We stayed at 3 hotels in Ljubljana this trip around the same price and the Four Points Sheraton was BY FAR the best one. The most comfortable bed, friendly staff, spacious room, very clean. One of my favorite 4 star hotels we’ve stayed at in Europe. There is a pool and a nice sauna in the gym available until 10pm, you need to set the heat for sauna hotter when you get down there. There is a small cafe/bar area downstairs very convenient for coffee in the mornings (she made oat milk lattes for me too very appreciated). We were lucky enough to receive an upgrade to an even larger room and we were spoiled by it, we can’t say enough nice things about this hotel. Free parking for guests. Again, the most comfortable bed. It doesn't seem like it from the outside but the rooms have a luxurious feel. We will stay here again every time we return to Ljubljana.

Positiv ist die Lage: direkt an der Autobahn und nur wenige Minuten zur Stadt. Ausflüge ins Umland und Stadtbesuche sind problemlos möglich, und es gibt ausreichend kostenfreie Parkplätze. Eindrücke aus unserem Deluxe-Zimmer während eines 4-Nächte-Aufenthaltes: - Die Rolltreppe vom Parkplatz zum Lift war defekt – mit schwerem Gepäck eine Herausforderung! - Schmutzige, fleckige Teppiche in den Gängen. - Das Zimmer war dunkel, hellhörig und bot Geräuschkulisse aus den Nachbarzimmern. - Abgenutzte, teils defekte Möbel und eine veraltete Einrichtung. - Schwaches Licht durch Energiesparlampen, keine LED, wodurch das Zimmer ungemütlich wirkte. - Keine Kapselmaschine, nur Wasserkocher mit löslichem Kaffee. - Defekte Badezimmerlüftung, wackelnde Armaturen und klemmender Wahlknopf für Dusche/Badewanne. - Am letzten Tag nur lauwarmes Wasser – ohne Erklärung. - Funktionslose Schließfächer im Pool-/Sauna-Bereich wegen leerer Batterien. - Sauna: Eine Dusche nur warmes Wasser, kein Wasser im Aufgussbehälter. - Das Frühstücksbuffet war langweilig, fade und ohne jede Abwechslung.

Nous avions reservé une suite familiale (numero 186) pour 2 nuits. Tres belle chambre et confortable pour une famile. Nous avons egalement mangé au restaurant de l'hôtel qui était très bon. Cependant durant la première nuit une très mauvaise odeur d'égoût est sortie de la salle de bain. Impossible d'ouvrir les fenêtres pour ventiler. Le problème a ete annoncé à la reception le matin mais à notre retour le soir l'odeur était toujours présente et constatée par un membre de l'hôtel. On me propose une réduction comme l'hotel est plein. Seconde nuit avec les mauvaises odeurs. Lors du check out on m'annonce une reduction de 10% puis 15% en insistant.... puis on m'explique que la chambre est HS pour les prochains jours.... donc au Sheraton on vous vend 2 nuits une chambre HS à 85% du prix... bel esprit commercant...

Der Service war ausbaufähig - sehr lange Wartezeiten an der Rezeption sowohl bei Check-in als auch bei Check-out. Frühstück war ganz gut aber die Auswahl begrenzt. Hotel complex is nice, with half of the rooms freshly renovated and other half not. Rooms are priced the same, so you can get unlucky and stay in the old part. I stayed in a very busy period so it was sold out. If at full capacity there is waiting line to get a table for breakfast. When it's not completely full, it's a great hotel for a good value with great amenities.

Main reason for the stay was to rest during a long travel with car. A good sleep was a priority we unfortunately got nothing off. Our neighbours, not sure if it was next to us or below us was the loudest neighbour experiance ever. A combination of running (how is that even possible in a small room?), heavy steps, dragging furniture, smashing things (no idea what), loud volume on the tv and everything else possible made it totally impossible to sleep. This was the case 2 out of 2 nights. With that said, not the hotels fault that people are idiots and don´t know how to behave, but the thin walls didn´t help us. The second night i went down to the reception to raise awarness about the "war zone" next door. The answer was they will check but that "check" unfortunately made no difference to us either since it continued untill 1-2 am. I tried to locate the room myself also to knock on the door but you couldn´t hear anything from the outside. Perhaps the same reason why the staff couldn´t do anything about it either. We left the hotel with zero sleep for a total of 1400 km drive the next day..... This will be how i will remember the hotel in the future.

Unfortunately, it was a bad experience. Despite having received two written confirmations and having specifically chosen this hotel because it offered a crib for our baby, we were told upon arrival that no crib was available. They offered an extra bed instead, but obviously such a small child cannot sleep in an adult bed due to the risk of falling and safety concerns. We asked for a refund or alternative solutions; a refund was not possible because the booking was made through Expedia, and the only solution offered was free breakfast. Honestly, how can a free breakfast compensate for such a major safety risk for a small baby? I am shocked by the lack of problem-solving from a facility like this.

Dejligt hotel i udkanten af Ljubljana. Meget venligt personale. Super lækker morgenmad og en rigtig god restaurant på hotellet. Værelset var godt og rummeligt, og havde lækre hovedpuder, hvilket man sjældent finder på hoteller i udlandet. Dejlig pool og fitness faciliteter. A business hotel on the outskirts of Ljubljana, with good quality facilities but a little bit showing wear and some age. It was easily reached from the airport - but only by Taxi (€40-55). It is possible to get to the city centre, recommended by bike. Walking is about 1.5 hours and part of it along busy roads. The breakfast is very good, and the local restaurant (there isn't anything else nearby) is decent but a bit expensive for the quality of the food. The staff is fantastic and the pool and sauna are very good.

Everything was fine, but I don’t recommend the vegetarian option at the Robin Restaurant which was flavourless and not well cooked. Many more tasty options can be found in Ljubljana. There is a shuttle bus to go into town provided by the hotel but only leaves three times a day and costs 4Euros each. We used the TaxiMetro app - taxis were around 8-10 Euros and were very convenient.

Very nice and comfy hotel. A bit out of city, if you don’t have a car. But they also provide transportation to city at request for 4€/person one way. Nice indoor pool, which was pretty busy during evenings. Real sauna, too. Good breakfast.
