Upon arrival found out that elevator was out of service and had been for some time . Had to take a different room because I am disabled and not able to walk upstairs and carry my luggage . The carpet in hallway was stained and had not been shampooed recently . The outside pool area closed due to season but pool cover was dirty and had dirt and trash in it . Only one light worked in the pool area. Understand it being closed due to cold weather . Understand that it was complementary breakfast but very limited choices and area poorly organized . Was informed a bus would pick us up and take us into Washington DC, after an hour wait we gave up and drove ourselves into the city . Very difficult to communicate with staff due to poor English on their behalf.

This has become our go to hotel when visiting family in the area. Its clean, well located, close to shopping restaurants and the Metro and the rooms had undergone a pretty significant renovation in recent years, so we think they are in great shape. Unfortunately on this visit, the elevator was out of service and we only found one working ice machine. So if you need an elevator, I would make sure you confirm its been repaired before making a reservation.

Location in Falls Church near 7 Corners but getting to and from hotel was difficult with congestion and one way streets. Parking lot very cramped. Insist 3rd floor to avoid noise and lights from cars in lot. Room was clean enough. Area was safe enough. Breakfast was ok. Hallways need a do over. Elevator has bare metal walls. Very creepy. Small work out room with treadmills. Pool is sadly closed. McDonald’s next door — really close. More fast food choices across Arlington Blvd but very inconvenient to cross the divided hi way even with a crosswalk. It was a fair value given the discounted rate. Room’s HVAC unit roared groaned rumbled like an elderly person with indigestion… water pressure in bathroom very very low. Sink needed new faucets because tap arm barely cleared the sink top.

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Despite fully prepaying for the room, the hotel placed three separate holds on my credit card: $100 deposit, $119.74 and $136.74 — totaling nearly $600 for a $250 stay. I received no response after multiple messages. When they finally replied, they told me to contact my bank (even though they placed the hold), and had the nerve to lecture me about being “respectful.” Extremely unprofessional. The first room smelled awful, had dirty socks on the floor, and a toilet full of stains and scratches. When we asked to change rooms, the front desk staff was rude and dismissive. The second room wasn’t much better — still musty and dirty. Even worse, our room door was knocked on multiple times after midnight, which made us feel unsafe. And the room key never worked, so we had to go back to reception every single night. In short: Dirty rooms, poor hygiene, security concerns, unhelpful staff, and no communication. A terrible experience from start to finish. I will share this experience across every major review platform. Avoid at all costs.

The staff was nice, and the towels and other things in the room were replaced daily. The food was decent, and the dining room was kept clean constantly. We stayed on the first floor, and the hallway was dingy and claustrophobic. The room was neat and comfortable, but so damp that our sheets stayed damp the entire 3 days we were there, in spite of keeping the air conditioner running. There were several times we were hit with the smell of marijuana. The room could have used another lamp. And a few of the TV channels were off and on working throughout our stay. The hotel was a convenient distance from downtown DC, and overall it was an ok stay. But the dampness and dingyness of the hallway and room would make me not want to stay there again. The hotel just needs a good upgrade.

Terrible stay to stay for couples and families.. maybe good for single alone "man" who is on the road all the time and need a place to stay for a night.. I said "man" become if I was a female I would freak out because of how bad hygiene and service quality is in here.. bugs on sheets stain on pillow cases used and leftover toilet paper not working light bulbs...... and when you go to talk with customer service to have new sheets blankets n pillow cases they tell you "oh well unfortunately it might take time to send someone to replace those sheets or I can bring them to you and you can change it your own" excuse me? For $200+ is this what we get? And in the morning I'm going to breakfast (did not check out yet) eating my food which was terrible going back to my room and they got in my room changed blankets and pillow cases but didn't change the sheets? So I actually slept on someone else's sheets n pillow cases? Also I didn't even check out yet why someone got in my room and change all those? What if I left my l luggages unlocked and open or what If I was in the bathroom.. Idk it was a super strange experience and such a waste of money..

Unfortunately, the room I was assigned was located directly above the hotel entrance, and there was a significant amount of noise every time the doors opened to welcome guests. This made it difficult to rest, especially during the night. Additionally, there was a persistent noise coming from the toilet due to a malfunction inside the water tank, which caused water to continuously leak. I wanted to bring this to your attention in case it helps improve the experience for future guests. Thank you for your understanding.

