Rooms were spacious. Plaza right across the street (supermarket, ATM, restaurant and other stores). Security was on point. Easy to get taxi. Breakfast was included. The Jamaica bkfst was always to salty. I did not try the pool. Beach was large area with lots of chairs. Bed linens were worn out and so were the towels. Some had holes in them.

The housekeepers were right on top of a spill on our bedspread before we even reported it- a clean one appeared after breakfast! The beach and grounds are immaculately kept. The food is delicious, and the free breakfast onsite is welcome. Security on the beach made us feel safe. The beachside dinner and bonfire was an unexpected bonus! We will return.

I loved my stay at Country Country. It feels like a home away from home. Easy check in and the staff was pleasant. Rooms were cleaned daily. Great location on the beach. Of all the properties I've stayed at, this was one of the best by far. I was very comfortable, its in a prime location. The beachfront was cleas n the location where the beach chairs are were clean n cozy with umbrellas. Security is on site. The pool is beautiful and clean. The food was very good. Breakfast has many options and is a great portion. Other menu options are great and reasonably priced. I had a wonderful time and would stay at this resort every time.

I love Country Country! Safe, clean, friendly staff and the free breakfast is good. They did not miss with the Jamaican country style cottages. It literally looks like a little neighborhood. The beach is well kept with umbrellas and loungers. The security is top notch. You could go home and come back and your belongings will be in the spot you left them. This place is awesome! I will be returning in the future for my 3rd stay.

Bath and beach towels were raggedy and most definitely need to be replaced. There was also mold on the ceiling of our shower in room 513. Other than that our stay was good. Really enjoyed breakfast options, the lovely beach, and the central location of this resort.

Nice huts between the palms with a unique atmosphere. Part of the seven mile beach with own security and modern chairs with umbrellas. They also give out air matresses for free. Great breakfast as well with beautiful sundowns. Definitely recommended.

The grounds were gorgeous! The beach space was a nice amount of space without feeling crowded. The breakfasts were good along with coffee. Filled up my water jug at bar with ice and tap water everyday, bartenders pleasant. Wait staff good. Grounds were kept swept each day, cleaning was done daily for room. Beach towels were provided, less packing required. Overall experience was pleasant with no complaints.

Loved the look of Country Country very cozy, colorful, well maintained gardens and beach. The location on the beach is perfect. Plenty of chairs located in and out of the sun under plam trees. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Our beachfront room with a large balcony was awesome, but most of the rooms are in a garden setting with very easy access to the beach. The included breakfast was OK.

Love the bungalow style and be so close to the beach. Restaurant/bar was great (we had dinner, cocktail and breakfast). Floating devices available to use for free at the beach and pool. Parking included. We had a blast!

Had a ground floor cottage #508. Properly and beach beautiful and extremely well maintained. Workers up early raking seaweed from the ocean into piles. Felt very secure entrance gated with 24hr surveillance and beach access also monitored. Room itself a bit dated. Frosted windows unfortunately don't let in natural light and wooden slats on door do let biting bugs in. Feet and ankles had quite a few bites. Excellent included free breakfast daily options include french toast, banana oancakes, eggs, omletes or a lical breakfast. Nicest stretch of 7-mile beach i saw pkenty if shoreline and always beach chairs and shade available. Overall a reasonably priced stay that I would recommend. Perhaps an upper floor room might help with tge bug issues but they really should think of eliminating the slats on the door. Excellent A/C which is needed 24/7.

Checked in on Friday 22nd my sheets were dirty haven’t been changed. Lip stick etc was on the sheets. I called the front desk she said she would let the manager know. The manager finally came took pictures and says he will be back. It took an hour just to get clean sheets.

Das Country Country ist ein idylisches Hotel mit Hütten in einer geplegten Anlage. Wir hatten die 509, ca.20m vom Strand gelegen. Die Betten sehr bequem, Bad etwas altmodisch aber alles voll in Ordnung, also keine losen Handtuchhalter, oder tropfende Dusche etc.. Klimaanlage ist top und individuell einstellbar. Die Anlage ist toll gepflegt. Thanks John. Die Zimmer sauber, Thanks Supa. Das Frühstück und Restaurant generell sind gut und die Preise ebenso. Die Coktails ebenso. Wir wurden überwiegend gut und freundlich bedient. Es sind genügend Liegen am Strand, der jeden Morgen frisch geharkt ist und die Strandverkäufer sind freundlich und sehr selten lästig. Falls doch helfen freundliche Security Mitarbeiter. Strandtücher sind inclusive an der Rezeption. Obwohl die Anlage selbst ruhig ist (Ausnahme die typischen Baumfrösche)hört man ab Mittags das Margaritaville, ein Beachclub, ca 100m entfernt. Jamaica feiert halt gerne und am Wochenende gehts bis 24.00, Ostersamstag aich bis 3.00. Wer es ruhig sucht darf nicht nach Negril. Generell ist nach Ostern nicht viel los und es ist kein Problem in einem Restaurant einen Tisch zu bekommen.

