Very convenient stay if you have a concert to go to at the stadium. It was walkable and easy to get to. The place is nice and clean, just a little outdated. Over all comfortable.

It was old. The AC worked when it felt like it. The walk to our room was very far from the front door and all side doors were locked. We went to try and buy something from the little store they had next to the front desk and no one even acknowledged us. The bathroom in the room was tiny. There was no microwave in the room like the “welcome call” said. The door to the patio in our room didn’t close all the way so we kept seeing insects. Overall the only thing I liked about this hotel was the location. Other than that I would never stay here again and I suggest you don’t either.

#1 - check in took close to 30 minutes #2 - was charged $30 for parking, front desk said they always charge parking for customers with room reservations when there is a concert next door at NRG arena, I want my $30 back and I do not care if it comes from the hotel or hotels.com #3 - no refrigerator in room(?) #4 - no breakfast, because there was a concert the prior night next door (?) #5 - would not recommend anyone stay at a Windham or their attached sister hotel Windgate

Upon entering the hotel the lobby looked decent. At the check-in desk there was a sign advising they do not rent to locals. When I entered the area that led to the elevator the aesthetics changed. The elevator was small and cramped. The hallways could use a fresh paint job. Once in the room I noticed I could see the light from the hallway through the door, the lock on the door would not lock and the latch was loose. The bathroom is extremely small. The curtains had holes in them. There was a door that led to a balcony. The dividers between the rooms did not go down to the ground. Looked as if someone could crawl under them. The hotel charges guests $30 for parking only on days there are events at the Reliant Stadium. They allow individuals who are not guests to park on property for $40 taking away spots from guests. After events they permit individuals who are not guests to hang out in front of the property and in the lobby.
