For families with small children: the rooms do not have a bathtub, only a shower. Not a big deal for us but it did make it challenging. We didn’t notice in the pictures. Overall, breakfast was good but seating was limited, even at 7am. Staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. Great for a quick overnight stay while roadtripping.

This hotel is fit for a travelers staying one night. The beds did not leave us tossing and turning. The mattresses were comfortable. Plenty of parking. The rooms were clean. Basic breakfast fare although the coffee and tea was open 24/7, which was nice. There also was fresh fruit available. What I did not like was the shoddy work of the painters especially around the door frame. The elevator had a sign up for 2 people only or a family which made me disrust the elevator. Unfortunately, the breakfast area was small with on 3 tables that sit a family of four and 2 couples. The staff was friendly. For a cheaper overnight stay, not bad.

Everything about this lodging was upbeat, well-cared for. The room was freshly renovated and very nice. The staff couldn't have been nicer. And the breakfast was a hotel breakfast that I would have been pleased with at a more expensive lodging. I give this place a "10" across the board, and will definitely be back!

This was a stop over stay on our trip to Myrtle Beach. very easy access to the highway. extremely comfortable and quiet could not hear the interstate at all from inside the room. very clean and well kept. would definitely recommend staying here be it overnight or a vacation base. room price very reasonable

Room is dusty, dirty, worn, marks on walls in bath area. Certainly not worth $100. Carpet worn, has lint on it. Very dingy, dated room.

It was just one night on the way home from Florida. We had stayed there two years ago and thought it was great. This time, it reeked of mold when we walked in the side door closest to our room. The room desperately needed a good cleaning. We were shocked at how much it had gone downhill in just two years. It was rated “exceptional,” but this was obviously from a long time ago. It was gross! We will never stay there again.

Staff was very nice. Room was very dated, lots of rust and aged grime and there was a cockroach in the shower.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything worked as expected. All the staff were friendly and courteous. A very pleasant experience. Breakfast was better than expected although we couldn’t eat most of the hot foods. They had omelets with veggies and some sort of meat, biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, hot oatmeal, waffle station, cold cereal, hard boiled eggs, yogurt as well as an assortment of little muffins, bread, and bagels. They also had some decent looking bananas, apples, and refrigerated fruit cups as well as juices, coffee, and tea. The only complaint I had was the hot water was barely Luke warm so it wouldn’t steep tea. However, I used the microwave to heat my cup of water to temperature.

Good price and easy access for a one night stay with family. Lobby is updated and pleasant, and evening front desk staff were friendly and social. Our beds were comfortable, but our room was cleaned minimally. The bathroom had hair in the shower before we used it, and visible dirt on bathroom floor. Gnats were in our room and the room smelled damp. The high point of the hotel is the morning breakfast. That was really great.

Nice room. Spacious and clean. The bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. We like the skink and vs it’s outside the toilet area, so this was good. Bed was super comfortable, bigger than a normal king size. Breakfast was good, with eggs and sausage, fruit and biscuits and gravy. All the usual items. Nice clean dining area. We typically stay her on our way to Florida. Nice place with nice folks.

Check in was easy. The girl at the desk was so friendly, and even helped make a change to our room quickly. Unfortunately, the noise level in the room was terrible. We were on the back side of the hotel, and the road noise was loud. Also, the walls between rooms must be super thin. Our neighbor was snoring loudly all night, and it was easily heard in our room. Not the person's fault, but be aware of the noise level.

We were able to walk in and get a room. There are no bath tubs.

Bathroom is the smallest I’ve seen. Sliding door to the bathroom with toilet and pod type shower. Vanity is outside with a spray faucet. Neither one of us slept well because of the outside noise. Sounded like semi’s revving their engines. The breakfast was great! Highly rated but didn’t live up to our expectations. Old and needs remodeled.

This Sleep Inn was very comfortable. Check in was easy and our room was clean and comfortable. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was better than most. We only needed and overnight for our journey, but we were able to get nice rest.

Room was very clean but the hotel, overall, is very dated. Bathroom is very small. Sink is outside the shower/toilet area. Breakfast that was included was good, with staff refreshing often. Limited seats in the Breakfast area, so we waited to sit down. Staff at desk was very friendly. We stay on Wytheville a few times a year, first time at this hotel, probably would stay there again.

This place is ideal for a quick stay over. Clean, convenient, friendly, very comfortable bed. Really nice included hot breakfast I ask that they please do something about the stairwell entrance door to the second floor. It’s obnoxiously loud. Unnecessarily. That’s my only gripe as I had room 200. But this us a very nice hotel overall.

We have been staying here for years when we travel, we love the staff

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at your Wytheville, VA location in Room 109. While the room was clean and the check-in process smooth, our overall experience was significantly affected by a persistent and disruptive noise that made our stay unpleasant. After returning from dinner and a movie, we discovered an obnoxious noise coming from what sounded like a compressor. The noise occurred every 2-3 minutes and lasted 1-2 minutes each time. Despite our efforts to rest, the sound made it nearly impossible to sleep. When I brought the issue to the attention of the front desk, I was told, “I am not sure; I get off duty in a few.” This dismissive response offered no resolution or assurance. I requested to be moved to another room but was informed the hotel was sold out. We managed to fall asleep around midnight, but the noise woke us again around 2:30am, after which we decided to check out early at 4am not being able to fall back asleep. Upon checking out, I voiced my concerns again and suggested that we should not be charged for the room due to the lack of rest we experienced. The response was, “There is nothing I can do,” without any apology or empathy for our situation. This experience was far below the standard we expected based on the positive reviews that influenced our decision to stay at your hotel. I strongly advise that Room 109, or any room in proximity to this issue, not be rented out until the problem is resolved

Close to the freeway exit and two truck stops, so is convenient for travelers. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly.

This hotel was very easy to get to. It’s just off the interstate.

The Sleep Inn at Wytheville was very pleasant. Check in was quick and the hotel was comfortable and clean. There was a good Asian fusion restaurant nearby. There was a hot breakfast as well as cereals and other baked goods. The location has easy access to I 77 and I 81.

Room was clean and the bathroom was very nice. Quiet, with the exception of the elevator chimes, but that was minor. Still a good night’s sleep. Facility is in good shape. Quiet location, may need to drive for sundries. Would stay there again.

Located in an easy on easy off area with beautiful mountain views. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Coffee machine was not working at the breakfast bar. The breakfast bar was pretty decent with many options. The premises are very clean. It would be nice to change out receptacles near the bed and replace with integrated USB charger for phones.

Hotel is nice, in a great location, always a great selection of snacks and drinks as well as breakfast foods. Only downfall is that the breakfast space is very small with only about 4 tables so there isn’t always a seat available for breakfast.

Right off the 77. Close to restaurants. Stayed one night as we are traveling to the beach. Would stay again. Hotel and room clean. Only complaint is breakfast area needs more seating. Breakfast did have many options.

We have stayed in 3 different hotels on the last month and this was by far the best! Very friendly staff, very clean inside and out. The breakfast had an excellent selection, it was plentiful and hot. I will be looking to stay at a Sleep Inn on our next trip.
