You know they dont clean the floors when there's a huge knife beside the bed on the floor. Floors were DIRTY! The entire room is fake wood, no carpet and after walking barefeet, our feet were disgusting - as if the floors had never ever been cleaned. The pool was permanently closed, but no where on their website says that. Room looked decent. I've stayed in hotels/motels all over the U.S. & these were some of the worst mattresses ever. "Sink holes" in them, uneven, just bad. Breakfast was so-so, a very continental, old school breakfast: bananas, muffins & a waffle maker - there is not a breakfast attendant and they will not restock the food. Both mornings, the waffle batter was so empty, there was barely enough for 1 full waffle. This is an old school Motel with doors on the outside. It is remodeled & upgraded, but $100 is the MAX this room is worth.

Positives: good A/C, strong shower and good hot water, hairdryer, TV and other amenities in working condition. Starbucks, Walmart, gas stations and restaurants all very close. Negatives: while we couldn’t hear guests in other rooms, the highway noise was extremely loud; the bed skirting had weird/suspicious stains; the bed springs squeaked loudly whenever you rolled over or moved; the smell of pot from outside room was overpowering; beautiful little pool was closed due to leaks; and breakfast was more limited and uninviting than I’d expect - bare minimum provided. Expectations were low for the location but still, wouldn’t stay here again.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was disappointed with both the condition of the room and the lack of transparency regarding charges. Upon check-in, I was surprised by an unexpected pet fee that was not disclosed at the time of booking. Clear communication of all fees upfront is essential for guest trust, and this lack of transparency felt misleading. In addition, the room showed signs of neglect and poor maintenance. The bottom of the interior door was badly damaged, with veneer peeling and the material deteriorating (see attached photo). The entry door was warped, and the bottom metal strip was bent and loosely attached, raising concerns about both security and insulation. These issues indicate a lack of routine maintenance and oversight. While the location and basic amenities may have been adequate, the condition of the room and surprise fees made the experience disappointing. I would not recommend this property until maintenance issues are addressed and all fees are clearly communicated prior to booking.

We stayed one night while in town for a baseball tournament. Prior to booking I was skeptical cause it seemed like a less than modern hotel but I went with it. Glad I did! The room was very clean, the staff were above and beyond friendly. Our HDMI cord was broken so we called the office. It was checked and replaced within 10 minutes! Location was key as there were several eating places within walking or 5 minute drive to include Starbucks, Whataburger, Panda, Wingstop, Chinese, Mexican and a Walmart! Recommend and if we ever return for baseball this will be our go to place to stay!

I was very pleasantly surprised that this roadside hotel was a very good value. Very up to date decor, and is clean, very comfortable bed, pillow, bathroom, and good amenities. I stay at a lot of hotel/motels, and I'm critical of most, but there is not one complaint I can level against this motel. They are providing an excellent experience.

We had actually booked this hotel in July, but due to a family emergency we had to be in Texas this last week. The hotel staff and hotels.com were so helpful with changing our reservation to accommodate our change in travel plans. The rooms were clean and spacious, staff was friendly, and it was easy to get to.

We stayed one night while in town for a baseball tournament. Prior to booking I was skeptical cause it seemed like a less than modern hotel but I went with it. Glad I did! The room was very clean, the staff were above and beyond friendly. Our HDMI cord was broken so we called the office. It was checked and replaced within 10 minutes! Location was key as there were several eating places within walking or 5 minute drive to include Starbucks, Whataburger, Panda, Wingstop, Chinese, Mexican and a Walmart! Recommend and if we ever return for baseball this will be our go to place to stay!

Positives: good A/C, strong shower and good hot water, hairdryer, TV and other amenities in working condition. Starbucks, Walmart, gas stations and restaurants all very close. Negatives: while we couldn’t hear guests in other rooms, the highway noise was extremely loud; the bed skirting had weird/suspicious stains; the bed springs squeaked loudly whenever you rolled over or moved; the smell of pot from outside room was overpowering; beautiful little pool was closed due to leaks; and breakfast was more limited and uninviting than I’d expect - bare minimum provided. Expectations were low for the location but still, wouldn’t stay here again.

We had actually booked this hotel in July, but due to a family emergency we had to be in Texas this last week. The hotel staff and hotels.com were so helpful with changing our reservation to accommodate our change in travel plans. The rooms were clean and spacious, staff was friendly, and it was easy to get to.

Clean but room had a musty smell. Air conditioner worked very well, Bed was comfortable but hard. It was ok for me. Took 3 pillows to make them firm enough. Included breakfast was very basic but the coffee was really good.

cleaning, convenient, great, Front Desk, service, and yummy breakfast! The hotel called us when our flight was delayed to make sure that we would arrive safely and the service and cleanliness is excellent! buffet breakfast is also generous with sausage and biscuits, cereal, pastries, and little pies, fresh fruit, and you can make your own Texas waffle in the waffle maker. And so reasonably priced for the area! We will come again!

This place is a classic. Takes you back to the days of clean, reliable, family friendly motor inns. Their breakfast area is small, but it had a considerate variety for such a small location. Starbucks and Whataburger are right next door if you want anything more. This place deserves it's high praise.

You know they dont clean the floors when there's a huge knife beside the bed on the floor. Floors were DIRTY! The entire room is fake wood, no carpet and after walking barefeet, our feet were disgusting - as if the floors had never ever been cleaned. The pool was permanently closed, but no where on their website says that. Room looked decent. I've stayed in hotels/motels all over the U.S. & these were some of the worst mattresses ever. "Sink holes" in them, uneven, just bad. Breakfast was so-so, a very continental, old school breakfast: bananas, muffins & a waffle maker - there is not a breakfast attendant and they will not restock the food. Both mornings, the waffle batter was so empty, there was barely enough for 1 full waffle. This is an old school Motel with doors on the outside. It is remodeled & upgraded, but $100 is the MAX this room is worth.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bestway Inn. The room was spotless and it was very quiet. The only negative I would say is that, although no pool was mentioned on Hotels.com, they do show a pool on Google images. The pool is empty. Other than that we have absolutely no complaints.

The AC was on when I entered my room and was comfortable. The parking was wide open and I parked right outside of my room. It is an older hotel so the furniture was dated but it was comfortable. The wifi worked good and they cable TV was through Direct TV so you actually had a TV guide where some hotels you do not. I did not eat breakfast there so I cannot comment on that.