Right on the beach and this place is beautiful. The rooms were very clean. The cleaning and grounds staff were very friendly. Beautiful beach and delicious food. Set clean and well-kept grounds. The rest of the service staff needs some work. Incorrect orders, very slow (even by Caribbean time standards), EVERYTHING was an excessive wait with them and even then often orders were wrong and missing (another wait), slight attitude at times. CAMILLE was a standout - consistently excellent. She should be training the rest of the service staff. This is the only reason I didn’t give this place 5 stars.

Cons: unstable wifi in room (room 542), no soundproofing in room (noise from staff in the early mornings and from Margaritaville on Friday night), exterior paint could use some touchups, front gate needs fixing. Would recommend and plan to stay again.

Easy access to the beach. Right down the beach from Margaritaville. The room was nice and spacious with a porch that looked right at the sea. The decor and fixtures were a little dated but acceptable especially for the price. The breakfast was good with quick service. I’ll definitely be back

We stayed for 3 nights and LOVED our family stay at Country Country. The property is paradise and the beach is unforgettable. Food and drinks were consistently great and priced reasonably. The whole resort is overflowing with Jamaican charm, from the brightly painted cottages to the friendly staff. We would definitely come back, but there are some things that could be improved. Our refrigerator did not work at all and was not repaired when we told the front desk about it. The coffee maker took a frustrating 30 minutes to brew just two mugs of coffee; it's clearly an older, inexpensive model that needs replacing. Lastly, neither of our rooms, which were located in separate cottages, had reliable Wi-Fi. It seems they rely on a residential Starlink system, and the range of the extenders is simply not sufficient for the size of the resort. A mesh Wi-Fi system or additional access points would significantly improve the guest experience. Lastly, it's not within the property's control, but Margaritaville is quite close and plays their music really loudly, especially on the beach during the afternoon. It wouldn't prevent us from returning, but it is helpful to know ahead of time. On the positive side, there are other resorts very close that have great food & drinks, especially Miss Lily's at Skylark. The resort faces the West, so the sunsets and beach walks are incredible. The windows in the room did not have screens so they could never be opened because of the mosquitos.so rooms were dark and dreary. Staff were very friendly and helpful.. this place was a bit too rustic and old for us..

Convenient, central location. Quiet vibe. Very cute buildings. Full breakfast is included, which I loved. Rooms are really well done and authentic looking, but there are no screens on the windows, so you can't open them unless mosquitos don't bother you. The food was fine. Overall, I liked it. Recommended for the modest price and being right on 7 Mile Beach.

We lucked into getting room 514, which is second level beach front. Amazing view of the beach, palms sea and sunset. Room was large and tidy with lots of space for living a few days or longer. Only stayed three nights and spent one of those days off property. Would recommend if you want a quiet place on 7 Mile with nice tropical gardens

I was looking for a simple and affordable hotel for my recent stay and this property was perfect. The staff and housekeeping were friendly and excellent. Clean, large room with a living room and 2 full bathrooms. Modest decor, with good AC and ceiling fan. There is a nice onsite bar where the bar tender, Gary serves great drinks. Good, central location on the beach.

Everything was great.. only thing I would say I had any issue with at all was the beds were a little too hard/firm to sleep on.. other than that we had a fantastic time and it was an awesome little property to stay in!

Receptionist was extremely rude as we was not advised that a refundable damage deposit was payable on checking. Even though we paid two months in advance. Horrible lady, she had short hair and dark skinned. Didn’t make any of our group feel welcomed at all. Has a power crazy attitude, she will make the Hotel lose business , practically accused us of having a bill only to realize she didn’t check the bill properly, very argumentative person. Her alone would not make me recommend Country Country or go back. The Hotel need a camera in the reception area and monitor there Staff behavior!!! Other than that the cabins are okay, need more Housekeepers on property for cleaning so you don’t have to wait until after midday to have your room cleaned because you are on the next floor. Beach Towels also need to be available in abundance, every time we went to get a clean beach Towel we was told they are drying. Would be nice if they played music on the Beach and not just at the Bar. Out of 10, I give it 5. Not going back because of the bad attitude of the receptionist. Train your Receptionist they are the front of the Business!!!

