Baymont by Wyndham Sevierville Pigeon Forge

Poor to no internet. Staff not concerned. Started would restart and gave the internet service IT number instead of doing their job. Ice machine out of order with no interest in fixing or having checked. Machine function the day before. Requested for room not to be cleaned but occurred anyway. No “Do Not Disturb placard offered or available in room. Previous hotel by Wyndham was excellent including all staff.

The pool was not heated as stated

I specifically chose this hotel because it had a pool and hot tub. After I checked in I found out the pool was closed and the hot tub not working. I would have stayed somewhere else...

Room looked and smelled clean but Wi-Fi and fitness room should not be included in amenities.Breakfast was available but limited and very tight space.It was cost friendly so no major problems.

Room was clean. Except for a few light bulbs missing everything was in working order. The little breakfast area is kind of lame. Pool/seating nice.

The staff was kind. The pool was open late. Our kids had a blast making waffles. Will stay again.

The water pressure was amazing! Our bed was soft. The air conditioner worked great. The pool was well maintained. The breakfast area was really cramped and everything was almost always out when we came down. I would not recommend booking if you plan on eating breakfast there every morning.

What a mistake! Portrayed as Baymont Hotel,reality Baymont branded.Cant believe Baymont would associate their name w/such low quality.Told 2 take our own trash 2 dumpster by housekeep 1st morning;limited brkfast - few cups yogurt,stale cereal & bread 4 toast 1st morn-dislike waffles cant comment on batter,if any avail,didnt return 4 brkfast. 3rd fl rm-instructed 2 elevator.Hesitated elevator looked from a horror movie.Shwer inconsistent temp,lukewarm,best.bthrm walls drty,bthrom flr drty.Requested lower flr rm 4 hlth issues & w/ elevator rm was a distance. wait in office few mins b4 staf came 2 ask 4 diff rm,she hesitated & would call rm(no phone in rm)when 1 avail,then fnd 1.2nd rm grnd lvl,bug in bthtub,smell musty-old & dirty-trouble breathing & worse 4 me w/heart &lung issues,coffeemaker lid both rms broken,pkg soap ws open.Soap/shamp/cond jugs in shwer mt,dirty.Beam outside grnd flr rm broken held w/wood strips &thin metal straps.1day water was off approx 4 hrs 4 construction,were not notified-went 2 office 4 concern,told wouldnt b long.Construction crew said planned pipe update-expected rm 2 b mt.Shwer cold/luke-warm,made it difficult/uncomfortable.Return rm key, staf yelled frm upper lvl 2 leave key on counter.Best,other than locality: firepit&pool.Beds uncomfortable;woke w/extreme sore backs;curtains were held 2gether w/safety pins both rms.Ice machine was mt,couldnt find supposed lndry rm,when inquired, waited in office 10 minutes no1 came. DONT recommend&Wont return

We turned on the heat it smelled like it was on fire. It smoked so bad we had to open the doors and the fire alarm went off. We had our grandkids, and our granddaughter has a very bad heart condition. She was terrified, the room smelled horrible. They would not exchange our room. So, we had to leave the door open half the night to get the smell out of the room. The breakfast was horrible nothing for babies. The pool was dirty.

I’ll start with the positives-the location is close to a lot of amenities, the beds were comfortable, and the weekend rates were comparable to most other hotels in the area. Unfortunately the list of negatives is a bit more lengthy. First of all, our room was not clean. It had a smell of stale cigarettes and some other unidentified “funk” even though it was a non smoking room. There was a dirty sock on the floor from a previous occupant, the shower had quite a bit of hair and debris in it, as well as the toilet seat and bathroom floor. The bedding had staining on the pillow cases which is pretty off-putting,but otherwise seemed clean. The pool was less than clean, and had a plastic trash bag floating around in it. Customer service was a bit lacking and impersonal. We decided to tack on an extra day to our trip, and the day before our original check in date called to ask if we could add a night (for that night.) We we’re told that they couldn’t alter the reservation since it was a third-party booking, but could do a new separate booking for the extra night. Essentially we would stay in one room for the extra night, then “check out” and go to a different room for the remainder of our stay. Which we were fine with/grateful for the flexibility. So the morning after our first&extra night, we packed up and went to the front desk to switch out rooms as instructed, and the lady looked at my husband like he had 4 heads and asked why we were doing that. 😂

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Floor was wet. Entire room had a moldy/mildewy smell. Damage throughout the room. Mold in the corner of the room. Holes in the bathroom door. Badly stained chair in the room. Surfaces were dirty. Do not stay here!

