The perfect inn/pub vibe if that is what you’re looking for! Staff was so helpful and friendly with everything. Room was just what we needed for a night. Not a whole lot to do in the area but there is a pub right downstairs and down the road. Parking onsite was a plus

Check in was quick and straightforward. Room was clean and tidy albeit basic. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast was very slow to arrive. Ordered at 8.00 served to table an hour later and we were the only customers for over 30 minutes. Hotel needs to be aware bringing a pot of tea and telling us to share with the table next to us is not acceptable. Neither is sugar in a take a way container and milk in Bisto gravy jug and again we had to share.

Lou and her team were so helpful,caring and accommodating.All the staff were great,a big thank you to Emma . The locals in the bar below the guest rooms were very friendly. Looking forward to returning,when next in the area. I heartily recommend this hotel and the bar/restaurant

Service at the bar yo check in was with a smile quick and easy. Room was small but adequate very clean and bed was very comfortable. Telly worked plus loved the black out blind too. All in all excellent value for money. Many Thanks

Unfortunately tune rooms are very noisy situated above the bar and the fire alarm went off in the early hours. Appreciated that fire alarm is out of their control. Hotel is adequate and fair for the price but a bit to loud for me

The checking via the public bar was a long wait while they served drinks it was noisy so difficult ti hear the room was so tiny no matres protector no hospitality tray not even a bottle of water the window blind was broken and had holes in it the shower door was hanging off my husband fixed this the room was clean and nice clean towels it was lacking in basics a mirror at a dressing table was to low and no seat provided so you could see in said mirror Iwould not stay here again did not sleep well due to noise from outside and having to have the window open due to the heat also as we could not park on their car park I was worried about the safety of our car. Not being able to make a drink in the morning and not having facilities on site to get a drink is really bad . One couple had ordered breakfasts which were not provided they had a 2and half hour journey home ours was 1 hour.

I was Welcomed with friendliness the Staff are very Welcoming and friendly. The Room is Definitely Value for money it’s a Nice Cosy room I’ve even Booked for another night’ I had a Meal here I had the Mixed Grill’ a Great Meal I’m having Such a lovely Stay here it’s also a Great location.. I’m Glad I found this little Gem..

Rooms, very, very basic. Dubious stains & marks on all walls & carpets. Room was freezing cold when arrived. Walls paper thin & could hear talking in next door room. When checking in needed photo ID before they give you the room key & remote control for television! They seemed unimpressed that we had booked 5 rooms through a third party & not directly with the hotel because they did not get all the payment when booked this way.

We had two rooms booked, one was lovely and big and clean, the second one was small and had a strong smell of weed, we complained about it and the staff must have sprayed something to make it smell better, which wasn’t great. Also I wanted to pay on the arrival, but they still tried to take the money from my card before I got there, I told them I wasn’t happy but they didn’t do anything about it.

The room we had was very nice and clean,bed was comfy. Disadvantages no tea,coffee and kettle in room,which let it down,i would of been nice to have a cup of tea/coffee when first waking up. The Room key No9 and TV remote was left inside the room,as when we left ,the reception door was locked,maybe the reason was we did leave at 08:30am that morning.

The staff are absolutely amazing, very welcoming and friendly. There are no coffee making facilities in the room but if you ask at the bar they will bring you a fresh cuppa up to your room.

Whilst I appreciate the hotel is not expensive, it was lacking in several areas. Arrived around 6 p.m. on a particularly warm day only to find there was no hot water for a much needed shower. The room was small and very poorly ventilated. The window overlooked the high Street, which made it very noisy. There were no curtains, only a malfunctioning blackout blind. There was no kettle or other tea making facilities for the morning, all of which made for a very uncomfortable stay. Having said all that the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Lou and her team were so helpful,caring and accommodating.All the staff were great,a big thank you to Emma . The locals in the bar below the guest rooms were very friendly. Looking forward to returning,when next in the area. I heartily recommend this hotel and the bar/restaurant

The checking via the public bar was a long wait while they served drinks it was noisy so difficult ti hear the room was so tiny no matres protector no hospitality tray not even a bottle of water the window blind was broken and had holes in it the shower door was hanging off my husband fixed this the room was clean and nice clean towels it was lacking in basics a mirror at a dressing table was to low and no seat provided so you could see in said mirror Iwould not stay here again did not sleep well due to noise from outside and having to have the window open due to the heat also as we could not park on their car park I was worried about the safety of our car. Not being able to make a drink in the morning and not having facilities on site to get a drink is really bad . One couple had ordered breakfasts which were not provided they had a 2and half hour journey home ours was 1 hour.

We had two rooms booked, one was lovely and big and clean, the second one was small and had a strong smell of weed, we complained about it and the staff must have sprayed something to make it smell better, which wasn’t great. Also I wanted to pay on the arrival, but they still tried to take the money from my card before I got there, I told them I wasn’t happy but they didn’t do anything about it.

The perfect inn/pub vibe if that is what you’re looking for! Staff was so helpful and friendly with everything. Room was just what we needed for a night. Not a whole lot to do in the area but there is a pub right downstairs and down the road. Parking onsite was a plus

Unfortunately tune rooms are very noisy situated above the bar and the fire alarm went off in the early hours. Appreciated that fire alarm is out of their control. Hotel is adequate and fair for the price but a bit to loud for me

Whilst I appreciate the hotel is not expensive, it was lacking in several areas. Arrived around 6 p.m. on a particularly warm day only to find there was no hot water for a much needed shower. The room was small and very poorly ventilated. The window overlooked the high Street, which made it very noisy. There were no curtains, only a malfunctioning blackout blind. There was no kettle or other tea making facilities for the morning, all of which made for a very uncomfortable stay. Having said all that the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

I was Welcomed with friendliness the Staff are very Welcoming and friendly. The Room is Definitely Value for money it’s a Nice Cosy room I’ve even Booked for another night’ I had a Meal here I had the Mixed Grill’ a Great Meal I’m having Such a lovely Stay here it’s also a Great location.. I’m Glad I found this little Gem..

Check in was quick and straightforward. Room was clean and tidy albeit basic. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast was very slow to arrive. Ordered at 8.00 served to table an hour later and we were the only customers for over 30 minutes. Hotel needs to be aware bringing a pot of tea and telling us to share with the table next to us is not acceptable. Neither is sugar in a take a way container and milk in Bisto gravy jug and again we had to share.

A Lovely little Place I really enjoyed my stay’ A nice Cosy room’ It’s also a Great location Your spoilt with Plenty Of shops and a few Places to eat’ The Staff were warm and friendly and we’re always there if I needed anything’ They have a morning Breakfast 8am till 10am at a Good Price and also have evening meals’ It’s a lovely warm environment if want to sit and have a Drink. A lovely Place to come and Stay I would Definitely recommend it…

I stayed for three nights, however it was a little noisy with slamming doors from other residents, doors are hollow also. You can hear the trains passing also. Room was a little shabby and the carpet sticky in one place. Room was very small so luggage got in the way all the time. Shower drainage needed helping but shower and temperature control was good. I was in the top floor so if you have heavy bags be warned. Car parking is limited to around 8 cars, so first come first served.