The staff went out of their way to make my husband's birthday and Christmas trip a fun and memorable one! Everyone went above and beyond from Sherique & Monique at the front desk who were always accommodating and helpful, Lee who walked us to our room and checked on us, Super who took care of our room, Camille, Peta Gaye, Tavia, Reneka, and Gary at the restaurant and bar who served us delicious food and drinks daily with good music, beautiful views, and good vibes all around. Can't forget TJ in security who went above and beyond to make us feel safe. The location on Seven mile beach is PERFECT with the exception of being two doors down from Margaritaville where you can expect a late and loud Friday night ladies night party which isn't good if you like to go to bed early. Speaking of bed, the beds were clean but honestly not too comfortable. That's the one improvement that is needed in the rooms. Overall, we had a great time and met some new friends as well as old, and I thank everyone. We will be back with our family soon!

Front desk staff was unfriendly, bordering on rude at check in. Bar staff was uninterested and unfriendly during whole stay and seemed only marginally trained on their POS system. Serv and cleaning staff, on the other hand, were friendly throughout. On our last day, a person in civilian, business clothes was milling about and checking the POS and computers - management I presumed - and the attitude of the up until then unfriendly staff changed miraculously. On the guest-side: By 9am most beach chairs were reserved 'German style' with draped towels, some blocking three chairs for two people. Same chairs remained empty until after lunch time and often well into the afternoon. I would recommend a policy against blocking chairs. Maybe enable reserved chairs for an upcharge.

Right on the beach and this place is beautiful. The rooms were very clean. The cleaning and grounds staff were very friendly. Beautiful beach and delicious food. Set clean and well-kept grounds. The rest of the service staff needs some work. Incorrect orders, very slow (even by Caribbean time standards), EVERYTHING was an excessive wait with them and even then often orders were wrong and missing (another wait), slight attitude at times. CAMILLE was a standout - consistently excellent. She should be training the rest of the service staff. This is the only reason I didn’t give this place 5 stars.

Country Country really stood up to the challenge of taking care of their guests during the week following the arrival of Hurricane Melissa. They did their best to provide us with food, electricity and water. All this while their private life was being devasted by the hurricane. Well done, Monique and Staff, for being on top of things. I now know that I have the best choice of hotel for my holiday. Will be back again at CC!

Country Country is a lovely, small resort - so much more charming than most of the places I passed on the beach. And the staff are really friendly and eager to make sure that your stay is enjoyable. Special shout out to Deirdre-Ann who worked hard to accommodate my need for a room closer to the beach and Monique who went out of her way to help me extend my stay. It would be great if there were screens on at least some of the windows in each room/suite so that in the daytime you can have some light in your room, without fearing mosquitos. As it is, there are just shutters. This would be more of a problem in heavy mosquito season. They do have mosquito nets for the beds if you ask, however. It's important to note that this is a party beach - which perhaps I should have known, but didn't see mentioned in any of the reviews...and that Margaritaville, which is just a few hundred yards down the beach has loud music playing, not just on Friday nights into the early hours (which I was advised about prior to my arrival) but every day from late morning onwards. I wished I could have picked up the resort and moved it further north or south on the beach! This didn't bother most people I talked with, so unless you are looking for peace and quiet, this place is really lovely. One note: the trip to the airport (Montego Bay) is about 2 hours and not the 90 minutes stated on the website.

I've been intrigued with Country Country for years and we finally got to stay there. This is an old school cool resort with amazing staff from Javon and Wayne with the grounds crew to Camille in the restaurant, housekeepers who have worked there for 15-20 years because they love their job and their employer. Our stay included breakfast daily and let me tell you, this was well worth it! The omelets were excellent, but those darn banana pancakes....loved them! The beach was well-maintained and gauarded 24/7. Very safe. Can't say enough about the place. We have never stayed at the same place twice in Negril, but we WILL be back to Country Country!

