we had an amazing stay at this very classy resort-like hotel!! The service was top-notch, the restaurant on site had a ton of options, and the pool and hot tub area is a dream! I can’t remember the last time I had such an excellent experience at a hotel. We will definitely be back!

I appreciated the on site amenities, the cleanliness of the hotel and the super friendly, helpful and professional staff members. Shopping, restaurants and entertainment were nearby enough. I did not like that my stay was from Sunday and I extended through the following Sunday and housekeeping only cleaned my room on the Monday, not even to refresh owels, take out trash or give clean glasses. Since I spent the majority of my stay outside of my room I believe that should not have been the case. I was disappointed the the indoor hot tub wasn't warm And the sauna was broken. But overall the pros outweighed the cons. And I'm looking forward to booking with them again as opposed to another facility. I should have asked if they have a loyalty program.

We really enjoyed our spacious suite as well as the condition of the facilities. Beds were very comfortable. Dining was available but a little pricey so we didn’t eat on site. We loved the pool area.

This is an excellent property and my only complaint is minimal. The rooms are clean and exceed expectations. The amenities are great and shuttle service is exceptional. All staff was friendly and went beyond the call of duty to interact and be helpful. My only complaint is that you are denied access to a luggage cart. It’s mandatory that bellhops carry your luggage or you have to haul it all yourself. I personally don’t need anyone carrying or touching my belongings. So lugging in the luggage without a cart is a pretty big inconvenience. But if that’s all I have to complain about, that’s an A rating.

Trip was amazing. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The pool was open for 24 hours. I love there was free transportation to the private beach where chairs and umbrellas are provided free. The view of the waterway from our room was amazing. I would definitely go there again. We booked for one night and extended it for 2. The staff were very friendly and was willing to help.

Property is right near everything. So close to broadway at the beach. Barefoot landing is just 15 minutes up the road. The room was huge and the shower was amazing. The shower gel and shampoo in the signature scent was awesome. I would have bought some in the hotel store but $45 a bottle was a little steep. The shuttle too and from the private beach was the best, and you didn’t have to lug a beach chair or umbrella because they had them for use. Only thing I didn’t like was our room was on the ground level and while you could see the marina it wasn’t what I thought we were getting.

The property noted the rooms were "soundproof". However, our room most certainly was NOT soundproof . The entrance door to our room was near the HVAC equipment on a nearby roof, it was so loud, even with our door shut and the TV on. Additionally, you could hear small children both above us, as well as next door. The resort is dated (especially the main building). Mold was apparent on the walls above the elevators at our 4th floor location. The pool area was small but in a quaint sort-of way. Unfortunately both hot tubs, were lukewarm tubs instead. As a plus, the shuttle to the beach was convenient and the beachfront itself was wonderful!

The accommodations were comfortable and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The carpets in the common areas and in our room need attention. In the common areas the carpet smelled stale and in the room there were too many stains. I loved the good heavy furniture but, it looked worn (polishing may help to improve the look of the wood)

Normally this hotel is a great place to stay, but not this time. The 2 bedroom suite I had was Not a good room. The furniture was soiled, the carpet was buckling, the shower in the 2nd bathroom didn’t drain properly, the TV in the 2nd bedroom didn’t work. I could go on and on…

My five-night stay at Marina Inn was not as enjoyable as I had hoped. I booked a two-bedroom suite, which was nicely furnished with a decently sized kitchen and a washer/dryer. However, the beds were uncomfortable. The suite has two balconies, but I was afraid to go outside because of cockroaches. Every night when I went outside to relax, I saw large cockroaches crawling around, which terrified me. The property has an indoor pool; however, it is small and unclean, so I chose not to use it. The front desk staff were unfriendly and unaccommodating during both check-in and check-out. I originally booked a six-night stay but later discovered I needed to leave one day early. When I checked in, I asked the front desk about receiving a refund for the unused night. They directed me to contact Expedia for the refund. I then reached out to Expedia, and an Expedia representative also contacted the property’s front desk to request the refund, but it was unsuccessful. After spending five nights on an uncomfortable bed and encountering cockroaches on the balconies, I am ready to check out.

Overall amazing experience! Friendly staff, beautiful grounds, great pool, shuttle to the private beach front was amazing. After all the initial excitement I could see the hotel was showing some wear and tear but nothing that would prevent me from staying in the future.

We have been going here 30 years. Loved it in past. Hotel has gotten run down and dirty. Tub had dirt in it when we checked in. Sink and shower were not working properly. Tried to call front desk and no one was available to assist. Kids are not allowed to jump in pool any longer so kids do not want to go there in future. Will find a new place to stay in future

We enjoyed the condo— lots of space with den, dining area, and full kitchen, plus 2 bedrooms (3 beds), and 2 full baths. Our location had a side view of pool area, which was beautiful. Cleaning service staff were professional and friendly. The proximity to the excellent Grande Dunes golf course was convenient; and there were great restaurants nearby.

