the only thing that was not good was the Hot Tub. The jets did not work and the water was green either from the jets nit mixing up the chlorine or algae. I asked the front desk person and she tried the timer with no success she did ake the temp and informed me it was at the correct temp per regulations. The pool was clear and inviting but not as whay i wanted or needed after a long day. one of the reasons I chose this hotel was because of the Whirlpool /Hot Tub. very disappointed it was not as advertised

It was nice but nothing was available. The hot tub was out of order and that was one reason for staying there. There wasn't much for the breakfast. I have stayed here before and it use to be much better and cheaper.

Check-in was quick, and we got two complimentary bottles of water, but the lady never smiled. It’s ok, we can survive. Our king room was good and spacious. It was very warm in the hallways and stairways, I appreciated that. Special thanks for 24/7 coffee and juice machines with nice choices, in the open dining area. Pool was also 24/7 open, but the jet tub didn’t work, and the water in the pool was murky and of strange color, so we didn’t risk to use. The pool was heated though. Fitness center was small but cute (no smell!), treadmill out of order. Also, for the first time in our lives we had a view on a trailer park from our window, it was… refreshing 😂 and some homeless people around the hotel area, so we worried a bit, but the night went well and quiet. Breakfast was quite ok. Would I stay again? Probably.

I liked how close it was off of the exit. The pool was one of the reasons we chose this hotel but because it was having maintenance done we were given a voucher to swim at a nearby hotel.

Check in was great. Upon entering our room, there was a moldy/ mildewy smell coming from the bathroom Unfortunately we could not get moved to another room. Had to buy air fresheners to make olthe stay bearable. No refund of discount was offered both times the smell was mentioned

We stayed one night at this hotel back in May. We had a room on the first floor and it completely reeked of urine, we tried to air out the room, we bought air freshener, the room still smelled like pee. When we talked to the front desk about it, we were told it was a dog friendly room (explains the urine smell) and we had to wait until the morning to speak to the manager about it because there were no other rooms we could switch into. When we did speak with a manager the next morning, she told us we were getting 15,000 points to our Best Western account so we would be able to get a significant discount on our next room we book with Best Western. Well we just tried to book another night at a different Best Western Location and our account only had 5,000 points in it! After hours of trying to get ahold of a manger at this location (they weren’t answering our calls), my boyfriend was finally able to get her on the phone. She told us she doesn’t remember giving us the deal and said, “15,000 points is enough for a free night stay!” Which is what we were told we were getting, since we had to stay in a room that smelled like urine and they had no other accommodations for that night. After this experience I am never staying at a Best Western again, and I’m also going to take the advice of the Best Western Rewards customer service line and report this location. Completely unacceptable and horrible customer service.

The room it was smells like an animal assume . and it smells very bad. and I do have energy against animals. I couldn’t sleep all night long. I couldn’t wait for the day light, the reception desk there was very nice. my idea I know you guys have a pet friendly. But you should take considerations about people they have allergic to animals. I have a rooms for people like me. we cannot be around animals. thank you.

Smelled like a old hotel. We could hear everyone, upstairs, downstairs, in the bathroom and maids hitting on doors. Hot Tub & pool looks dirty. Not enough towels and we had to ask for extra, which we only got 2, after giving them the 2 that was in the room. Food was locked up right at 9:55 am. The surroundings outside is a bit sketchy. The only thing I gave it 2 stars for was the bed. It was comfy.

The breakfast was surprisingly nice and many varieties. Warm welcoming yummy breakfast. We enjoyed and ate a lot. I didn't expect so many varieties of warm cooked breakfast so that was great! Just few negative comments. However, it was a great stay overall. We arrived late at night and there were few big vehicles parked in the hotel parking lot so there was no parking spot. Had to park around entrance area which made me worry that other car might run into the car so woke up early in the morning and moved the car to the opened parking spot. Also, we got the room on the end room on the second floor, people who is next door decided to take a shower around 4am or 5? In the morning and the shower sounded like as if someone taking a shower in our room. Water sound was so loud and woke us up. Other than that, everytging was clean and staffs were nice. Overall, it was a great place to stay. The hot tub and swimming pool was great as well. The pool was so nice and warm. Kids enjoyed swimming.

It was nice perfect for a small family with a king bed, and a pull-out sofa bed the only complaint I have was the king bed mattress definitely needs to be replaced there was a horrible lump in it but for the price that's a small complaint excellent service the breakfast was unexpectedly very good definitely worth the price be fair warned the area is definitely not the nicest lock your doors

The rooms were very old and smelled that way. Shower had a terrible water pressure. Treadmill was broken. Front staff wasn’t present upon arrival and had to wait 5 minutes for them to come. It was a place to sleep but I wouldn’t feel safe there alone or walking the surrounding area. Cost was not consistent with the quality. Other nicer hotels in the area for similar cost.

The hotel was clean, pretty nice, breakfast was a good spread, but the bed was terrible. I stayed three nights and did not get good sleep any of the nights, I left with intense pain in my back from the bed. The mattress was extremely hard and there was very little cushion on top, the pillows were tiny and flat, I had to use all 5 pillows for my head.

