First room ac was not working, haur in sink, dirty toilet, carpet not vacuumed. Asked to be moved to another room, was told to wait until we came back from dinner to see if room was cool. Finally got moved to another room after 3 hrs. Carpet still not vacuumed and toliet dirty. DO NOT STAY HERE!

We decided to stop in Cody on our way to Yellowstone. Got to our destination to find a run down inn. Got to our room to find moldy tiles in the bathroom. Pubic hairs in the tub and a Brown Recluse on the wall. Needless to say we didn’t sleep well that night.

Ruime kamer, bed was in orde, we zijn vriendelijk ontvangen. We hebben de kamer verre van schoon aangetroffen. Er is een andere kamer aangeboden, maar toen hadden we zelf de koelkast e.d. al schoongemaakt, dus zijn in we in de kamer gebleven. Koffiepads pasten niet bij de koffiemachine op de kamer. Wifi is achteraan niet te ontvangen, in de buurt van de receptie wel, maar heel langzaam. Geen ijsblokjes machine en het vriesvak van de koelkast was helemaal dicht gevroren.

The lady at the check in was quite friendly and it was done real quick. In our room there was a little smell like ,,old” and the internet was unusable. Even the try to enter the access data after connecting to the WiFi was not possible at all devices. Back at the check in counter we got another room (2 doors next to our first room) everyone can imagine how good that was :( Again back to check in and telling her that it’s also not working. Then we got the same booked category but this room was nearer to the check in lobby and was much nicer and had a newer bathroom. It was also possible to get a stable connection to the internet. Unfortunately that connection broke down again and again every few minutes. Our luck was that the super 8 motel had a free and not secured WiFi network that we could use. That worked really well. So for everyone who needs internet maybe for planning the days in Yellowstone or keep in touch with someone else, that’s absolutely not the address to stay

Upon checking in, the staff threw my ID and card in front of us when she finished verifying my identity. She didn’t seem to be accommodating. The room is ok, all necessary amenities are there, comfy bed, working microwave and fridge. Bathroom doesn’t have an exhaust.

Easy check in but staff was unavailable after 11pm & still wasn’t there at 6:30am when I checked out. Coffee pot in room was filthy with a broken handle, lamp was broken with a rigged lamp shade. Beds were ok, WiFi & cell signal were mostly unusable. Conveniently located and accessible. Room was spacious with sofa. Someone or something opened our door in the middle of the night so safety became a question.

There was nobody in the building when we arrived at 8 pm. We pushed 0 on the desk phone as requested and 15 minutes later the front desk people pulled up and got out in pajamas. The entire building, including the room was disgusting. It was dirty and run down. Our shower barely drained and our pillows were dirty. Thankfully we had our own with us for camping. I wish that I had stopped at a hotel in Chamberlin instead.

This is an older property, so it comes with a certain level of character associated with older properties. The staff was excellent, helpful, friendly, and welcoming. This was a great value for the price and worked perfectly for us traveling between hiking and backpacking locations. Clean, comfortable and appreciated.

Fijn hotel welke redelijk onderhouden is en fijn gelegen is aan de hoofdstraat die door Cody, WY loopt. En ligt op kleine afstand van de Cody Rodeo en de Wallmart. Cody en het hotel kan prima worden gebruikt om Yellowstone te bezoeken en/of het stadje en de omgeving te bezichtigen. Een opmerking de trip tot de east entrance van Yellowstone is maar één uur echter moet Yellowstone dan nog doorkruist worden.