Room wasn’t ready until 4pm, beds were hard, th receptionist kept texting on her phone while checking us in. Got woken up at 9am to house keeping knocking on the door asking if we were leaving so they could clean the room, when check out is at 1100.

The room was very clean and the staff was more than nice and professional. The only downside we found was the location of our room. The room was located directly above the entrance to the hotel and all night we kept hearing these loud sounds and finally figured out that it was the electronic door opening and shutting continually. The room in this location should be offered at a big discount because of the annoyance of this. Very hard to relax, talk, hear tv and sleep.

Tucked away on a busy corner right next to a McDonald’s. Parking area is small and oddly shaped. The hotel had a few signs of wear, hole in the wall in the main hallways etc, but was mostly good. Showers had good pressure and hot water. Only negative was the room was not pre-cooled, and it being VA in July it was very very hot and humid in our room, and the clunky old baseboard AC unit was not up to the task of getting it cooled down.

We checked in late so we were greeted the same way I think most people get greeted when they check in late. Not super friendly but okay. The staff was great (house keeping- very friendly); the head breakfast lady made it very clear they were closed at 9:10 am as soon as I walked in to grab a bowl only and I had to explain myself. She may as well have said “please turn around and go back”. There’s a better way to say things vs-“excuse me; we are closed.” Since yogurts and oatmeal were there I should have been offered to feel welcome to grab some to go but no; “we are closed”. That’s all. I didn’t even want anything so it was presumptuous. I get your cleaning up, but don’t assume I’m coming to mess up your schedule. Otherwise, comfy room, very clean and comfy bed. Nice time for our pup too.

Late check in @ 3 am. Noticed in the morning the overnight clerk placed a $415 hold on cc in addition to $100 hold for incidentals. Advised morning staff of error. Blamed it on their ‘E card’ machine. No apology for the inconvenience of a $500 hold on a room that was already paid for. You must be alert on the 11 am to 7 am shift when handling folks’ money. Gnat/fruit fly problem in the room coming from behind the tv. Any business that doesn’t keep up with the exterior is a red flag! 1st stay in DC but next time I can rule this location out!

Overall the place was OK. Clean and comfortable with an OK breakfast besides the over bearing lady that wouldn't let you do anything on your own. The issue was they charged me twice for our room and then tried to blame it on Hotels.com when I could clearly see the charge from them. They kept denying it was their fault, hassling me for more money for our second room when they had already double charged me for one room. Kept trying to run ny card for all different amounts even after the original extra charge was renoved and I paid for the extra room. It was a nightmare and we ended up leaving a day early due to how poorly we were treated. DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!!!

It was great value close enough to the DC and the metro train station:west church falls. Which was useful when we attended the Brezzy Bowl concert at National Park. The staff was kind honest and helpful would stay there again.

This property was in a safe area, with multiple shopping and fast casual dining opportunities nearby. The check-in and check-out processes were easy and quick. Our room was clean and had everything that we needed. The breakfast options were fair, although it was quite busy the morning that we were there. We really appreciated the free parking option as well. Overall, we had a good stay and I would consider this hotel again the next time that I am in the DC area.

Great location as it’s close to DC. It’s 15-20 minutes away from most sightseeing places in and around DC. Morning breakfast was good with multiple options including some hot breakfast items. Neighborhood was excellent with McD, restaurants, Safeway, etcc was minutes away. This will be our go to location for future Dc Trip.

From outside the hotel does not look impressive it is next to Mc.Donald's and the entrance road is kind of weird but the rooms are renovated, clean and comfortable. The location was convenient from the Capital One Arena.

Well maintained older property that was renovated in the past couple of years. Convenient location to DC, quick drive to the metro. One thing to be aware of, this property is very popular with tour groups, truck drivers and work crews, that can result in crowded breakfast times so late arrivals will likely have to park in a distant part of the lot as the numerous tour busses and trucks each take up multiple parking spaces.

Convenient location and very reasonable price. Hotel is older, but room and bathroom were in good shape. The upholstery on the breakfast room chairs are worn out and need to be replaced. The trash can in breakfast room was full, and the lid was filthy dirty. The coffee was mediocre, at best. Would stay again because of price and room was in good shape.