Start with the good... clean, not too dated, pool was decent for kids, room was spacious and breakfast was a good hotel spread, with lots of options, including GF. Yakima has a bit of a reputation in that area of lots of homelessness, drugs and crime but this hotel was mostly secure, tons of cameras and our vehicle wasn't tampered with. Area wasn't at all as bad as I expected. The bad... black out shades need replacement. Between the otherwise appreciated super bright parking lot security lights and the morning sunrise the light got through the sides and bottom of the blackout shades. The fitness room equipment is in need of serious maintenance or repair. The buttons stuck on the treadmill then delayed sped up and was dangerous. The ugly... for gods sake! Get a new room key coder! 8 times between two keys and one night we had to visit the front desk and know/saw many others doing the same. It's like the key coder was programmed for single use entry and required reprogramming. If they fixed the room keys, Fitness equipment and black out shades it would certainly be a nice safe property and we would stay there again.

Very nice suite. It had 2 bedrooms . I didn't expect that. The pool is open late so that was cool. We got there pretty late due to problems on the pass. i was suppose to be there on the 8th but I didn't get there until around 3 or 4 am the next day. And I already had the room booked so I had to pay for 2 days. But it's okay. It's not the hotels fault we had a horrible drive there coming over the pass. The staff was very friendly and actually wanted to help guests. And their breakfast was amazing. The only other hotel I been to that had breakfast that big was in Florida . Just make sure you stay inside at night because there is a lot of wandering people outside at night.

Upon arrival, no staff at check in— just a sign. It said ring bell or call phone number. Waited politely about 5 minutes, then rang bell. Proceeded to wait another 10 minutes… I understand places are short staffed. Called the phone number and after 5 rings, a woman answered and said she would come down. Then we waited another 10 minutes for her to show up at the counter. She was cold and unwelcoming. We had 2 rooms, 2 people in each… not even offered 2 keys… just one key per room. The room is fine, standard, nothing special; acceptable for the price paid. Parking was sparse. The area is okay…. Wouldn’t want to walk down the street at night.

This was the worst best Western plus I've ever stayed at! And definitely in a shady part of town! Staff was rude and not to the BWP standards I've become use to. And as of now looks like they double charged me? We will see what happens with the CC statement.

Worked well for an overnight stay while traveling, staff extremely helpful in giving us an equal alternate room due to chirping fire alarm that could not be corrected. Excellent breakfast! Just a bit more of a drive for dinner than expected - we made it work though:) Noticeable homeless population within a few blocks but no concerns with safety at the property.

Breakfast was good. But not enough staff to take care of problems to busy for one person and they don’t tell you about signings form for a service animal except to say they saw you on camera and try to charge you till they realize the are ESA animals with paperwork Amd try to charge you. And give you a accessible room that you request for a walk in shower because you have someone in a wheelchair and they need a walk in shower not a bath tub shower combination where the sitting bench is to short and the legs don’t adjust in height and are told there are no rooms that are available with a bench style to sit on.and find out there are rooms in the building that have bench seat showers and the website shows them. and the pictures that say walk in showers show bath tub combos ??? What really? And kids running up and down the halls .

The hotel is right off of the highway. It is clean, comfortable, indoor pool, and overall a very nice hotel. Just stay at the hotel and do not go for a walk. Just a few minutes driving past the hotel First Street is a dump and seemed very unsafe. I have heard police patrol the area especially by the hotel so I think it's still safe to stay there just don't explore outside the hotel. Sadly most places in Yakima is not a very nice, but I think they still have a mix of a good crowd of people in the town.

It’s fine except it’s at the end of town where all the drug addicts are hanging out. Literally lining the sidewalks. It’s pretty far from all the restaurants and shopping. Only chose this place for the indoor pool and it’s closed for renovation.

Property is not on the best part of town. Being a single woman I did feel a bit uneasy. Breakfast could have been a lot better. The menu stated there was oatmeal with toppings, so naturally, I assumed that the oatmeal was already prepared and I could just get a bowl of it and add some brown sugar and whatever to it. That is not the fact it is instant oatmeal that you put in a recycled bowl with hot water so by the time your oatmeal is cooked. You’ve also waterlogged the recycled bowl and now it taste like the bowl. Super disappointing.

Perfect for me. Hot breakfast was just what I needed. It is desgined for business travelers, so the quality of your stay will be much better. This beats that Wyndham-owned hotel in Sea Tac, which was horrible. But Best Western Plus helped me forget the bad experience. I recommend this hotel to all.

The room was ok, that was the only redeeming factor. Hotel staff were very unprofessional and would like at the drop of a hat. When I asked for the managers name they refused, even telling me they did not know who the manager was... The hot tub was one reason we chose the hotel in a stressful situation, but it was broken. Juice machine at breakfast was broken and there were no drinks for the kids available. Toilet plugged and there was no maintenance on site, hotel desk person didn't know the the difference between a plunger and a cleaning brush. We were woke up to be shown a toilet brush wrapped in a grocery bag. All in all one of the worst hotel stays we have ever had.
