Second time staying here, rooms are nice. The entrance in the back is still broken, you don't need your card to get into the hotel, not a good situation. The pool is very nice.

Bottom line, three strikes and you’re out. Stayed here twice last summer. Had issues both times and guess what? STILL HAVE THE SAME ISSUES! Door to building is still broken despite me speaking directly with manager last year and getting his assurance that “safety is a priority” and it will be fixed. Still has black mold in the shower. Cleanliness of room is a bit better but still obviously being done by people who don’t care. People still openly smoking marijuana and hanging out in parking lot. Broken down cars in parking lot (not a good ok). Had I been traveling with anyone we would have gotten a refund and gone to another hotel because I would not have felt safe having them on property. This place obviously just wants your money and cares NOTHING about safety or cleanliness. Pay a little more to stay somewhere nicer.

I stayed here a few weeks ago, and decided, against my better judgement, to give them another chance. Definitely should have followed my instincts. Room as not properly cleaned (smears on everything, visible dirt on carpet, sink not clean, and black mold on the shower curtain). Spoke with one of the housekeepers who looked at me like "how dare you bother me" and did nothing to address the issues. Left messages with desk to have manager contact me and have yet to hear anything so either they care as little as the staff or the staff will not delivered the message. Random people hanging out in parking lot drinking and smoking marijuana. Two tractor trailers in parking lot taking up most of the limited parking (same as last visit so their assurance that it would be addressed obviously did not happen). And to top off the lack of safety, the exit door by the pool does not lock and has not for 2 days. I told front desk about it on day 1 and they simply responded "we know. someone will fix it" and yet nothing has been done. Surprised? NOPE! Granted this is considered a "budget motel" but even "budget motels" should care about things like basic security and customer service. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else. These guys simply do not care!

Back door from parking lot does not lock, so even if you don't have a key anyone can walk in. Bathroom was dirty

The elevator makes a terrible noise when you go up, like you aren’t going to make it. The baseboards are ripped up all over. The carpets on the second floor are bumpy and dirty. The key to the room worked half the time. When we walked in the bathroom there was a huge dead bug in the floor. Like they just sprayed before we went in. There was a store bought humidifier in the corner running. Which concerned us why they needed a humidifier in our room. The bathtub drain and around the tub was so moldy. It look like they sprayed the tub with paint white over the mold. The water pressure was low. The light bulbs flickered. We had to continue our stay because everywhere else was booked. The beds were comfortable and seemed clean. So that was the best part.

It was very convenient to the House of Blues. It is easy to get in and out of, plenty of parking, felt very safe. Its older but our room was very clean. Beds were great. Everything worked perfectly. Can't say enough about the staff! Girl at the front desk needs to teach the rest of the world hiw to be friendly and nice. She was AWESOME!!

This room was definitely a smoking room in its past life. As soon as you walk in it smells awful. Otherwise it was the only available place for when we going to Myrtle beach. Location is good. Elevator terrifying.

Greeted warmly and check-in was handled quickly and efficiently. Received a 1st floor room as I had requested. Building and room were immaculate and very clean, although the 1st floor hallway carpeting looked a bit worn. Parking lot was spacious and well-lit. Located with 2 miles of the theater that I was planning to visit. Would highly recommend it.

Good for a night or two lay your head. Hotel is starting to show its age but for the price it was good. Rooms were clean and staff was proffesional and helpful with any questions we had. The pool to be clean and maintained as well.

The place was clean , staff was great. Lots of parking pool was clean and not crowded. It was a pleasant stay

Room had mildew smell , bathtub looked like had not been cleaned

We aren’t very picky when it comes to our hotels as long as they’re clean and this place was definitely not clean. It looked nothing like the pictures online. Our room (202) smelled like cigarettes and very moldy and musty smelling. The carpet was damp feeling and very hard/oily/sticky feeling. Our socks were absolutely disgusting after we walked around without shoes on for a few minutes. There was trash underneath the beds. The freezer had not been cleaned out and there was melted ice cream in there that had been in there quite a while. We did not notify staff at first. We were not impressed with the cleanliness of the lobby upon checking in and we’re just going to try and make the best of it. We ended up leaving a day early because we could not take the smell any longer.We told the lady at the front desk when we checked out why we were leaving a day early. We were not refunded for our day we didn’t stay.