Highly recommend this property in Negril! The room was clean, the staff were friendly and the included breakfast is the best we've ever seen from a hotel. Additionally, you're right in the middle of 7 mile beach which is perfect for exploring. The hotel beach area provides a good balance of sunny/shady spots which seems to be rare among resorts.

Love our stay at Country Country. It was very comfortable, clean snd charming. We felt safe with the security detail, the staff were lovely. The location is convenient with some great alternative dining spots close by and a pharmacy and grocery store across the street. The only downside is our room was right behind the kitchen which starts making noise at 6:45 or 7 am so we didn’t get to sleep in on our holiday:( we asked to move but the option was a downgrade so we stayed put. Other than that, the property is excellent value and I’d stay again.

The location was excellent. We had easy access to the beautiful beach, and we could walk up and down the beach to access numerous restaurants. The restaurant and bar at Country Country were also quite nice, especially the free breakfasts. The beach was not crowded, and security guards made their rounds throughout the day. The noise from nearby Margaritaville was extremely loud on Friday night, but we didn't notice it during the week. My only complaint about the resort was that the bathroom towels were not at all soft, even though the beach towels were, so they were unpleasant on sunburnt skin!

I thought the grounds and cottages were charming. There seemed to be an interesting mix of people staying there. The staff was wonderful and always kind. Although I tried to tune out the band from the Margaritaville Hotel next to us and the annoying beach promoters, it was intrusive! It's a shame that there is no law to bar such lound music on the beach. I will not return.

Loved the look of Country Country very cozy, colorful, well maintained gardens and beach. The location on the beach is perfect. Plenty of chairs located in and out of the sun under plam trees. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Our beachfront room with a large balcony was awesome, but most of the rooms are in a garden setting with very easy access to the beach. The included breakfast was OK.

One of the best looking hotels I've ever seen. The beautiful cottage, surrounded by an incredible amount of nature really sets the ambience for a great stay, right next to the amazing Seven Mile beach. At front desk, we booked a snorkeling tour to the coral reef (with Famous Vincent) which we highly recommend. We also arranged our transportation with the hotel to Rick's Cafe. When paying by card, is where we start to see some negative points. We started our journey in Ocho Ríos, so we were surprised that once we arrived here every single operation with card would come with extra tax (which we understand is something that might be comon in all Negril area, due to a lot of North-American tourism mostly) - fortunately, we had enough cash to perform most of the transactions. When it comes to meals, it is probably the one we find most negative. We had all breakfasts, one dinner and one lunch and every single meal would take AGES to arrive. The fastest breakfast we got took 45min to arrive and the fastest lunch / dinner took 1h15 to arrive, excluding the time from the moment they would seat us until they took our order (minimum 20min) - way to much!! Finally, we had breakfast included and it was told to us that we could have anything we wanted from the menu but, at check-out, we were asked to pay all sides we had apart from the single dish.... Surprise!...

The housekeepers were right on top of a spill on our bedspread before we even reported it- a clean one appeared after breakfast! The beach and grounds are immaculately kept. The food is delicious, and the free breakfast onsite is welcome. Security on the beach made us feel safe. The beachside dinner and bonfire was an unexpected bonus! We will return.

Country Country is a unique experience in Jamaica. Very relaxing vibes and nice people. It’s a laid back, cottagey feel. Lush greenery, relaxing pool area, great food and drinks and simply an unreal beachfront. If you’re looking for a beautiful setting, local chill, relaxed vibe this is the spot. The staff is friendly, the manager is awesome and the location is perfect to explore the beach and make your way west to town or the cliff’s. Loved it and will definitely book again.

Great small resort had everything we wanted. Steps from our casita to the sand,reasonable prices,friendly staff. Highly recommend dor those not looking for a party destination. We cant wait to go back!

We have stayed at country country 3 times before .Thus last trip we were very disappointed and will not return. It’s so unfortunate because it’s a beautiful place on the beach and we have made friends with a few of the staff members who are now over worked due to new management. When we arrived and went to are room 524 and checked out the room and bed we discovered the bed had 4 large lumps in it. So we went to talk to the manager and she had very poor management skills and told us to flip the mattress are self and to see if that would work. Not at no time did she come and see the bed herself. We were there for 10 days and nothing was done except for a very thin mattress pad was put on the very hard mattress. At this point my husband took out the mattress from sofa sleeper and put on the bed . It only covered half the mattress so I slept on the hard mattress and he had some comfort but not really. We will return to Negril and stay at Coco LaPlam. .
