Very easy check in. Nice clean room Heated pool was wonderful

Pool was not open. Exercise room had broken equipment. Place looked tired.

All was great except the main reason I booked this property was the pool & hot tub. The hot tub was out of commission & looked like it had been out a while.

The swimming pool is shut because they are doing a complete rehab. Love staying here!

Great room. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were clean. Parking was a little tight. Handicapped parking was regular parking with the wheelchair sign on it. Not good for handicapped people that need the extra space to get in and out of a vehicle.

The property could use TLC overall, but the rooms were really clean, breakfast was great especially for kids. And the pool was nice, disappointing that the area where the hot tub was, was completely covered over as we enjoyed that during a previous stay.

The indoor pool was nice, clean, water was warm, however it had the slickest tile all around the pool. We had a 3 yr. old and a 5 yr. old and they both slipped several times. We were constantly reminding them to walk slowly. I'm 72 and almost fell several times. Once the tile gets wet it is very slick. Looks like a lawsuit in the making!

The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. The elevator was not in service and we were not told when we booked it. The ice machine on the first floor was also out of service. The rooms are only cleaned every 3 days, no type of cleaning done until then. No beds made, no trash emptied. If you need more than 2 towels during those 3 days you must get them at the front desk. Sketchy looking people were wandering around outside and it made me feel unsafe. Would not recommend nor will we be staying there again.

Everything was great! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms were updated and clean. Pool was great for the kids! Cons: Wifi weak, at least on our top floor, and we were always being bumped off. Ice macine not working on our floor. I highly recommend this hotel 😊

Bathrooms needed to be cleaned better, some towels need to be replaced, a few stains on the comforter, toilet ran randomly through the night, and filters on the ac unit need to be cleaned or replaced.

My 1st room smelled like stale urine. My 2nd room had roaches and the carpet was so filthy I had to wipe my feet before getting into the bed. It took 2 trips to the front desk to get the tv andvremote hokked up and working properly. When i asked why my room wasnt cleaned on the 2nd day of my stay, I was informed they only clean occupied rooms by request yet I wasnt notified of this policy upon check in.

This room had a horrible smell, perhaps the carpet needs to be replaced, it was horrible, and some light bulbs did not work, kot good..

It was not terrible and we had no trouble with the staff. It was just really old and there were two bugs in the bathroom which made me not want to walk around barefoot.

Everything was well taken care of. Nice staff, clean room. Was happy with how large the room was and all the amenities. Only down side, a little too expensive.

The room was clean- Though my view was to the back of the entrance roof, which you could see was sagging and about to fall, so that needs attention. The shower head had very low pressure. So much that I had to take a bad to feel like I was getting the soap off. In taking a bath I noticed black mold around the tile line of bath to tile. The vent fan did not work. The breakfast that was offered was less than I expected and there was limited variety, and I was down earlier than most guest. I came back an hour later to see if maybe I was too early, and it was still lacking. Left and went and got breakfast out. But I was satisfied with my stay. I was greeted by a very pleasant young lady on the Wednesday night I checked in. I wish I would have got her name, but she is an asset to your company and was very welcoming.

In Room 305, the bathroom door was extremely hard to open and close and did not lock. Stayed two nights and the room was not cleaned in between and there was no signs that said you had to ask for it. Decent price but was a little run down.

Comfortable bed. shower appeared to have a prior leak and was patched sloppily, which allowed grime to collect on the seems. Breakfast variety good. Check-in was easy. Front lobby floor mat was threadbare and frayed which almost tripped me. Yes, we would stay there again.

Easy check-in and check-out. Room was quiet and comfortable. Wi-Fi wasn't the best while working from my room on Friday.

Exhaust fan was extremely noisy and did not work well. Bed was not comfortable. Hotel is getting very dated, needs a remodel / refresh.

Good clean room. The lighting in the bathroom was not enough. My wife said she could not see well enough to apply her make up!

While the room was OK, it is showing wear--not typical for Comfort Inns I have stayed in the past 10+ years. My biggest issue was the lack of training and monitoring of housekeeping staff. It seems they can just do whatever with any item accidentally left behind. I'm retired and on fixed income, so even this funeral memorial trip is taxing on us, so while some don't care about items left, WE DO. When staff found items in the fridge that we left (we might have even still been in town) they should have made EVERY effort to contact me, but this was not done. And when I discovered down the road what I left, I called and gave a local friends phone # also to get them. Guess what; they checked the WRONG room, even though they had my name and room number. When front staff checked the actual room later, nothing was remaining and NO records of what happened. I left about $20 worth in the fridge that we would have used at home. That's not the real issue though, my issue is with staff and training. Even low paid staff have requirements in my world--AND I worked in hotel/lodge environments as a working manager, helping where needed. My staff was held accountable, and we all knew what impressed customers and what caused complaints or loss of business. Even your staffs promise that staff would be contacted this following morning was evidently ignored. After this, I see no alternative but to look to find another place for future visits that may care about customers.

My husband, our three children and I stayed here when we csme for my son's baseball state tournament. The employees were wonderful and so helpful. The keys kept not working and we needed new ones too often, but the workers were so happy to help at all times. Definitely would recommend staying here if you have kiddos.

The staff was very nice and the evening receptionist was very friendly and gave us some great recommendations on where to eat along with directions.

From the time of check- in was a red flag. Sign at the desk that someone was there and ring bell. Rang twice and waited 10 minutes and called the hotel where a lady ran to the phone and I said it’s me calling. Evidently she was maid and front desk. Pleasant but dressed in sweats and Tshirt each day we saw her, and I asked to join the rewards club and she had no clue how to do it and evidently new on check in. Stayed 3 nights and card stopped working after two and had to wait since same lady was only staff. Breakfast was good. Hairdryer did not work and asked for another and they had no more. Next day asked again and no one purchased anymore. Huge Cockroach in bathroom Saturday night. We come to Brownwood often but last stay here.

Nothing that would blow you away but nice, clean hotel at a fair price. Staff was very nice and hot breakfast a bonus. Dining area was well attending and kept clean. Bed sheets and pillow above average for hotel stays and at lease on part with Marriott and Hilton hotels. AC cycled on & off too much on the auto setting we used. Only one small elevator but adequate and hotel was full. I would stay here again.

The breakfast was a real disappointment. We stayed 2 nights. The first morning there was hardly anything to eat! The front desk lady got up and fixed more after a man and his child came in and found nothing…. We didn’t even try the next morning. There were no vending machines for snacks. The front desk said they were working on it…

The hotel is an older establishment, but it is very well kept. From check in to check out everything was wonderful. The staff was helpful and friendly, the room was nice and clean, and the breakfast was very good. The breakfast had several options including bacon and eggs.

I like the air conditioner! It stays on, blocking out most of the outside noise and all of inside noise! And it works great! The complimentary breakfast was delicious; especially the biscuits!!!

Breakfast was the only problem. They seem to not have enough breakfast to service guest. They were always out of items. The staff was excellent.