Air vent had mold growing out of it almost looked like mushrooms. Curtains and bed sheets were stained. Carpet was not vacuumed. Ac unit was at its lowest and room was hotter than outside. We left the room within 15 minutes.

After only being there for less than 2 hours 3 cockroaches crawled openly across the walls very dirty and unsanitary refuse to sleep there left wasted 70 bucks to drive 4 hrs back home after being awake over 24 hrs

This was an extremely dirty hotel. It was infested with roaches and upon checking in within 5 to 10 minutes bugs crawling from behind the television and on the wall walls, My Son set his food on the table and with in minutes he saw a roach climbing across his tacos. My daughter and her friend sit on the bed and had bits on the legs. I notified the staff of the infestation and what she said it wasn’t the first she had heard of. I was not given a refund for tonight. Stay of 320 dollars and will be taking legal action. Hotels.com knowing of the issue and me not staying there also refused to reimburse my money. I would not suggest this side either sending people to establishment like this.

Blood all over elevator and cockroach as soon as we walked in the room

The place was dirty beyond belief. Every crack a roach would come out. Slept 4 hours and left as soon as we could. Would never stay again

I understand that this is a cheaper hotel. That’s what we were looking and paying for. Just a place to sleep and not empty the bank. BUT it was discusting. ROACHES were in both of the rooms our family stayed at, and not just one but I killed at least 10-15 and those are just the ones that I saw. I told the person at the desk and they said they were aware and know about the roaches. If that wasn’t enough the rooms stunk, sheets had stains on them and the showers were incredibly hard to figure out and were rusty and paint peeling off the ceiling inches about your head. Can’t wait to get home and take a shower. Will be leaving the luggage outside for days to assure no roaches come inside our home.

Overall good! I’d stay there again. The WiFi was horrible. Could have been because of rain I’m not sure. Could have been a little better but it was still good!

Tub does not work and the fire place does not work

I went with Baymont because of being connected to Wyndham. Oh how disappointed I was. I video the room because of i didnt want to be extra charged for the condition of the room. I got a king size room with jacuzzi tub. Didnt use the tub because I was afraid, i get someone ajax wouldn't get off. Tv, microwave, nor fridge didnt work. Plug ins didnt even charge my phone. The overall condition felt nasty.

Well the room was clean beds were comfy. Paid for a jacuzzi suit the one the first 2 nights was broke, no on an off switch. Had to change rooms the next day, no offer to help move our stuff no one even said sorry for the inconvenience staff was not friendly made me feel like I was asking to much to get another room. Breakfast area so small 2 people in there and there's no room to move. No fresh fruit no hot cereal was not what I consider a good breakfast. pool was nice clean area was enjoying swimming when lawn care came in didn't say excuse us or anything trimmed shrubs that had poison ivy it then used blower blew stuff in the pool and on us. Then to our surprise the lawn people get into a yelling match in front of us . Not very professional on the older gentlemans part.So needless to say wasn't the best experience. Checking out never heard sorry for anything no mention of a credit for a none working jacuzzi. Actually had to return keys to laundry lady because no one was at the service desk

Internet kept going out. Lamp/light did not work, phone did not work We expected more for the price paid. Compare tp a Motel 6 with faukty equipment. Had to stay another night and price of the room doubled.

The tub was broken and a hard mat kept you from falling thru. Not safe.

Terrible smell and we were put next to the elevator on the first floor so was really noisy.

Went to check in a few minutes before 3pm , check in is 3. The room I booked wasn't available anymore on the ground floor even though that's what was booked. Put on the 3rd floor right in front of the elevator so it was noisy and busy. No smoking in rooms but smoking in front of the rooms so smoke goes back into the room . Not good for people with breathing problems. Breakfast is weak, eggs not good tasting neither is the waffle mix. Juice wasn't good neither. Room was good except no hair dryer even though it was supposed to have one. At check in, already had paid for the reservation, they still wanted a $150.00 deposit. Average to below average stay.

Room had an odor from being closed up. Had to spray Lysol to help with odor. Room needed a lot of repairs but it was comfortable

Hotel was about what I'd expect for the price. It was obvious that the room wasn't deep cleaned, as there was actually loose change laying in the corner. The gas fireplace was a nice touch, but it would have been nicer if there was a way to control it, rather than just having the pilot light on. The in room jacuzzi tub was amazing, however, and perfect to relax in after a long day walking around Dollywood. Front desk staff were nice enough. The "breakfast" left something to be desired however. Won't be my first choice when I come back, but definitely not blacklisted either.

