This property doesn’t have an elevator for the 2nd floor. Which was a minor inconvenience. I stayed for two nights and this was the first time the maid service came in after the first night. that was different. The ice machine wasn’t working and I really needed ice since it was over 90 degrees that weekend.

Stayed here because orbits and hotel websites both day there is truck, bus and rv parking. I had to illegally park on the street and hope not to get a ticket or towed.

-The staff is very friendly. -The pool and hot tub were under repair and there was duct tape holding down the carpet near the doors. -The bed and couch was comfortable and the shower was good. -The heat/cool unit in the room smelled like something was singed when turned on. -We had an early morning Saturday Tee time at Gold Mountain and the breakfast wasn't even going to be available until 7am. We weren't very happy about that. It could have been open with cold options available earlier.

Location: 2 hours frim olympic national park and 1.5 hours from mount rainier national park. Port orchard also has some ferries and theoretically you could take 2 ferries and end up in seattle. Staff: friendly and helpful Check in: seamless and relatively fast Free parking, free wifi and free breakfast. Breakfast: Continental style (scrambled eggs, hash brown, sausages, waffle, bread, cereal, yogurt, milk, tea, coffee, some fruits). Room: old, but clean. The sink had some issues in draining water and toilet flush was also kindda finicky. Room was very quiet and we had a great sleep, so we were happy. Amenities: hot tub, free massage chairs, free ice machine and filtered water machine. Overall: great value for money. Would recomment it.

Sheets needed placement as stains were present. Plumbing noise from above units is bad. Toilet tank does not seal properly and leaks during the night making noise. Large ball of hair on the floor indicates poor housekeeping. Mattress super soft and cover had stains; this indicates super old equipment. Mattress gave me a back ache.

Dead grass surrounded the property. Fake, plastic flowers in window boxes is tacky. Fourth of July decor still up. Dirty windows on the outside. Filthy and ripped carpet on the stairs going to the second floor. No ice in the ice machine on the second floor. Old A/C units on the floor in a corner of the lobby. Folded up tables stacked along the wall in the breakfast room. Breakfast was good. Nice variety of foods.

This was my second stay at this hotel. I was very surprised at the lack of cleanliness of this particular room. Furniture was dirty and stained, thick level of dust on headboard and lights. Staining of side of bed, gouges in wall, and staining on the ceiling. My guess is that was a “pet friendly” room. My reservation was for non smoking, no pets. The lobby was clean, staff friendly, and a good breakfast available in the am.

Overall we had a good stay but it was dirty. The handrails on the stairs were sticky from day one and didn't change. There was something sticky on the window ledge that looked like caramel and black mold along the bottom of the glass. When looking for a lost item we found popcorn and bits of paper under the beds.

Service was beyond excellent! Room was clean but had a strong cigarette smell even though our room was non-smoking. Also when we checked in there was trash on the floors. Breakfast was great! Eggs waffles cereal fruit sausage! Service was even better! Staff was sooo nice. The cook was so friendly and catered to everyone at breakfast. I asked for an early check in and they went to clean my room right away. I liked that I could see the washing room because I saw some white sheets drying in the large industrial dryer. So I knew our linen was clean. Housekeeping checked on us and brought us extra towels and body wash and was very kind. The front desk lady even prepared us yogurt’s bananas and fresh coffee because we checked out before breakfast! I would stay here again :)

I would have to say that it was fine for the price. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great with lots of choices in a nice eating room. The facility overall seemed a little tired. The room was clean but warn. There were a couple of scuff marks on the wallpaper. The furniture had some scratches. There was a loose floor tile in the bathroom. The wallpaper at the ceiling in the shower was stained and peeling from humidity. The only outlet available for a phone charger was so warn the tiny charger kept falling out. The outside area was quite busy with traffic and could be heard inside the room. In other words I didn't think the room was very well soundproofed.

The person in the room next to me left the TV on all night. I had an adjoining room and I could hear the TV going even in the morning when I was getting ready to go. There were no rooms available so I had to live with it. Tooo bad!

They gave me room to another person named Eric. I show up and Allison tells me I'm already checked into my room and my friend was in the room. Another guest showed up before me and his reservation was messed up so they upgraded him to my room that I booked about two weeks ago. They straight up lie and tell me he knew my name for the reservation and let him into my room by mistake and he already paid for my room so they couldn't let me have it. They then offer to waive my deposit and have me pay full price on a smaller room and the next time I show up I could get the room I wanted half off. I asked Allison to call her manager back and to give me half off that nights stay. They did. The next morning I see Eric in the lobby just trying to get a copy of his receipt, for my original room. I'm walking out the my car and he's walking out to his, I go by chance are you Eric, he's kinda spooked that a total stranger could know his name, just as I was spooked that someone could had known my name and used my booking to my original rooms... He explained to me his reservation got messed up so they upgraded him and gave him my original room to make it right to him. He didn't even use the Jacuzzi tub, I told him he got my room and he felt awful. The hotel should had comped my room 100% and just been honest with me that they screwed me over to try to make another customer happy I steady of their endless lies that Allison and her Manager crafted and probably use often..

We came in for a wedding and had a-lot of us in our group, they helped us and made sure we were all good. From early check ins, rowdy kids, and making sure everything was good. Very friendly staff. Would definitely go back.

Overall, stay was great. Convenient for where we were. Staff was great and the breakfast was definitely a bonus! Room was clean, sheets and linens were great. We would stay again. Only downfall was the area where there were tents and campers parked along the street. Homeless folks and all their garbage was a bit of a eyesore. The hotel did a great job of monitoring the grounds. We felt safe.

Our stay was great! The staff was efficient, and nice. Our room was clean and well maintained. There are just some questionable things happening out front of the property that makes me a little worried to leave my car in the parking lot. Otherwise, great stay!

Check in was easy and the receptionist was insightful about the amenities. Was in the perfect location for us. Kitsap Airporter Shuttle drop off for Port Orchard is literally a 2 min walk from the hotel at the 76 station. Also is right across the parking lot from a DQ and a McDonald’s but is not too far away from Walmart and other food places as well. Everything was clean but room had a slight smell of an old hotel room. Free breakfast was great!

The room was comfortable and clean. Abot 430am there was a bunch of banging around below us that lasted until about 8am when we all got up. The breakfast was not very good, the hashbrowns tasted old, eggs tasted like powdered eggs and not much variety.

It was an overall nice stay, but the whole place had a slightly weird smell to it. They have massage chairs, which is a fun feature, but only one worked. Breakfast provided was decent, but the eggs were dry and the hash browns had a gross flavor (both days of stay). Regardless of the few areas in which the motel could improve, the stay was just fine and comfortable for our family while we moved away from Port Orchard.

The Red Lion Inn in Port Orchard is an older property, but seems to be well-maintained. The room was clean and reasonably comfortable. They have recently changed their breakfast and you have to use your key to access the breakfast area. Then, a host is asking for name and room number. They are not allowing guests to take breakfast back to their rooms. (Breakfast changes are due to non-guests trying to get a free breakfast and due to waste with guests taking more food than they can eat and leaving it in their rooms.)

The toilet wouldn't fill up unless I wiggled the handle in between flushing, I couldn't get the coffee maker to work. I finally unplugged the hairdryer and used that plug and it worked. Someone's old coffee pod was still in coffee maker from last guest. The bed was fine as was the rest of room. Breakfast was so so. Worst scrambled eggs I've ever had.
