Comfort Suites At WestGate Mall

Check in staff was rude and acted as if doing me a favor. Desk personnel mumbled making it extremely difficult to hear over blaring rap music and water feature. Room 119 smelled terrible like a wet dog. Excessive noise from HVAC so we requested another room. Was told that wasn’t an option so we gathered our things and were ready to leave when another desk person “checked with her boss “ to get us another room. Confirmed room change and moved us to 103. Also reaked of dog. Pet friendly dog policy needs revisited with staff and cleaning crew! Rude, inattentive behavior of desk personnel needs addressed. Sorry Spartanburg Comfort Inn, but we won’t be staying with you in the future. Terrible decision on my part and a poor $160 decision on my part compared to other Comfort Inns I’ve stayed in. Motel 6 here I come!

Toilet was dirty, toilet handle was broken and breakfast was less than. Air conditioning was loud like a plane taking off. Shower fixtures need replacing

Staff was not very welcoming. And seemed surprised when I told them we had a pet, though I had specified pet friendly; they weren’t very. Bed was comfortable, but VERY high! Difficult for a short person to get in.

Nice hotel, large room, I would stay again
