La chambre était propre. La piscine était acceptable…mais le chlore sentait terriblement fort. Je surveillais mes enfants sur le bord de la piscine et mes yeux chauffaient sans même m’être baignée. Ce n’est pas la faute de l’hôtel mais nous n’avons pas dormi de la nuit car il y avait des autos qui faisaient la course sur le boulevard tout près de l’hôtel. De plus, une voiture semblait venir dans le stationnement et mettait la musique tellement fort que les murs de l’hôtel bougeait (l’auto avait un sub). C’était l’enfer. Je ne comprends pas que le personnel de l’hôtel n’ait pas appelé la police. L’hôtel est situé dans un quartier pas très rassurant (beaucoup de junkies). Mais bon, il y avait 2-3 hôtels un à côté de l’autre, donc ils ne sont pas mieux que le Fairfield.

The hotel itself was nice and the property was decent, but unfortunately the location and overall environment made us uncomfortable. The surrounding area did not feel particularly safe, and there were people who appeared to be experiencing homelessness frequently wandering around outside the hotel and through the common areas. While I understand the hotel cannot control everything that happens in the surrounding neighborhood, I do think more attention needs to be given to who is accessing the property and guest areas. As a paying guest, I did not feel as safe or secure as I should have. The hotel itself has a lot of potential, but because of the location and lack of security around the common areas, I would be hesitant to stay here again.
