Delavan Lake Resort

A convenient stay in a well-decorated, cozy room with a living area, kitchenette, bedroom and bath. Pool and hot tub were clean and had great views of the lake. Front desk was very helpful. Would come back for a stay over.

I had to ring the bell twice to get the attention of the front desk. Realizing we got there early, I felt ringing the bell caused our room to be “not ready”. Nice, bright feel to the common areas of the hotel. Appears the hotel may have been renovated recently. Elevator is a bit slow. Pool areas and game room were nice. Room was quite spacious. The room decor, furniture a little outdated but ok. Overall a nice place to stay. Walking distance to a nice supper club and another perk, being able to visit Lake Lawn Resort (a sister property).

The room we stayed in was wonderful. 1 bedroom, kitchen, living room with fireplace was very nice. The only thing we didn't like about the property was when the are at full capacity, there is no additional parking

It was a wonderful place to stay. Very quiet and family oriented. Not on a busy road which made it quite nice to relax. Wonderful pool and hot tub.

The hot tub was broke

The property is very nice. Only few problems were in reasort: 1) it was cold in pool area and jacuzzi was out of order for whatever reason, 2) The TV didn't work in bedroom in room 231, 3) the game room has to be clean and the pool table also. The staff was wonderful and helpful. Hopefully the management will look over the travelers concerns! We visited your property couple times and hope to see improvements next time.

Spontaneous three day stay during the week. Love that there were all ages, families, couples , young, seniors, littles, teens staying at the property and never once encountered any rowdiness or rudeness. The property was pristine as was our unit. We especially enjoyed the large lanais and peaceful surroundings including water view and boat slips. Indoor outdoor pools both fabulous and hot tub was the highest temp it can legally be set at and was consistently toasty. Nice small game room with variety and something for all ages. Best pinball machine! Games are reasonably priced though we lost a little cha Ching in some machines and other guests had mentioned the same. Forgot to even mention it to Front desk. Overall value a 10 of 10. Would suggest a small market pantry with better choices than vending machines with microwaveable meals /snacks? Perhaps sell beer and or wine in the future but not a deal breaker. Plenty of retail nearby. The only downside was the chlorine or chemical levels for the indoor pool. Not sure if the chlorine levels were high or what chemicals were used. Having both a pool and spa at home I’m not sure what set off a bad allergic reaction after each use but for others with sensitivities I recommend wearing goggles and or not getting any water into eyes. Lastly, all front desk staff were friendly, knowledgeable and consistent. Happy to have found this little gem. Great value and highly recommend.

I like the room was clean , I didn’t like that’s the inside pool wasn’t heated. Overall we love it.

Room location on far outside of resort even though many rooms available closer. Elevator in our building out of order on Friday through the weekend. Suddenly working on Monday morning. Patio was covered with bird poop on floor and furniture. Housekeeping is obviously not observant. Upstairs toilet in loft running constantly, needs repair. Sunday morning found vomit by exit to parking lot which remained until checkout on Monday, even though many staff members were in the area. All in all, a very disappointing return visit. The management is not emphasizing cleanliness and maintenance/housekeeping is doing the minimum required. All of this was reported this morning to the front desk at checkout and “will be brought to management’s attention.” I have my doubts about the success of this happening. Will not return to this great location on Delavan Lake.

Enjoyed our stay, extremely clean and well kept

Property was great with a small kitchen area and seating area. Bathrooms were outdated. Carpet had stains on it and door to balcony area had mold on it

Hot tub and pool area needed cleaning. There were food wrappers and napkins all over the floor. The view was fantastic, but the beds were hard as a rock and the bathrooms severely need updates. The room was very spacious though.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Beautiful resort. Only complaint is the bed was dirty. Pillows were yellow, sheets looked like they had been slept in and there were black spects all over. Everything else was clean though

Beautiful place. Disappointed with the cleanliness of the room, dirty bath towel left in bathroom, open bottle of shampoo in the shower and then found dried blood on the comforter. That part was disappointing.

Unit 303 is a two bedroom unit with ensuite up, second BR with common bath on first floor. K, LR and balcony complete the space. All rooms, floors, hallways, elevator were very clean. This facility has no food service, but hey....it's Lake Geneva! All types of food service within a mile. We did not use the pool but it was used quite a bit by other customer families

Beautiful property. Freshly painted,clean, cozy, and quiet. The staff was extremely friendly and engaging. Best kept secret only a couple of hours from home. We will definitely return and refer to friends.

Our room was exceptional. Stayed in room 317 which had two bedrooms and 2 baths, kitchenette, and balcony overlooking the pool and lake. Our only complaint was the noise coming from the pool which started at 8am. A family swimming had a 3 year old screaming. Not sure if there are any policies in place to address this type of noise issue in consideration of the rest of hotel guests.

We enjoyed the facility, room was spacious and kitchen area was stocked with items to use the young lady was very helpful on check in and trying to fix problems we incurred the first room had no heat after 2hours we were moved this room was fine but some items seen better day blinds were missing peices letting in light at night and a large gap under door we had to shove a towel in the lower cabinet doors were falling off in the kitchen and lots of stains on bedroom carpet some maintenance items that need to be addressed because it is a really nice facility but the lack of up keep makes it less appealing had photos but it isn't letting me upload them was offered a third room after a review was posted but it was another 2hours later and we had already had on pjs getting ready for New Years Eve

My room was clean and quiet and comfortable always feels like home away from home! Has a nice kitchenette to cook with as well as a balcony to see the lake !!

