The hot tub and sauna were the best part of this hotel! Stayed two nights - 2 different rooms because the bed was awful. The girl working over night both nights did not say a word to me when I checked in. I might still be standing there if I wouldn’t have initiated the process! She looked and acted completely disengaged from the fact that she was the face of this hotel. When I asked if there were any rooms with newer beds she told me I was “talking to the wrong person” (she was the only one there) When I called back and decided to extent my stay (because of hot tub) she said “you want to stay in a hotel that doesn’t have a comfortable bed?” Honestly- the real answer is no! I would not ever stay there again. I found a much a better place for the 3rd night. So if you want a great pool area with a nice hot tub and decent sauna, this a good choice. If you want a good nights sleep OR a comfortable bed or polite staff- this is not the place for that.

The entire facility was clean. The pool area was nice with a hot tub and sauna to use. Breakfast had many options and the grocery store was a walk across a parking lot. The owner was on premises and working right along side of her employees and very helpful and friendly

This Best Western was very clean and pleasant. The only rooms I would not recommend are the ones near the ice machine, because you can hear it from inside your room. The breakfast, which was included with our stay was awesome (eggs, sausages, make your own waffles, pastries, cereals, yogurts) We also took advantage of their heated indoor pool for a morning swim. Very clean. This Best Western is located right next to a grocery store (Hy-Vee) which was very convenient before our drive.

The hotel itself is a no frills hotel, which we expected that with a Best Western. However, we expect the bathroom floor to be swept and free from hair from the previous person that stayed there. The top blanket/comforter had what looked like a couple burn marks. The guy at the front desk wasn't friendly, he was just there working. Lastly, above us were kids running most of the night with heavy footed adults.

The hotel was very clean, the room was immaculate. Service was great, check-in speedy. Very few negatives, only being nit-picky: only ice machine was downstairs. To get new towels and shower soap, we had to ask at the front desk. And I wished they had recycle bins for certain things. And those are about the only negative things I can think of. The next time we're in the area, often due to family there, we will stay there again with no hesitation.

We had a 3 day stay at this hotel and we were surprised to find the policy of this particular hotel was to do no housekeeping during a guests stay. Fresh towels and empty trash would have been nice. After I questioned this policy, housekeeping was done the day before we checked out.

Stayed almost a week. No housekeeping any day I was there. I was told they didn’t offer housekeeping every day but I expected at least one day my room would be cleaned. I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times ( not a lot of choices in a small town) service has gone downhill.

My room was clean, but very musty-smelling, like there had been no fresh air in it for a while. The bathroom has some cosmetic updates, but there is no bathroom counter. There is a tiny shelf over the toilet. Since there is no lid on the toilet, anything that falls off the little shelf falls right into the toilet. The bed pillows had been folded in half for some reason! and stuffed into regular pillow cases. I battled with what felt like throw pillows all night. A/C and refrigerator were very noisy.

Air conditioner had a hard time keeping up, it was extra hot out. The breakfast could have been a bit better for the hotel price. We were in room 207 and the shower had a constant drip, may want maintenance to look at that. Staff was friendly.

The only thing I dont like at this hotel is the electric heat exchanger in each room. It cycles erratically and will begin to startup and shut down after a couple seconds. It will do this repeatedly for several minutes. It is difficult to sleep when it goes into one of those cycles. I've stayed at this hotel several times and each room is the same. It is very annoying.

Very clean room. Only thing the desk chair was faux leather and the finish was peeling off. Breakfast was so so. Please add fresh pastries. I am fond with scrambled eggs and waffles.
