This felt like a dangerous area. There were homeless people about and inside and out was nasty. There were NO amenities like soap or lotions. Also had charged my credit card and wouldn’t change to cash payment. Limited hours that office is open.

The office personnel told me that these units are used to house shoplifters awaiting trial. There are kids running through the parking lot in small herds, making it unsafe to drive. The mattress is perhaps the lowest quality mattress I’ve ever felt. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. If I wasn’t armed I’d probably leave.

The property was dirty. The room was falling apart. The microwave was broke 1 of the stove burners was out the cabinets were falling off the hinges. The tub had a running facets would not turn off the dresser bottom drawer would not close. Loud music all day and night and people were just loud and not thinking about anyone else trying to sleep

The abandoned vehicles on property were enough for us to want to leave….. the place was run down and extremely dirty……the shower was dirty and mixer valve broken….. beds were dirty…the tv didn’t work…. The room door lock was a struggle to get it to lock once in the room….is there a rating of zero stars? This property wins …..

It was a nightmare and if you're on a fixed income you are stuck until your next social security check. They lied about having a handicap accessible room, The beds have broken springs causing my chronic back pain to render me stuck in it. The toilet leaks from no caulking presenting the smell of urine, when flushed black streaks stained the bowl and the shower ran constantly.There was zero security, the manager Carson blamed FEMA for the conditions. Trash is everywhere on the property with one pile on the end of the second floor of building A remaining there for seven days before it was finally removed. Maintenance and housekeeping dont start until roughly 3 pm which means they only work 4 hours this is because the office is only open from 11am to 7pm. The smell of Marijuana coming from the rooms is overwhelming. You can only get fresh lenin on Thursdays at 2 which is ridiculous. Our Lyft driver told us it's a known drug hangout in Spartanburg. This location needs a massive overhaul beginning with management. Maybe then it can be restored to the reputation that Redroof inns have worked hard to establish.

After arriving at the hotel, I realized that the hotel is not in the best of locations. There was no one in the office. I waited for a while but no one every showed up. There was a vehicle in the parking lot with all windows bust out. I didn't even check in. I forfeited the $$ and went to another hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Dont even consider this place, stayed in 100's of places around the world, never saw anything like this. Wife walked in, knew in seconds to pull the plug. Dirty , poor repair didnt have time to look buf the bedbugs and cockroaches had already walked out on their own accord

I could not stay here - it was clear that they allowed smoking in the rooms, room was very dirty and counter had burn marks from drug use inside. Walking in the room triggered an asthma attack. Only positive was that they quickly refunded me.

The room was the most disgusting I have ever stayed in. Paint was peeling, cabinets were warped and cracking, bathtub base was pulling away from the tub, counter was stained, sheets were stained, no soap in the bathroom, and no cups or glasses to drink from. I was afraid to drink, take a shower, or sleep. Also, there was no safety lock on the door. If it wasn’t so late, I would have left, eaten the loss, and gone elsewhere. I don’t know how much of this is a function of poor Red Roof oversight, or the dumpster fire that is Spartanburg. But bottom line is Expedia should be embarrassed to offer this property.

Old property, lots of permanent guests that make noise all night but overall a clean comfortable stay overall. There were pennies on the floor in our bathroom and bedroom? Which was odd and makes me think the room wasn't carefully cleaned but the beds were very clean and comfortable. TV and fridge worked. Convenient to where I was working. The office isn't open after 7PM but when I called the after hours number, the woman responded quickly and got us checked in

This is a last resort kind of stay. Extremely hood and ghetto. You smell marjiuana smoke everywhere outside and coming through the walls. Walls are paper thin you hear everything. Mattress was so wore out like sleeping on a cot. I thought the air conditioner was gone blow up it was so loud. Horrible

The kitchen sink had a rapid drip and filled a 12 ounce cup in a matter of minutes. Despite multiple attempts to stop the drip, it continued all night. To stop the noise, a cup was placed in the sink and when it filled up the noise stopped and we were able to sleep. The room also smelt heavily of cigarette smoke. Despite lots of FABREEZE on the sheets and pillows, the smell was strong and we were never able to cover it up. Overall the room was clean and usable, but needed some LOVE for sure.