It was just fine . The room was run down and kind of shabby. Shower and bathroom looked newer with good water pressure. We had an issue with a staff member at ck out that was so rude… when we told them they didn’t clean the room upon request..resort experience it was not. They try not to clean the rooms with a coupon incentive of 5 dollars a day .. that are pretty useless.

The room had a leaking shower and I informed the front desk. They sent up facility management and tried to fix it 2 days in a row, however still leaking a puddle around the shower and toilet area. They did not once offer anything for my inconvenience. No offer to move my room on the second day. The last night our AC broke, I informed them in the morning and they offered nothing other than a "sorry about that, we will have someone ;look into that ". Not the experience nor the customer service I was expecting.

We stayed one night at the Marina Inn in a Junior Suite. The location was perfect with an amazing view! The property is well maintained and beautiful. It is an older property that is nice. Grande Dunes itself is quite amazing.

We stayed there for two nights. Room is very clean and comfort. The bathroom is huge and nice. Both inside pool and outside pool are good. But there are only two drawers in the room and a very small closet for clothes. We have to use our suitcase as a drawer for clothes. Lamp switches are old and about to be broken. The front desk people are very cold, no smile at all.

Our stay was amazing. Check in not so much. We called ahead from the road to see if we could check in early. We were told yes and when we got here, the manager I guess, rudely told us to get out of the way because it was check out time and he was busy checking other families (only one family behind us) out. So we saymt in view of the check in area for 15 minutes while he ignored us, no elese came in and we finally flagged someone else down who was able to help us. It definitely is a beautiful property and the service is amazing.

I received excellent customer service from Jolly and Joseph from day one. They were very polite and helpful. My mom was admitted to Grand Strand Hospital which was 5 minutes away and I shared with them my experience of sleeping in a chair for the day and a half we were there in the ER. I looked absolutely out of it physically and emotionally. I had originally reserved 2 nights at the Grande Dunes as a quick getaway for myself but when my mom fell ill, it was convenient for me to help my sisters out with being at the hospital for the days she has been here. I asked Jolly if there was a room with a great view that overlooked the golf course and/or waterway. He spoke with the manager on duty Joseph, and they really went out of their way to make sure I had the best view available. My first time staying there was the greatest experience I’ve ever had staying at a resort/hotel. The wings and fries were perfect in the main floor bar, the property is clean and extremely quiet. I will definitely recommend anyone to stay here whenever you’re in need of a place to stay in Myrtle Beach!

The property and staff are great. Marc the bartender can make some very tasty drinks. The valets are awesome and right on time. Sam and Anthony will take care of your car. They are very courteous and professional. They are also great with helping to get all your luggage to your room when you arrive and to your car when you check out

The property is very well maintained, we were a group of 5 staying in one unit and a group of 3 staying at a different room. The lady that checked us in was not very welcoming with us. She did not give us the amenities of facility information sheet and we had to ask her for our room keys as she said that the first person that checked in a few hours before we arrived had our keys which was not true and she did not even care to check the reservation before telling us that. She gave us the key cards, no slips or anything. We arrived at around 6:30pm on august 1st. We had different flights but we definitely did not feel welcomed by her. When we got to the lobby we told her that a person in our group had already checked in that’s when she told us that that person should have our room keys (mind you that it was a total of 5 person just in one unit) she did not even ask for room number or names. Other than that we definitely liked the hotel.

Overall my stay was wonderful. My only commitment would be that the front desk staff could be more friendly and upbeat. The lady who checked me in was not at all welcoming.she did just enough to not be considered as rude. Each time I encountered someone at the desk they were just okay customer service-wise. Other than that the resort is beautiful and I will definitely be back. The valet staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel in general is very clean. Spacious and had great customer care. They made sure we were well taken care of before they took the next guest. Our balconey overlooked the outdoor pool and hot tub, in which, also had a view of the Marina. It was beautiful. I was blown away by how much space the room and bathroom had. I would definitely recommend staying hear.

There was no free breakfast at all. Breakfast was very good but a long way from free. Room, staff, restaurants etc. were all very nice. We had only two minor issues. First, the lighting in our Jr. Suite was poor. Second, one of the doors on the TV cabinet was broken so it could not be closed and there was very limited space to store clothing, etc. That said, we loved this place and will go back!

Very peaceful, clean, elegant hotel experience! Absolutely amazed by the organization and hospitality of this hotel! The private beach access was phenomenal , however The only exception is beach cafe should have better food and beverage options to give a true 5 star experience. Hence, the walk in shower leaked really bad onto the surrounding floor space. Other than that I will definitely return back.
