We had a wonderful stay at the Grey Gull! The property is clearly well cared for — clean, comfortable, and it’s obvious the owners take pride in maintaining it. Staff were friendly and helpful the whole time, and the unit had everything we needed for a relaxed family stay. Loved the walkable location — easy access to the beach right from the covered trail, plus restaurants and shops nearby. There’s a fun retro 80s vibe throughout the property that gives it real character, and we appreciated the community game room/area — a great way to unwind in the evenings with our son. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend for families looking for a comfortable, low-key beach getaway!

The Grey Gull is a very clean, well-maintained hotel. The staff was so helpful & friendly. Great location. My one problem is the description of the room having an ocean view. I guess it can be advertised that way if you look through the break in the bushes, across the dunes, and in the distance. Binoculars or a telescope at check-in would be helpful.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. I loved that I could easily walk to the beach. The lodging was very clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that I had trouble operating the tv, but I didn't bother to get help since I had other things to do besides watch tv. I'm not sure how other hotels are in the area as far as quality to compare, but I would stay here again.
