It is a grad hotel Soviet style closed to the old historical centre of the city. It is part of a huge casino with most guests coming for gambling. It is conveniently positioned. Rooms are of a good sized but outdated, tied, not fit with enough electric points for charging you phone or a tablet. Instead of a show it was an old style bath. Was not able to use swim g pool. They sell tickets to it to outsiders. It was so busy- no chance to swim. Massages in spa are cheap but you get what you pay for- not great quality. Breakfast not great either . It is clean but smell if cigarets is everywhere. Stuff at the reception do not speak English good enough. Communications were difficult. Still, if comeback to Plovdiv , will stay there for the convenience of the position and good size of the rooms.

My room had a strong stench of cigarettes which never seemed to disappear. I think the previous guests smoked inside the room. Also, there was a forgotten plate with sweets on the cupboard. The outdoor swimming pool was closed which wasn’t written anywhere on the website, and the main reason I booked here was because of the outdoor pool. The staff barely spoke Bulgarian. The only good thing is the indoors swimming pool and the staff taking care of it. The two guys - the chemist caring for the water and the lifeguard were so kind!

We had a three night stay in Plodiv. We primarily choose this hotel for its pool. The first issue is only one of the two pools is functional ( the indoor one ) and the outside pool has clearly not been functioning for years. The hotel structure is beautiful but it’s in desperate need of modernisation. For example the beds while clean were very hard and aged and the rooms were very dark and gloomy. The staff was helpful and friendly ( by Bulgarian standard’s ) despite the condition of the hotel.

The hotel is very old, bed are not that comfortable, there are all sorts of noises especially at night. I was scared both nights I stayed in as a woman. Didn’t feel safe. I booked this hotel because had a pool advertised but the pool was not in service which was disappointing and the services are definitely not updated. Breakfast was very average. It’s a shame that the hotel from outside looks amazing but inside needs a renovation and needs updating.

Kahvaltı çeşitliliği ve erken başlayıp geç bitişi harikaydı.Erken check in'e müsaade ettiginiz için teşekkür ediyoruz.Ancak çocuklar için bir alan düşünülmemiş. Yataklar çok kötüydü,rahat değildi.Banyo temizdi ama duş alırken perdenin vücuduma yapışması hiç hoş değildi.Odanin görünümü 4 yıldıza uygun değildi.Konumu iyi.aksam önündeki meydanda vakit geçirebilir küçük çocukla.Plovdiv Medical Üniversitesine 20 dakika mesafede.Park yeri ücretli, yer bulabildik.Çalişanlar güleryüzlü.Kahvaltidaki demleme çay ve ve Türkçe konuşan çalışanların olması çok sempatikti.

Very unpleasant stuff. Peter was not polite, he did not apologise for my room not be ready for check in at 2pm. Thanks or please are not words in his vocabulary. Otherwise hotel is outdated but clean and good location

The hotel has a nice location but unfortunately everything is quite dated. Also our bed linen was all wet and had to call reception around midnight to have it changed. There was no apology from the hotel either

We stayed here on two separate occasions at the beginning and end of our holiday the delux room was great but the second visit we could only get a basic room there was no comparison the basic room was awful in comparison

The Victoria restaurant and staff is top notch. The other restaurant is only worth going to for breakfast. Staff at front desk and both restaurants were really nice and spoke English. I would stay there again. Good location close to a lot of good places

llegamos al hotel a la 1pm y la habitación no estaba lista; nos dijeron que el check in era a las 2 pm a pesar que le dijimos que solo tomaríamos la habitación por horas (hasta media noche) Ya siendo las 2 pm nos entregaron la llave y fuimos a la habitración y todavía estaban terminando de limpiar, nos indicaron que no habían toallas disponibles,,,,luego decidimos ir a la piscina y nos dimos con la sorpresa que no estaba operativa ( sin agua a pesar que hacia un calor de 35 grados).....el estado de las alfombras del hotel muy sucias, desteñidas, manchadas y con mal olor....
