We've been checked-in by one of the best reception clerks one could imagine - young chap on July 2nd - sorry, don't remember your name - the professionalism, engagement and helpfulness was beyond one can experience at 5* hotels in Dubai, like JW Marriott - where service is top notch. He provided service above that. Thank you mate! Worth noting the hotel itself is a bit dates, though it just gives the climate of the times. There's roof top accessible for to enjoy views. It is in walking distance from the downtown and nice location.

The Inn at Virginia Mason is a convenient and affordable hotel in Seattle that is easy access to the wharf. The patio off the lobby is lovely and there is a great coffee shop inside the hotel. All in all a very pleasant stay.

The staff at the Inn are wonderful! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and they understand that you are there for medical care. The hotel has a direct route into Virginia Mason so you don’t need to go outside. The building is older so there’s no air conditioning but as long as you use the provided fan, you’ll be fine. The new bistro has really great food and drinks. Oh and the dining area outside is awesome! I recommend staying here if you’re getting treatment at Virginia Mason.

Staff were great. The room was outdated but it was ok for one night stay. No AC made it a little warmer than I would like but they do have two box fans that if you put in the window bring in some cool air. My biggest complaint would have to be the parking. Absolutely none available but if you are using Uber then no problem. Overall it was a cute hotel with friendly staff. Great bartender.

My partner and me only stayed one night so we did not get to enjoyed the place too much. The inside of the property was very cozy it has a nice lounge area, a bar-cafeteria, a nice patio area to sit beside the bar. Our room was big and clean. Since the place is under construction it was surrounded by a link fence and the entrance was not clearly shown. I did not mind that there wasn't air condition in the room since we were provided with fans but my partner was not too happy.

The huge plug in fan in the room is extremely noisy — doesn’t get rid of the humidity in the room at all. The washroom had no soap, so we had to ask for it. I had to wipe all surfaces and it came out really dusty and dirty.

Staff is polite and helpful. Room was clean with unworn carpeting. My room did not have A/C. I stayed in August. It was unseasonably cool but I had to keep the windows open so the room would not be hot and stuffy. There is a piece of ventilation equipment on an adjacent property that makes a constant very loud growling noise all day and all night. This is an old building with some nice touches like marble thresholds on the room to hallway door. Also, my closet was quite large. OTOH, the plumbing and electricity are a retrofit in my room and no attempt was made to hide pipes and wire conduits. One of the electrical wall outlets had come loose from the wall and was dangling by its wires (I didn't notice this until I was leaving). I wouldn't stay here again in summer due to lack of A/C and noise when the windows are open. I don't think this hotel has sufficient value for the price in summer. Less so if you are in Seattle for an event at the Seattle Convention Center due to the elevation change between that venue and hotel.

This old building is "charming," so without certain amenities one would expect in a modern hotel: no USB charging ports, electrical outlets are fiddly and far between, elevator can only fit 2 or 3 people with luggage and is very slow, lighting is very basic, shower is worse even than a California one, etc. Our room (and the hallway and probably all the rooms) was 80 degrees. The thermostat was set to 60 and there appeared to be no heating whatsoever in the room, so I suspect it's something ab out the entire building. This is in Seattle, so I can't imagine the sun achieved 80 degrees. There was a box fan that we mounted in the window to blow in cold air, which helped a lot, but one window (the one where the electrical outlet is close enough to use the fan) overlooks a hospital's HVAC system and is very loud all the time. The other window overlooks this hotel's noisy system (I don't think there's any AC, but it's plenty loud none-the-less). Also, with the fan in the window we couldn't use the sun-blocking curtains.

Unique property with vintage atmosphere. Room on backside was noisy with hospital equipment quite loud so unable to leave windows open for ventilation. Hospital surrounds hotel on 3 sides. No a/c and no fans in room made it a little muggy and warm. Unlikely to stay again with no a/c.

They say no AC but what they mean is the heater is running and you can’t control it. It was 55° outside and 80° in the room. We opened windows and after 45 minutes nothing had changed. We had to leave and get another room

It’s a hotel with a closed off main entrance; you had to use a side, inconvenient entrance to go in and out. Almost nonexistent facilities for food-a one-person operation with less than ideal service. Our room on 7th floor had no WiFi connection. Overall, a not so-pleasant experience.

The only slight issue with this hotel is that it is old and does not have AC but thankfully I knew that from reading other reviews so I brought my own fan but there was also a fan in the closet. With the windows open and both fans on it felt nice in the room.