Pulled in to stay here, walked into the front office and was met with attitude and an uncomfortable atmosphere. Since we had to wait to get into the room we looked around the parking lot and compared to other hotels we’ve stayed in, it just seemed not well kept. In our time waiting we checked reviews and found a lot of things we were not ok with. I can’t comment on the actual rooms because after the encounter up front and reading the reviews we decided to not even try staying here and booked another hotel down the road. No refund since it was after check in time but not worth the risk we wanted to take.

Worst place i have stayed at the front desk worker,she was really rude when i told them my key wasn't working an so each time i needed to enter my room they had to come unlock it for some reason which made our trip horrible.

Thr staff was extreamly rude! The pic looks ALOT better than the property really looks. Their kids was very loud all hrs of the day & night disturbing everyone. I would NOT reccommend staying here to ANYONE.

The room was a little dated, and that was ok. However they only cleaned the room on our 1st night and nothing after. If you want clean towels you have exchange them at the front desk.

Desk clerk was not friendly. Being a customer seemed like an inconvenience to her.

Very bad managed hotel. We booked through Expedia. When check in they want me to give them $150 cash as deposit. But this is nowhere to find in the booking confirmation. I offer them to charge my credit card simply because I do not have the money. They refused. So I can not stay in this hotel. But they also do not allow me to cancel. The hotel won twice!!! This is a total scam. Who carries $150 cash with you every!!!!

Lady at desk rude

Placed us in an occupied room first, then in a room where the sink was broken, literally falling out of the counter. Was originally told by nightshift that i would be able to come back down in morning and would recieve a full refund. In the morning, the woman was extremely rude and said she woukd only give $10 back on the card, still have not seen this measly credit.

The front desk was extremely unpleasant the entire time; they seemed like they hated their job and hated that I was even there. They didn’t smile. They were rude whenever we had questions. They double-charged me for a fee after I asked them about it. They called our room unprompted at 8am to ask if we needed room service. Very unpleasant people to talk to and bad experience all around. The room had dirty towels and a dirty shower; both had bugs in them. The coffee maker didn’t work. We were not told about the pool hours or the breakfast times. Not to mention our first night was only 30 dollars and our second night was 130 dollars. Would not recommend to anyone unless you have no other options.

Good location relative to the interstate, but on the north end away from the action of the strip. The bathtub held water (didn't drain well), the desk chair was askew, the complementary breakfast was lackluster. BUT for the price paid, it was a safe/clean place to crash for the night.

Property was good for the price paid. Customer service was great, hotel is very well located. Pool was nice. Rooms were average, but clean. Breakfast was fine but little options and small room so it was often very crowded, and only had one waffle machine so we had to wait 20-30 minutes to be able to get waffles made. Otherwise you get what you pay for but we can’t complain, it was clean and comfortable.

Although it smelled bad in the office, check in was easy and the front desk lady was nice. The room was fine, nothing fancy, it was clean and served our needs for a weekend trip. Only complaints would be the shower water was backwards for hot and cold, the bathtub drained super slow so you’d stand in water while showering and the toilet acted like it could barely flush but those weren’t big issues. Location was convenient and close enough to attractions, shops and restaurants.

The hotel was inexpensive, located on the less busier end of the Parkway, safe, mostly families with children; close to restaurants, Dollar Tree and Walmart; strong air conditioner and room had refrigerator. Negatives were a small bathroom dated, worn front door and worn shower curtain rod. The benefits outweighed the negatives.

Good location. Easy drive to most attractions. Breakfast is very basic.

In the middle of everything in pigeon forge pretty much. Shopping plaza on the back side of the hotel (dollar tree, dollar general as well as Belk, etc.) and its hidden so you wouldn't know its even there. Its in walking distance to the (river boardwalk) dwn the street, which is a nice walk with your loved one!! Great cold air in room, room smells clean... walk ways and areas all clean on property. Breakfast juice was actually great and fresh fruit plus some eggs and waffles. Nothing fancy on the breakfast. For as big as it is... it was actually quiet at night. People who gave this place bad reviews probably didnt get their way. This is my go to place anytime that im in town!! Definitely recommend!! Great staff as well~ Room #357

The breakfast consists of bread with a toaster that doesnt work. Watered down eggs. Instant oatmeal that you had to get them get you hot water to make it. If you were lucky, the elevator wouldnt get stuck. A/C in the room barely worked. Hair dryer was melted. There was mold in the shower and a bar of soap from the previous person. The people were nice that worked there. Overall the place was more like a run down building in need of alot of repair. We won't be staying there again. Only reason I gave 2 stars, is because the people were nice. I will not recommend.

Parking was easy, the lock to the bathroom door was on the outside of the door, the staff were not friendly at all. The breakfast food was not good, cereal was stale.

The pictures they have posted online for the exterior are not the same as the hotel you stay in. The breakfast is very very slim.
