I did not like that they do not have daily cleaning service and they charge $5 a night for parking. When there is plenty of parking and its in a tucked away location. Seemed excessive especially for the high price for the room

The walls and floors at this property must be made of paper! Each night of my stay I heard the traffic noise as well as people walking and or running upstair. It was one of the worst hotel stays for noise I have experienced! When staying here, be sure to request 3rd (top) floor and quieter street side versus highway noisier side of hotel. Also, housekeeping came in to my room when I had the do not disturb sign on the door. The indoor pool and pool area was also aged and not clean. The trash can had food dried and stuck to outside lid. Food spills on floor around pool. This hotel states it has been remodeled, but overall a subpar Hilton property. I believe this must be owned by an individual, because I saw shortcuts all over this property.

Room was clean and comfortable. Around our door there was a lot of light coming in. It seems better seals around door or tighter fit would be better. The niggest negative was the $5 per day charge to park in the parking lot. Do you give free breakfast which was very good but charge to park?

Didn't like the layout of the hotel with the pool in the lobby and cramped breakfast area. My room was not what I paid for and requested. I didn't like my room directly across from the elevator. Traveling with a friend and was given a king size bed instead of two queens. Was unable to make changes because of using a third party to make the reservation.

Stayed here again. Pool STILL out of order. No soap in dispenser in shower. Why go to using low environmental impact soap & dispensers if you don't have the discipline to make sure they are usable for guests?! Very annoying!! Room, bed and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Fair breakfast, although I dispise the sausage they serve 5 days out of 7. GREAT front desk staff. Nice snack and other items retail area (NO stupid vending machines!) Good parking unless there is an event at either hotel, then you are on your own to find parking anywhere nearby.

First they gave someone else to our room after we were in it they came and opened the door. Then my son found bed bugs in his bed. And I have tried to contact the general manager for over 3 days and still have not gotten a call back from them. Was told by 3 different people there the the message was given to them

The bed was hard as a rock. The overall cleanliness was lacking. Something spattered all over the artwork in the room, bathrooms had handprints in the mirrors and shower doors. The room smelled moldy or musty. We won’t try this again

Everything was good for the most part, my only complaint is the rooms could do with some better soundproofing. Anytime anyone was in the halls you could hear everything very loudly. Just the door being sealed better would probably fix this

Our room was chilly when we first checked in because the a/c was on (in December) took a bit for the heater to kick in. The water pressure in the shower was quite low and the shower head was high and hard to reach to adjust. Staff were great and very friendly

I'm not sure that there's anything unique about the property. There was no curtain in my window and I was on the ground floor and the shade was opaque. At some point during the first night the window shade on its own decided to roll up and it could not be pulled down again. I did all my changing in the bathroom and at night kept all the lights off but when I watch TV people could just look right in the window. I also have lights streaming in my window at all hours of the night and early morning

Room A/C wouldn't go below 75*. We called maintenance, he seamed to have fixed it, but it only worked for 15 mins. The thermostats have movement sensors now, which is what we believe was the problem.

Comfy pillow top mattress for the king bed. Nice glass shower with very warm water. A microwave and fridge were nice to have. Ice machine nearby. Only cons would be the loud highway being right there and no access to Netflix, etc. (without the HDMI stick), if u have a stick- bring it because it’s only cable tv otherwise.

It was very noisy being next freeway. Terrible breakfast. I'm giving 3 stars for the staff and service one star for check in lady and 5 stars for next morning check out man named Kwame who helped us above and beyond. He was only positive experience for us there and the rest is just blah.

Great stay, I loved that the front desk sent a text to check on us and offered text as a way of communicating with them as well. The room was clean and comfortable. Fridge was a bit too cold and froze our drinks and I couldn't figure it how to get the heater/ac unit fan to shut off, but those were minor things. Would definitely stay again.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. Our first experience was great. The front desk clerk was wonderful, the room was really clean, hotel was quiet and breakfast the following morning was really good. This time, the front desk attendant was rude.They swipe card she gave us for the room didn’t work. Had to go back down. Second card didn’t work and had to go back down again. Finally, was given a different room and a third key card before we had success!. We were made to feel like the entire experience was a bother to her.

As I traveled to Mechanicsville, VA for my daughter's baby shower, I was received by the attendance Ms. Evette with such awesome joy. My room was spotless. As a matter of fact, room services had just completed servicing the room. The attendant, Ms. Evette double checked the room before we entered the room. I experience excellent service and the hospitality was better than I have ever experience anywhere else. The smile, friendliness, and professionalism displayed was greatly appreciated. I felt so welcomed when I entered the hotel. I was greeted immediately upon entering the facility before I even approached the counter like I was coming home to family. I had the great opportunity to speak with the hotel manager Ms. Jolisa as well. She is surely top notch. I see why her employees are of high standards. It actually trickles down from the top. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel. The baby is due in late March, so I'll see you then. I know I will receive the same services as this time. Martha

Kwame the front desk manager took care of us! He made sure we were happy with our room. There was a faint septic odor in our room when we arrived that did not disappeared even after we turned up the air so he switched us to different room and we had a wonderful stay. The breakfast was fantastic lots of fresh fruit.

Pleasant, comfortable, clean. I was there for the birth of my granddaughter. Memorial Regional Hospital was a quick and easy few minutes drive away. Plenty of restaurants, stores, gas stations. Right off of 295 yet very quiet area. Staff that I was in contact with were friendly and accommodating.

Staff was super friendly. I liked the pool. I didn't like the breakfast options. It was pretty much the same thing day to day. If you are staying for a week or longer, that's not a good thing. Also ,there are not enough channels on the tv.

This was a last minute stop, but the hotel was great. The room was clean and spacious. There was quite a bit of noise from the interstate, but otherwise it was quiet. Our biggest issue was that breakfast was shortened by an hour on a Saturday morning. The biggest sign said it ended at 10 am, but when we arrived at 9:05, the staff was cleaning everything up.and didn't say a word. So we figured it out,but some sort of emphasis would've been nice.

The room was clean but smelled like mildew. The breakfast was poor, we got downstairs at 8:45 and there were no eggs, no orange juice, no milk for the cereal and the fridge with the yogurts was almost empty. Very disappointing and the staff on duty did not seem interested in restocking.

Just a quick overnight stay while traveling through. Very nice Hampton, great location, clean comfortable and convenient. Delicious breakfast offerings although the "hot" items are barely warm and usually cold by the time you get to eat them.
