Overall this is a nice place. The absolute only issue we have is how the pool area needs some work. The area as a whole is so incredibly hot and the chlorine in the air burns your eyes. The pool and hot tub are kind of murky and look like they need a good cleaning. It seems like an incredible amount of chlorine is dumped into both pools in an attempt sanitize, but I think the formula needs to be re-evaluated. I honestly believe if they could just clean up the pool area and ensure they are following the proper chemical formula for this sized pool, the place would be so much better!

The pool and hot tub were very clean. The whole property inside and out was very clean. Nice patio outside by the pool, but it was too cold out for us to use. Breakfast was basically a continental breakfast. The only hot item was pancakes, but that was okay with us. Our room was clean and spacious and perfect for us. It was the off season, so it was quiet although a few families stayed there while we were there. I highly recommend staying there. We definitely will again.

The staff person Tammy was great. Very friendly and informative. The hot tub, pool, and room were all clean but older. The pool has big cracks in the bottom. The room toilet is very low and the seat shifted. A facelift of the place would make it excellent. But all in all, including the breakfast options, it was very good.

The staff was very nice and the property to what we saw clean and good shape. Well taken care of. Unfortunately, we were unable to get near the pool to use because it was also used as a community pool and was always packed with people.

It's a simple hotel to stay at nothing fancy don't expect that. It serves it purpose sleeping. The bed was very comfortable and lots of pillows to choose from. Bedding was clean and cozy. Room and bathroom were clean. The staff was very friendly. Check in was easy The AC and TV didn't work that sucked. The complimentary breakfast was only ok. No elevator stairs only Would I recommend this hotel, yes. Will I stay here again, yes.

The manager was very rude to our group and the kids staying and very unwilling to work with the group to work on a solution just resorted to calling the police. The pool and hottub was completely full of little kids and babies for a party (not staying at the hotel) so we were not able to use the ammenities most of that day. Would not recommend.

WiFi did not work at far end of building and desk clerks twice claimed that was just how things were. Stop advertising wifi if it doesn’t work. Also the carpet was so filthy I had to wash my feet before putting on my socks or getting into bed. Had to take out the garbage in my own room and dirty towels were not taken for 3 days. I’ve stayed here many times over the last decade plus and was shocked at how bad of shape the place is now in. May be making other arrangements next year.

The rooms were very clean and the pool area was very neat and clean also. Complimentary breakfast was delicious! Beds were fresh and neat and clean and comfortable and the lady that checked us in was such a nice person! Very kind and had a smile on her face and the gentleman who checked us out was just as kind and pleasant! Would definitely recommend this place!

Uneventful - everything went well except I shouldn't have chosen the first room from the lobby on the first floor. The sound carries very well, and we heard every conversation in the lobby. And most of them were kinda rowdy... Also, the stairs to the second floor are also adjacent to our room - and every time someone walked up or down it sounded like a herd of elephants lol! But everything else was good and we slept well once the other guests quieted down.

The hotel is adequate but not worth $200 a night. Walls are thin and you can hear conversations. And the air conditioning and refrigerator kicking on all night made for a sleepless night.

The king suite was huge. And very comfortable. Feels like home ❤️. The gal working at the front desk was amazingly helpful and genuinely kind. She was patient with all my questions during check-in. We were able to get an authentic Minnesota pizza (Heggies) right from the front desk shortly after we checked in. The hotel was very clean with decent accommodations. Tv reception was spotty but the weather wasn’t very good. The only thing that could have made this stay more enjoyable would have been a smart tv. Can’t comment on the pool area as we never made it down there…but the jacuzzi tub in our suite was a perfect alternative after a long day traveling. Thank you for making our stay very enjoyable!

The facility and accommodations are fine. Our experience with check in was rough. We were given info that check in time was 2pm so we arrived at that time. The girl behind the desk told me it was actually 3pm. Understandable but how I was told and it was handled was not good. It was not explained to me that that was their policy and their system would not allow, I was told only that it was 3pm and she was not going to check me in. People skills were quite lacking. Keep in mind this was in the middle of northern Wisconsin in mid January so not their busiest time by any stretch of the imagination. We decided to sit in the lobby until 3pm. That time came along and there were about 6 people waiting to check in. This is the time they decided to do a shift change. The girl coming in did what she could. The girl leaving sat behind the desk on her phone. Seems as though some employee training and policy change may be in order. Otherwise a fine facility. I would stay again.

I was from out of town, and would’ve liked to get freshened up before wedding rehearsal! The lady at the desk was very rude! She replied check in at 3:00pm no earlier! It’s 2:00pm and not one room is cleaned!!!! I had went through Expedia to book a room, the lady at the desk could not give me the price Expedia gave me for Friday I ended up paying more! Why? The rude lady couldn’t answer why!!!! So be aware when booking in!! I will be reaching out to the BBB. Maybe will get some answers from them!

We were there at 2:45 and told we couldn't check in till 3. when we came back at shortly after 3, there were 4 other people in line waiting and then 2 more came in and cut in front of me, because they were all in the same "group". so now I stood in line for 20 min to get checked in.

There was a big wedding party checking in around the time I arrived for check in. The front desk lady seemed overwhelmed but she did a great job getting through everyone and was wonderful. Our stay was great, relaxing, great pool time and check out was simple.

This hotel is on a hill that doesn't quite overlook the lake, but is tucked into the woods enough to be peaceful and pleasant. It's super easy to get to whichever way you are coming from. Plenty of parking right outside the doors. I believe it is under new management. Everything was ok. Nothing fancy, but it was clean, safe, working appliances and shower.

Would come back just for the breakfast and coffee! We will absolutely stay here again, and everyone we encountered was super friendly. Didn't use the pool but it looked well-kept. Rooms were as expected and clean. Beds were comfy and the towels were soft and fluffy. Great small-town spot to stay.

We were in town for a wedding, as were a few other guests. Check in was okay, the young lady at the desk seemed like we were an inconvenience just checking in. Room was big and really clean. Comfortable beds, tv in room was on the smaller side but we didn't use it very much. Breakfast was pretty boring, and they ran out of pancakes, the only "hot" food option, they did offer frozen waffles upon request. I would stay again if I was ever in the area, just not for $190 for one night, way overpriced.
