Needs a serious update. Mattress sagged, sheets so worn they were see through, decor is from the 80’s, entire facility smelled like sour mash and cigarette smoke.

It smelled musty throughout, and there was an odd smell like vomit or death when we first opened the door. We were on the 3rd floor and you could also hear water draining constantly from above…not sure what that was from.

Good location for us. Nice seating area outside. Quirky oldish property.

Unique historical hotel with wonderful views. Staff was great. The facility had a few infrastructure challenges, which were not major problems and expected in a older building.

Beautiful historic building with a fantastic view and garden out back. The room was very clean but could use a little updating. We had a great meal and cocktails at the restaurant downstairs and enjoyed the art gallery. The staff was very friendly and informative. Would stay again!