Great place to stay. The two bedroom suite was a great size and loved having the kitchenette too. The resort looked recently remodeled too. Very nice, clean and modern looking. Great view of the lake too.

Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Several blinds were missing from both the bedroom and living room which made it difficult to sleep. Walls are super thin; I could hear a whole conversation that was being had by the room next to us. Kitchen didn't supply anything. Having only a microwave and no oven is a huge disappointment but i was aware of that during booking. The only good experience was being able to see the lake from our balcony and right by the lake.

Second time in this room but different owners now. Remodel was beautiful and updated. We were disappointed that the fireplace was not functional. Desk had no one to come check it out.

Our room was nice and also clean, but a little dated. The people working at the hotel were great, but we didn\'t expect to have a shared porch. Also, there were "passthrough" doors into the room next door that were locked but very thin. Not only could we hear everything happening in the room next door, but the wind blowing caused them to creak all night making it sound like someone was trying to break into our room, and giving us a very restless sleep.

It was really nice had a couple problems, no remote for the TV in the bedroom and ceiling fan didn't work in that bedroom also. Otherwise awesome stay

The hotel receptionist was not approachable and rude at check in and especially when we checked out. The game rooms pool table had plastic eggs stuck in the pockets making it inoperable. We informed the rude hotel receptionist and her comment was its service is outsourced. No darts to play darts as well. Every floors vending machine was out of order. The hotel receptionists coment was you need to use cash. We tried that several times with no results. Her next comment was the machines are outsourced. Very unprofessional. On a good note, the room was nice and spacious with a side view of the lake. Overall rating 7.

The staff greeting (Chloe) was excellent! The suite was updated and very nice! It would be great if there was a walking path all around the resort too!

The staff accommodated our needs and attended to mechanical issues promptly. We enjoyed our stay VERY much and definitely will return!

When I was checking out I had one issue and the girl at the desk promised me That manager will be in shortly and she’ll call me right back, that was Saturday, Sunday is over and I’m still waiting for the manager to call me right back ;(

Check in I was put into the wrong room (booked a 2 bedroom and got a 1 bedroom). Eventually they figured out a plan B since the room I booked was not available but had to wait an hour for room to be cleaned. Billing was a mess and never got any true answers. After multiple charges, credit backs and charges again, the final payment was charged 5 days after leaving and checking out without any call/explanation, notice or heads up that a large sum was going to be drafted. When I went to make my final payment the day before checking out and looking to change the card on file, couldn’t do that as there was still problems staff couldn’t figure out. They said my balance was $0 but they didn’t see any payment history. Staff mention a new system was just put in so that could be the issues.

The staff was nice and helpful. Room needed upgraded. Air conditioning did not work. Battery to control the living room fan was out. Fridge light out. Beds were uncomfortable. The guests staying next to us were loud. Called down to the desk to complain, but no one answered even after several attempts. View of the lake was beautiful and local restaurants served delicious food.

Great spot on Lake Delavan, quiet, clean and the 2 bedroom option was amazing. The pool and the pool area is super clean and the umbrella tables came in right on time. If you are looking to relax or traveling into Alpine for a concert, I highly recommend this spot. You can rent a pontoon boat and enjoy the lake too. Your are so close to Lake Geneva for a nice lunch or dinner. We opted for Pier 190. It was very good and we sat on the patio. Chloe was my contact and she did an amazing job. I can’t thank her enough!!

We were pleasantly surprised at this hidden gem in Lake Delavan. Although it was a 15mn drive from Lake Geneva it was located right on the lake. It didn't have access to a beach however you could walk a few minutes to the public beach area. They did have a small dock for fishing however it's also busy with rental boats. The resort as beautiful, quaint and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We went mid September and the outdoor pool was still open. It has a sister property and you are now to use some of their amenities as well. Even though it didn't have a restaurant the one located inside the other property was amazing. We are hoping to go back for christmas!

This is a beautiful property with lake views. The staff was great and went above and beyond. There is no restaurant on site but so many options near by. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway I would definitely recommend this resort.

Would like access to walk along lake

We so enjoyed the room, very neat and clean. Great view of the lake and sunsets. The resort was so close to everything in Lake Geneva and Delavan and other local places.

The property was conveniently located on Lake Delavan and about 11 miles to Lake Geneva. Its the perfect lodging at a great price to enjoy two tourist towns. This was my second visit in one year. I highly recommend getting a room with a a lake view. Watching the sunset with a glass of wine is breathtaking!

I loved staying at Delavan Lake Resort. The rooms were very spacious and the view was amazing. I willl definately be back.

Liked the quiet are this hotel is located in and that a supper club was within walking distance (should make dinner reservations if you don't want to wait hours for a table).

It didn't have access to a beach however you could walk a few minutes to the public beach area. They did have a small dock for fishing however it's also busy with rental boats. The resort as beautiful, quaint and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We went mid September and the outdoor pool was still open. It has a sister property and you are now to use some of their amenities as well. Even though it didn't have a restaurant the one located inside the other property was amazing. We are hoping to go back for christmas!

No restaurant on site. Toilet needed plunging because it did not flush and bathroom sink did not properly drain.

Really high priced and overrated for the service. They dont serve breakfast. They have complimentary coffee in the morning but that is not of good quality. They didnt do house cleaning during our stay after our first night. I tried to call for house cleaning but the phone in the room did not work. We went to the front desk at 9:30 AM, no one was there. The only good thing is the spacious room size.

I wish they had a restaurant. Everything else was fantastic

I love that the suites have fireplaces. I also like how quite it is. I wish there was grab and go breakfast or at the very least coffee available in the lobby.
