This property has been remodeled in the past two years. Rooms are updated and one of the pools is now a “water park” with 3 pretty legit slides. Access to the pier is free and the hotel property is large. Free mini golf too- though the course is worn out it’s still convenient free and fun. Good place to stay with kids.

Had a fun trip here, the amenities and location are well worth it. You’re not really in the crowded part of Myrtle Beach so the beach is calm. Dog friendly was nice! Only wished they offered a later check out and the water slide wasn’t available even though it didn’t close until 8

Checking in was a little confusing with the three hotels there being combined into one checkin area. Our room was really cool, but the floor had a sandy feel and we had to have it cleaned again. The staff was quick to respond. Being oceanfront was really nice. The pools and lazy river were really cool.

The staff were great, however the place itself was absolutely disgusting. Holes in walls,bugs everywhere, the people above me kept my family awake all night for 3 nights in a row and nothing was done even though I let the staff aware. The manager just sat in her office and did nothing, she didn’t even come out of her office and apologize. If you wanted room service, it took 24 hours for them to come to your room. No vacuum or broom in you room to pick up all the sand from the beach. The place itself needs to be burnt down and rebuilt.

Very Disappointed in cleanliness of these rooms. There was urine around back of toilet rust at base of toilet and tub still had stains in it. The air conditioner unit was rusted , as well as the base of the floor lamp. The lamp shade was full of dust and the sink counters were dirty as well. You think by putting these dim yellow lights in the room no one will notice. Happy I was able brought my own light. It also makes me wonder if you didn’t clean the things in plain sight. What others items you may have skipped? Changing sheets or even towels. Also how do you claim to be a 4 star hotel with a bottle of Log Cabin syrup on the table. They pancakes and eggs seems like they were microwaved

This hotel is the worst that I have ever stayed at. Dirty every place, elevator filthy and smelled very very slow, hallways always dirty and trash. Room beds worn out sag in the middle, pillows I wouldn't let my dog sleep on, furniture outdated and worn out. Floors and carpet stained and so dirty had wo keep my shoes on. Changed rooms the next day, had to look at three to find one I would accept, still dirty. We ended up with two queens instead of our King full ocean view. Always had a line at the service counter, only one or two people ever attending. Marc was very helpful. Room was scheduled when we checked in to be serviced every day. Third day we were only able to get fresh towels at 4:00 PM never serviced. Day 4 8am after complaining with Mark, again service was promised right away. 2PM complained and still no service. 4:30 pm a room attendant who spoke No English at all, came by as we were getting ready for dinner. Could not understand any request we asked her for. Pools so dirty they did not even look healthy if we had our children they couldn't get in. area around the pools dirty with cob webs, trash dust and stains. Pool bar attended by one person, always a line. Always a shortage of pool towels. Would have left the property but schedule did not allow time. Flight path of the airport was directly over the hotel and the airport was very close. Tourist helicopters also came by about every 5 minutes all day long. Very noisy hotel, out of room for more.....

Property was nice, rooms not very clean. Ours was very dusty! Check in was quick, but they didn't explain alot of what was available, ie., coffee in the morning, breakfast, etc. Pools were very clean and loved that it was right on the ocean. Not sure how often they are suppose to clean rooms, but always had to ask for extra towels, toilet paper and tissues. When we checked in didn't even have enough to start. Rooms need to be updated.

What I liked was the staff greeting and they were very polite. I definitely enjoyed the delicious cookies. When I got to the room, it initially seemed clean however, there was a significant amount of hair on the vanity and especially in the shower. There was also crumbs on the floor And it was just sort of a gross feeling. I seek out Doubletree because they’ve always been clean and good memories however, this one was far from it. There was a small dog barking as well as consistent air traffic that also led to a disappointing stay.

It was right on the beach! Room was very clean but a little dated. We could not charge our phones as the room has no USB chargers. It is a little confusing to check in because check- is not on the ground floor. We also had a little trouble finding our room. We did not feel like anything was clearly marked to find your way.

Their ocean front view isn’t just ocean front. The shape of the hotel being in a u shape has all the balconies facing each other. So yes, you can see the ocean but you definitely will not get any privacy on the balconies at all!

The rooms were older but remolded and clean. We stayed in the last building which was in path with of landing planes so they were pretty close and you could hear them, though once I was in bed I did not hear them so it was kind of cool to see them so close. The main lobby area and restaurant is very nice. Overall enjoyed our stay and probably would stay again

The hotel is listed as 4 star, but believe that is an old rating. 3 star at best. Walls had dirty spots, rust on the doors, excessively loud AC floor unit. I still don't know why hotels do not use modern technology with the AC units to make them more efficient and QUIET!!