If I had a choice in the matter, I would've never chosen to stay here. This was the only place within 75 miles of my home that had availability after Hurricane Helene and with limited access to gas, I couldn't travel far. It served the purpose of having a full size fridge and small kitchenette with a 2 burner stove and sink so I was able to save most of my food from home. The actual room is so dirty and smelled of weed as soon as you walked in. There are ROACHES everywhere! It's absolutely disgusting! I was so ready to get the hell out of here. It doesn't seem that safe but never had an issue with any other occupants or the staff. Just extremely noisy which caused issues as I was still needing to work the week I was here. Dogs were barking in the room next to me. Thankfully they had decent wifi so I didn't have much loss of wages because I was able to work while I stayed here. I just hated it was so nasty and didn't want to touch any surfaces because of the roaches and filth. I had to clean everything myself before I trusted it. I couldn't wait to get back home and take a long hot bath!

I called at 11 am and spoke to a staff. I asked her if it was possible to check in early and pay extra. I was told to wait till 12 and she would know. I called while on the road at twelve and a male answersed the phone. I told him what i was told. He informed my bluntly that check in was at 4 pm and no one told me any different. I told him that the female i talked to said she would let me know. He said there is only two people at the desk and absolutely no one told me that. I informed him i could show him the time i called when i got there and he said he didmt need to see that and if i couldnt make checkin at four i could cancel. I called while on the road at twelve and a male answersed the phone. I told him what i was told. He informed my bluntly that check in was at 4 pm and no one told me any different. I told him that the female i talked to said she would let me know. He said there is only two people at the desk and absolutely no one told me that. I informed him i could show him the time i called when i got there and he said he didmt need to see that and if i couldnt make checkin at four i could cancel. This was by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed. The entire room was flooded. The bedding was soaking wet. The shower sprayed everywhere but the tub. The clerk didn’t care at all. I informed them that we could t stay in the room and she said “that’s fine. I can’t refund you”. Then she hung up on me.

After arriving at the hotel, I realized that the hotel is not in the best of locations. There was no one in the office. I waited for a while but no one every showed up. There was a vehicle in the parking lot with all windows bust out. I didn't even check in. I forfeited the $$ and went to another hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This felt like a dangerous area. There were homeless people about and inside and out was nasty. There were NO amenities like soap or lotions. Also had charged my credit card and wouldn’t change to cash payment. Limited hours that office is open.

Old property, lots of permanent guests that make noise all night but overall a clean comfortable stay overall. There were pennies on the floor in our bathroom and bedroom? Which was odd and makes me think the room wasn't carefully cleaned but the beds were very clean and comfortable. TV and fridge worked. Convenient to where I was working. The office isn't open after 7PM but when I called the after hours number, the woman responded quickly and got us checked in

The place was absolutely terrible. The room reeked of cigarettes and marijuana. There were people walking around acting shady. We felt very unsafe. We stayed less than 5 minutes in the room before we left to find a better hotel.

It was a nightmare and if you're on a fixed income you are stuck until your next social security check. They lied about having a handicap accessible room, The beds have broken springs causing my chronic back pain to render me stuck in it. The toilet leaks from no caulking presenting the smell of urine, when flushed black streaks stained the bowl and the shower ran constantly.There was zero security, the manager Carson blamed FEMA for the conditions. Trash is everywhere on the property with one pile on the end of the second floor of building A remaining there for seven days before it was finally removed. Maintenance and housekeeping dont start until roughly 3 pm which means they only work 4 hours this is because the office is only open from 11am to 7pm. The smell of Marijuana coming from the rooms is overwhelming. You can only get fresh lenin on Thursdays at 2 which is ridiculous. Our Lyft driver told us it's a known drug hangout in Spartanburg. This location needs a massive overhaul beginning with management. Maybe then it can be restored to the reputation that Redroof inns have worked hard to establish.

This hotel was a disaster from the beginning. Its office hours are 11am - 7pm. I had to call someone to be able to check in! It had a big warning sign on the office window that if you backed in to your parking space you would be towed! My room only had two lights on the wall as I think the main light on the ceiling had been replaced with a smoke alarm. The room was very dim as one of the 2 lights was only 25 watts. None of the sinks or bathtub had a drain stopper. It had a full size refrigerator, but some of the shelves were missing and there was no ice in the freezer. There was only a bar of soap in the bathroom. There was trash on the outside walkway and an under construction sign on the second floor. It was so bad that I checked out after the first day of a 3 day stay and found another motel. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Do not stay there!