Close to my venue but the room was very hot and there was no AC, and the windows although we were on the 6th floor only opened 2 inches. So it was hard to get cool air in even with the two fans they provided

Could not find the front door (uber eats could not find it either). No one answered the phone when I tried to call to find the front door. At check in he said I had to do a required deposit, unknown what that amount was but I was charged $121 for someone else's bill. Had to call several days later to get it refunded back to my card. Said the cafe would be open on Sunday morning for food and it was not. Had a hard time getting the tv off of the settings mode, bathtub needs safety pads, my husband almost fell cause the tub got soapy and slick and the bottom of the tub is not flat it is rounded. Said check out was at 12pm and housekeeping knocked before that. Room lighting was very dim. It was not worth the price I paid just to stay to visit my brother in the hospital next door. Probably will not stay here again. I understand this hotel is old, but the tub safety should be a priority as the side of tub is a good 12+" to lift your legs over to get in.

This is a no frills hotel that is comfortable and perfect for a quick trip. The front desk gal was great! She is so friendly and hospitable. We had a great chat and shared some laughs. She’s a gem and clearly cares about her work. Give her a raise!
This is a no frills hotel that is comfortable and perfect for a quick trip. The front desk gal was great! She is so friendly and hospitable. We had a great chat and shared some laughs. She’s a gem and clearly cares about her work. Give her a raise!

The hotel was great and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Could have used AC in the room and was very noisy from fans from roof top and emergency hospital next door. Great cafe in hotel and great coffee. Hard to find places to park. Long up hill walk from parking to hotel because we checked in after 10pm. But overall cute hotel

Customer service was outstanding, very helpful and informative! Clean rooms, comfortable beds and quiet. In a great location. I would like to give a special shout out to Carter, the night clerk, thank you for being so helpful. We went to a concert at the Paramount Theatre and it was late when we got back to the hotel. We were staring and Carter recommend a great pizza place. He even gave us a map so we could easily find it. A+

Property was great. Room was spacious. The evening/night desk person was not helpful. The toilet in the room was having problems flushing sometimes and we asked to have a plunger. He said that the maintenance crew was gone and he didn’t know where they were kept and his solution was to come down and use the toilet in the lobby. We were able to fix it ourselves and didn’t need to go to the Lobby in the middle of the night. He also didn’t know the area at all when we asked for a place to eat that was open at 11 pm. He didn’t know anywhere. We found one ourselves.

Front entrance was fenced off with no signage as to where the temporary entrance was. I thought they had closed down. Check in was quick, but we were given no information about anything from the front desk attendant. I needed to get my room key programmed a total of 3 times, but needed to go to the front desk a couple extra times to address it. We requested 3 separate times for our room to be serviced with housekeeping showing up not even once to service the room. I was later told they service the rooms every 3 days; it did NOT happen. The AC either doesn't exist or did not work. The room lighting needs to be improved as it's dark when sitting at the little table in the room. The door separating the room from the next allows a lot of noise to flow through. The tub drain was clogged. The bathroom window was missing its screen. As for the immediate area surrounding the hotel; we were violently yelled at several times by homeless individuals. One of which got very close to becoming physical. I'd recommend staying here at your own risk.

The Inn at Virginia Mason is a convenient and affordable hotel in Seattle that is easy access to the wharf. The patio off the lobby is lovely and there is a great coffee shop inside the hotel. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Better than I expected. Rooms are older and the view to the hospital windows isn’t quite scenic, but it more than made up for with easy check in and fantastic service from hotel and restaurant staff. Good location, not far from train/bus access and still walking distance to most things downtown

Could not find the front door (uber eats could not find it either). No one answered the phone when I tried to call to find the front door. At check in he said I had to do a required deposit, unknown what that amount was but I was charged $121 for someone else's bill. Had to call several days later to get it refunded back to my card. Said the cafe would be open on Sunday morning for food and it was not. Had a hard time getting the tv off of the settings mode, bathtub needs safety pads, my husband almost fell cause the tub got soapy and slick and the bottom of the tub is not flat it is rounded. Said check out was at 12pm and housekeeping knocked before that. Room lighting was very dim. It was not worth the price I paid just to stay to visit my brother in the hospital next door. Probably will not stay here again. I understand this hotel is old, but the tub safety should be a priority as the side of tub is a good 12+" to lift your legs over to get in.

I didn't like how it was attached to the hospital. So we heard the sirens all day and night. It was located in a very sketchy area that we felt unsafe. I didn’t feel like the hotel was as nice like the photos showed. I didn’t know before booking the parking was a bit of a walk to get to and with a very steep incline. My fiancé is disable and it made it very difficult. I didn’t know the hotel was under construction til after booking. We never gonna book this place again. It was very over priced for what we got.

Really nice room. Nice small hotel in an older building. However they charged me for an extra day. The incidental deposit came off right away, but was told the other extra charge would take 7 to 10 days to go away and that it was their system, which is “weird “ Perhaps I will choose a different hotel next time.
