The staff were very welcoming. We dropped our belongings in the room and headed out for dinner. There were a lot of options close by. When we got back we noticed a hot chocolate and tea area. A lovely touch. The room was very clean but the bed was atrocious! It sunk in the middle. We kept falling into each other during the night. It took me 5 minutes of warm up stretching to be able to stand upright the next morning. Also the refrigerator made a weird high pitched noise. I almost unplugged it.

The front desk staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Unlike other affordable hotels, they actually appeared to be happy that we were guests. Coffee and tea all day. Breakfast was very good...plentiful and diverse. Rooms are very clean.

The computer system seems to have issues converting 3rd party bookings to in-house room assignments. I was stuck in the lobby w/ 3-4 other people for over an hour. The hot water wasn't working. House keeping needs to check the shower curtain... there was a booger stuck on it.

Staff were friendly and efficient. Lots of clean, good quality linens. Lots of hot water and water pressure was high. There was black mold under the soap holder in the bathroom. The artwork in the room can only be described as dark and suicidal. It was very quiet. Breakfast was excellent. Kind of a up and down experience but overall good enough.

Nice place. Slight issue with the shower. There was a slight issue with the shower that could not be fixed as the maintenance men were not there. However they did offer a new room otherwise no complaints.

This was the worst night I have ever experienced. Biggest problem toilet clogged every time flushed. Coffee pot did not function. Bed was absolutely torture. Tried to work out with staff to resolve they wouldn’t even switch my room. Staff was the most rude anyone has ever been to me. Had to find new hotel after one night. DO NOT STAY HERE

There were homeless people in the back in the woods. Our room was on the first floor right at the back door. i asked to be moved and they were able to change our room with no issue. The entire back lot was really sketchy Awesome location...walk to restaurants and grocery store

Very nice property It's not too expensive but the rooms are clean and spacious. The staff were all nice especially the lady that check is in is very friendly and pleasant... The breakfast was great, lots of choices to eat... And the check out is noon and that's a plus, other hotels/ motels it's either 10am or 11a.m.. They should learn from this hotel cause customers are happy when they don't need to rush in the morning. Thank you!

Good location for UVA graduation. However, the king size studio room was unusually small. To our surprise and dismay, when we opened the sofa bed, one couldn’t get from bedroom to the bathroom room anymore - you had to step over the corner of the sofa bed which inevitably woke up our son sleeping there. To make matters worse, bathroom light didn’t work, so we had to take showers in dark - after informing the front desk immediately, it didn’t get fixed during our stay. Apparently, the property engineer couldn’t be found?! Unfortunately, a bad experience for a one-night stay that cost us almost a bundle. Otherwise, staff was friendly and graduation meant a very busy hotel and city. Overall, the joy of graduation and being with family and friends made up for the inconveniences at the hotel.