When we got to the hotel, we were immediately notified that the suite that we booked wasn't available. I specifically book that suite for a reason and then they put us in connecting rooms. Not what I wanted. I paid almost $420 dollars for a suite and didn't get a suite. The hotel said they would work to refund me half the money, but I haven't seen that happen. I would have never stayed at this place if I knew I wasn't getting the suite. Very, Very disappointed.

A horrible experience, Im handicapped the elevator became broken, had to walk to go to another side to get up there then walk a long distance with a disability to gain access to my room. Siren alarm go off while im sleeping now thinking how can i get out safe with broken elevator, i cant stand up on my legs good so I ask for a shower seat to shower and they couldn't help with that either. Workers always had my walkway blocked to get pass in the hall, had to wait for them to move their carts each time. Just a horrible experience not very peaceful restful place or heplful if you have disability.

Hotel was clean, but checkin was a bit confusing and took quite a while with only 2 people at the desk. When we got to the front we were immediately asked for an upsell to a different room with a “better view”- note ours was just fine and $80 for a floor or two up wasn’t worth it. They were perfectly polite however and offered us cookies…which sent a flag to someone in “memberships” to immediately approach us on “ways to save”. We were only staying for the night until our rented house was ready and we aren’t interested in memberships or timeshares. She was extremely pushy to boot and we were immediately turned off. The downside was that we were charged $40 and the website said it was a $25 resort fee, so I’m not really sure what they up charged us for and I can’t get anyone on the phone to explain it. We likely won’t book again because of this.

We showed up at 6:30 pm (over hours after check in) and our room was not ready . They asked us to downgrade rooms so we could check get into a room and gave us the key. We moved our vehicle and brought the bags up to the room , only to find out the room was already occupied and we walked in on another family . We had to return to the desk and they offered us another room, that was not ocean view or two queens- like we paid for. There was not enough pillows in the room. We called the desk to bring us some and they never showed up. We finally gave up at 11:30 Pm and went to bed. The entire hotel was out of towels for the pool/beach so we used none and walked back from the pool dripping wet. The restaurant was mediocre and took almost an hour to receive one drink. For how much we paid, this was one of our worst hotel experiences ever. Not worth it.

Property was clean but not as clean as Marriot hotels lol. Our room had a towel that had a ball of hair on it. But overall it was ok. I was expecting more for the price we paid. Definitely not a Wyndham hotel haha staff was great. Super helpful and went above and beyond to help us. We wanted to go to the Pier and one of the staff dropped what they were doing and took us there. I certainly didn’t expect that but it was great.

I loves the my ocean view from my room and that the hotel was not located in the busy parts of Myrtle Beach! Did not like being so close to the airport. It noisy and planes flew too close to the hotel, very frightening! Hotel was isolated from many things in town and had catch Ubers which was great! The rooms need renovations badly, I believe this is in the works. Photos are misleading. Didn’t like my room door on the outside, reminded me of a motel.

As promised, this location was extremely pet friendly. The beach was open to dogs from 5pm until 10am. We were pleasantly surprised by the onsite restaurant, the service and the delicious food served there.The beach was clean and well maintained. The rooms were large and had been recently updated. A pleasant staff was the cherry on top of this 1 week stay. The only challenge was that parking was tight.

The hotel itself was great. The poolbar bartender was awesome!!! However for the price that we paid for a room from 4 pm to 11 am (not even a full 24 hours) that parking and breakfast would at least be included. Parking, because if we have paid to sleep there, we would obviously have to get ourselves to and from. Certainly wouldn’t want to have to pay someone else to bring and pick us back up. Especially with how much we had paid. Same thing with breakfast.

The room was clean, no issues at all there, the outdoor lazy river, kids pools and indoor pools were dirty and disappointing. Hotel restaurant was great from the service to the food. No daily housekeeping you had to ask for it so I wasn’t impressed with that, however anything we needed they brought right up. It is right by the airport so you hear all the planes and construction was going on next door so not great to look at.

Only cost 15.00 from Althea airport to the hotel! Perfect location. Beautiful pier and restaurant was great. Lazy river didn’t seem to be working well. Elevators were not all working. But everything else was great! And yes, I plan on going back!