The room that we were given smell a cigarettes carpet dirty, curtains dirty. Huge stain in the sheets yellow color. Hair inside the pillow case. We complained about it and we got switched to another room that was better but of course I had to checked the sheets on the bed. Elevators were not clean. The only good of my stay was the breakfast it wasn’t bad.

Good location, friendly staff, but room had stains all over headboard and lampshades.

This hotel has roaches and I had to change rooms due to the weird shape of the bathtub. It felt unsafe.

The rooms were very musty smelling, carpets felt wet, the room door was very hard to open and close. I have stayed before in winter and it was fine.

Everything was good except water pressure in the shower which was very weak

Decent enough room and comfortable enough. The property could use some updates though, housekeeping didn't do much, just changed out towels. Overall a decent stay.

The beds were so comfortable

The hotel was nice but the restroom was not very taken care of I stepped into the tub to take a shower and immediately fell backwards into the toilet which was pushed about 3 inches from me falling on it. I called the front desk and asked for a shower mat due to the slippery mess of the shower and they brought me a bath mat

Bed was uncomfortably firm. I got about five hours of sleep due to a very hard mattress

The hotel was very clean even though it was older. Staff was very friendly. The only draw back was absolutely no water pressure in the tub or shower.

Stay was good with the exception of location of room. It was “Bike Week” (motorcycles) in Myrtle Beach. They booked us up front room, next to the main highway #17. The roar of the motorcycles sounded liked they were driving through our room. Thank God for earplugs and my husbands c- pap machine.

Bathtub has a noticable curved botton, hard to stand. I almost fell while showering.

Nice hotel at a decent price - room was quiet and beds were comfy so I will definitely stay here again when the opportunity presents itself.

Hotel was clean, rooms were clean and bed was very comfortable. The highlight of our stay was the staff! We areived earlier than check-in time and were allowed to check in with no problem. We were greeted with top knotch hospitality and smiling faces. GOOD Customer service is rare these days.

The staff at the front desk were incredibly helpful and friendly. The kitchen staff too, breakfast was very good and overall a pleasant stay. It's a basic motel but the 5 star staff make it outstanding 🌟

Checkout isn’t until 11am. But that won’t keep the cleaning staff from walking into your room unannounced and WITHOUT knocking. 3 times, not just once. Times ranged between 8am and 9:30a. Are you serious???

Staff was very friendly and took care of all our needs promptly. Room was very clean! Front desk clerk was extremely courtesy and professional.

4th time staying here. No complaints Staff was friendly and efficient, room was comfortable and clean.

Or bathroom had mold in the corner and the carpet is very stained and dirty. Had a bad experience with the girl that works late at night. Rude and not helpful. The girl who checked us in was very nice.

Short walk to beach, dinning and shopping

Reasonable rate, free breakfast (cereal, waffles, eggs), close proximity to dining, shopping, attractions.

Great place to stay. Two blocks to the ocean.

I loved the location (just a short walk to the beach). The breakfast needed some help and the coffee was awful. However, the staff were very nice and very responsive to the needs of the guest.

One of the male staff was helpful . He let us know where the best Jamaican restaurant. It was awesome. The other staff was pleasant and very helpful. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was okay. The location was awesome. We will visit again

I did not like the breakfast bar. The sausage was sitting in a 1/2in of grease and the fried eggs looked dried. i am not able to eat the pancakes or sweet stuff.

Breakfast was terrible, dried-out eggs and sausages, no condiments, no orange juice, rude attendant with a care-less attitude. All other staff were friendly, cheery and helpful. Good location.

This hotel was good for a one night stay. There were some very nice workers who were helpful and kind. The continental breakfast needs a few for options for juices, a hot cereal, and pastries. Variety is the spice of life and there should be something for everyone.
