DJ’s included children in his music lineup. The breakfast buffet did not disappoint. Hilton has a great resort here and my family and I will return.

So, I am big on where I stay and have never worried about Hilton properties. Room 733 was horrible there appeared to be mold on the ceiling and vent. The door leading to the outside needs adjustment I could see the light from the outside. Furniture was rusted and dingy. Then to top it off the bathroom door had to be forcefully closed and the door knob fall off. Upon entering the hotel (main lobby definitely was deceiving compared to the room. I complained and was told they would send someone to clean the room and fix the door knob.

1-paid extra for ocean front room. Their rooms are actually ocean view NOT ocean front. It was angled and had view of parking lots, buildings and noisy maintence. 2-there was a container in my balcony with a joint in it that was left by the people before me. Not sure how housekeeping missed that. 3-there was a piece of a person’s broken fingernail in the bed on the sheet. 4- I did like the location and easy access to shopping and restaurants but not sure I’d stay there again Also the food was pretty good.

The listing photos for this hotel are false you need to walk or take a shuttle to Embassy in order to enjoy these amenities. Very inconvenient. To top it off the Hilton needs to do an update the thermostat was broken door was warpped and broken. Housekeeping was not existent. The room was never vacuumed dust and old hair from people who stayed before us.

I booked a room with enhanced ocean view that was the side of the building looking at the HAVC system. I paid extra for that view. I could see the ocean through the steam coming from the system. The room was ok but balcony was very small. Plus there are extra charges on top of the original booking $45 for resort fee, plus $12 for parking added onto what i already paid.

The room definitely is outdated. A corner protector was laying across the floor when we walked in. And the air conditioner makes a loud rattling sound when it turns off. Would wake us every night. It was just ok. Won’t stay there again though.

Our first room: the AC did not work. Got moved to another room and the AC was a LITTLE better. Room never got below 73 degrees when it was set to 66. The balcony door didn’t close right so since it was eco friendly we are assuming that’s why the room never got cooler. The cable was broken for the tv so we had to have maintenance come AGAIN to fix that. No money was deducted for our inconveniences. Outdoor bar closed way too early. For what we paid, it wasn’t worth the stay.

The hotel itself was ok. But for the price we paid (Nearly 3k) it was not worth it. The bedroom was extremely small and even the shower was so tight that you could not turn sideways in the shower. (And I'm a normal size person). The biggest issues we had was we purposely chose this place due to them saying there was multiple spashpads for the kids. The thing we found out is that one splash pad was 4 blocks away at another hotel and the other was like 6 blocks away at a rec center. In order to take kids to it, its nearly impossible. The walk was 20 minutes and hauling two kids in strollers in rough for that long. When asking the front desk where to go for these, they would say its a 5 minute walk along the beach. it was 20 minutes walking normal pace. Also, the bedroom had vents falling off the ceiling in the shower and the ac was set at 60 to 65 degrees and the thermostat did not work. We also paid for a ocean view and the view was up against the building and barely showed a view. We also could not get a consistent cleaning of our room. I had to go downstairs and request it twice because they just didnt do it. And when i talked to the front desk they told me different times that its done. each employee gave different times. So who knows. We didn't allow any of this to really hurt our vacation but it definitely was an issue for nearly 3k in 7 days. we were very disappointed and didn't think it was worth half the cost.

I would be remissed if I didn't shout out the Manager on Dudy, Dujuan (hope I spelled it correctly) and the most accommodating Bellman, Mike. No matter my issue or concern, they were there, promptly to assist me. Also, the housekeepers were an added addition to our stay. I can be a very critical guest. However, there wasn't a time that each employee I met wasn't working,friendly, and very diligently.

Interaction with staff was excellent. Very friendly and extremely helpful. Room was comfortable. Areas of facility showing some wear, however, there was signage indicating upcoming improvements. ( Eg. several ceiling water leaks while raining) Beach view was great. Enjoyed outdoor bar. Didn't get time to experience spa and other amenities due to conference activities. Beautiful property!

When I arrived at the hotel the guys who delivered the luggage to the room were very hospitable and nice. My room had a broken toilet, the thermostat did not work tub and sheets were dirty. Had to call up front numerous times for my issues to be resolved. When I come back to Myrtle beach the Hilton will not be a hotel of choice.

This hilton was outstanding in customer service, friendliness, and appearance. The staff was awesome. The ladies at Starbucks were very knowledgeable with drink. The smell was inviting throughout the building. They really put alot of time and effort into keeping the property maintained.

From the very start of my stay I requested a late checkout. I travel quite often so I completely understand room availability, but I always ask and 9/10 I get accommodated, even if just one hour later. At the Hilton, I called when I booked and I was told that they should be able to accommodate but they advised me to check when I arrive at the hotel. When I arrived and checked in, in asked again, only to get an answer to check the morning of your departure. I checked at 8 am in my departure date Asha they quick said that they can’t accommodate. Obviously, they knew the answer when I arrived but the “game” was really frustrating. The room was just ok also. It was quite old and there were chips in the wall, doorframes, counters and mirrors. The cleaning staff also was subpar as they only quickly wiped things down. The shower wasn’t cleaned, the sinks weren’t cleaned daily. The other staff were friendly but my overall stay was very underwhelming.

I like the property fine, but they were having maintenance issues. I think the staff really tried to accommodate guests to the best of their ability. Friendly and helpful under the stress of the issues. Bar staff worked well under pressure as well. They were busy!! We will be back.

Ted and Dale at the pool bar were amazing. Pool and beach access was lovely, and Broadway at the Beach is less than 20 minutes away. My family and friends did two escape rooms at The Escape Game at Broadway at the Beach and absolutely loved it. Highly recommend, especially on the off-season.

My stay at the Hilton Hotel Myrtle Beach was excellent! The front desk staff were amazing, always friendly and helpful, and the facilities were impeccable, especially the relaxing spa. The only suggestion I have, as a vegetarian, is to add more plant-based dishes with protein. Many people assume vegetarians only eat salads, but we need protein too! The hotel stay itself was wonderful, especially the very timely room service . My only complaints are that there was a $25 per night cleaning fee if you want your room cleaned, the restaurant times posted are not the actual hours, if you sat outside at the patio bar, you had to walk to the bar to order food; the waitresses did not visit the tables.

This was a total disappointment. Property was dirty. Pool area had hair, used Band-Aids and just in general dirty. Service was terrible. Staff was grouchy and unfriendly. I also ordered room service (one pizza) for my kids and it never came. We waited two hours before we went to sleep hungry.

Property was run down. Common areas dirty. Bed and pillows hard as a rock. Almost all amenities at other properties. Very little food choices. Worse Hilton property I ever stayed.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hilton but the restaurant could use better staffing. There is a sign at the front that says please wait to be seated and no one ever shows up to seat you.

My second stay there. First one was a girls trip and it was amazing but now i went back with my family and small children and it was perfect! Easy access to beach nice and clear area, wet whistle for fast drink and food while at the pool with fast service! We love the pool with the sand pool and different depths of water, nice entertainment at the front pool facing the ocean, also have free shuttle service to the Embassy suite for the water park just need to scan bar code to request a ride. Parking can get expensive at 20$ a day ( until 11am ). Will be back!
