The property was nice with an elevator, and good parking. Pool and hot tub were clean and warm. Not so good things - smelled musty like mold in some areas, kids had bad allergies, beds are a little stiff.

I was not overall impressed that both the ice machine on 2nd floor and coffee machine in lobby and my room did not work. The pool opening at 8am is terrible people like to get a morning workout in can’t!! The only positive thing about this hotel was the AC worked very well!!

A good place to stay. Good breakfast options. Friendly, helpful staff. Only disappointment eas the hot tub not working properly- it was pretty much the same as the pool temp. Would have liked it at least a few degrees warmer.

This is our 2nd round sstaying here. We are using it on return. The room is clean and big. It has a white spot restaurant on site. Which means no more traveling. Also there is a mall across the road. Groceries and pharmacy also McDonald's. I would recommend a stay here

Nice property, good staff. The room was decent and for the most part clean. Nice pool and hot tub and breakfast was ok. But the carpet was filthy I am sad to say, which put a bit of a damper on things.

I recently stayed in a room on the first floor, with the busy parking lot right outside. The room overwhelmingly smelled of mold, and was damp throughout my stay. Also, you cannot open your windows to get relief from the mold smell without worrying that someone will break in… they are not secure and someone could climb right into the room. I definitely won’t stay again.

Overall disappointing stay at Best Western. The hotel was just clean enough to get by, but upon closer inspection it was filthy. Lobby stairs carpeting to 2nd floor packed with mud and dirt. Room, looked clean on 1st glance, but when you actually used it, the bathroom still had long hairs stuck on the tile. Mold in the grout. It just seemed like a place where they were cutting corners everywhere. There's not a dedicated purpose built breakfast area, so they've converted a room at the end of the hallway on the 2nd floor into a breakfast area. It's too small and unventilated so you'll leave smelling like the breakfast sausage. The gym doesn't open until 8am! And you have to be let in by the front desk! The gym doesn't have any towels of any kind cloth or paper. Nothing to wipe down the equipment before and after use. The common area garbage bins remain unemptied for days with garbage spilling out of the opening. I expected so much better from Best Western but compared to other hotel brands, it was hugely disappointing.

Overall hotel seamed great until in the morning felt stuffed up went to open blinds to allow natural light into room and looked up and was black mold on ceiling. Loaded our things and went to front desk to check out. Told front clerk and asked him to come see and he basically waved me off said no as if he didn’t care. Offered to show him a picture of it still didn’t care said he will get maintenance to go have a look. No apologies nothing just a is what it is attitude. Had a room booked on the island at another best western plus that following night and have stayed at best westerns lots in the past. I don’t feel best western has bad policies but I can’t say the same about certain staff members. Won’t be staying at that specific hotel again.

I couldn’t login on the internet. Got this message ‘Maximum number of devices reached for this transaction. Please contact the front desk to obtain an authorization code’. Front desk said there isn’t such thing as a authorization code. The inside of hotel is extremely noisy. Early in the morning guests and housekeepers are very loud. Impossible to sleep after 7:00am. Finally, there weren’t fruits or yogurt for breakfast. The egg option looked artificial and gave us diarrhea. Overall, it is a very expensive hotel for what they offer. Definitely, the worst Best Western I have been so far.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE. My stay was ruined by being put in room 234, directly above the restaurant which plays music with the bass turned up too high from 6.30am until around 10pm. I first complained about the noise around 4pm, since I was trying to take a nap after a long trip. The man at the reception desk said he'd ask the restaurant to turn the bass down. About half an hour later I went back down to reception since I could still hear/feel the music. I was told by the same man that he spoke to the restaurant and they said they'd turn it down. I asked if I could move rooms then, since it was still disturbing my nap, and was told no. He said he'd ring the restaurant back to ask them to turn it down again, and ring me afterwards to check that they had. Well, that call never came, and my nap never happened. Since I was busy in the evening, I didn't go back to reception. That was until 6.30 the next morning, when I was suddenly woken up by the restaurant music again. I don't think I ever received an apology for the noise and disturbance during any of the three times I complained at reception. I left the hotel extremely tired and unrested, and for $264, it was an appalling experience. The hotel offered zero compensation despite all of this, since the noise was not during their midnight hours. Being 20 min from an airport, it shouldn't be unreasonable that guests may wish to nap in the day. Additionally guests shouldnt be forced to wake up at 6.30am! AWFUL SERVICE!

The hotel's really nice! Looks like they fixed up some rooms, it'll be great when they're all done! We were on the bottom floor, it had laminate floors and new mattresses. Pillows were awesome, and the room was clean. We've been here before, and we'll come back!

Room was nice and clean. My issues were walls very thin, could hear things going on in other rooms.Kids running down the hall. Constant beep going off never knew where it was coming from. Ladies at the front desk were super nice.. 👌 The gentleman working was not friendly at all...

Cash grabbing company. Needed a hotel for July 07, the app gave me July 14 prices so I booked but then immediately recognized the mistake and called - I got this answer “policy is policy - we are charging you”. Will be submitting complaints to head office, better business bureau, and will post online. I am NOT HAPPY.

Everything was really good . Didn’t wanted to leave a bad review. Just the receptionist in the morning was kinda rude. Didn’t had welcoming attitude towards guest . This is my first choice for hotels in the Vancouver area. The location is good with plenty of shopping and restaurant choices in the area. The rooms are clean and well kept and the breakfast is very good. The wifi is good and the free parking is nice except the parking lot fills up fast.

For some reason, there was dried cleaner on the toilet that was waxy, and the breakfast is very limited selection, and depending on the day certain staff lack refilling the breakfast trays. As well as there is only one waffle cooker and it takes three minutes times that by 20 people. It takes a while to get a waffle but other than that, the beds were pretty good and the rooms were pretty clean.

The hotel was fine and the clerk at check in was very nice. I was disappointed with the breakfast. The various items were poorly stocked. The main items (eggs, hash browns and sausage) were completely empty when we arrived and the lady in charge of the kitchen said that they were in the oven. After about a 10 minute wait she started restocking these but didn't seem to have a good system to keep up with the number of people. They did not have boiled eggs (apparently they had them the day before) and they were out of peanut butter and cream cheese packets (essentially all sources of protein that we wanted for breakfast). The lady who was in charge of the kitchen was telling someone that they were changing food supply vendors due to the USA tariffs and that is why they were running out of different items. When someone asked her for syrup, she brought him a bottle but told him that was their last bottle (he promised to use it sparingly). Having stayed in other hotels that do not have this problem, this seems a bit ridiculous. As a guest in the hotel, I expect them to figure out their system and not have excuses for poor service. There is a grocery store across the street where they could easily buy things in an emergency (e.g. a bottle of syrup) instead of making customers wait around or not offer various items altogether. I am forced to take one star away, due to the breakfast situation.

Breakfast was sufficient. The whipped cream made our waffles soggy but the sausages were top notch. Beds were pretty comfortable. Internet access was great. White spot restaurant was ok. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The ladies in the breakfast buffet were super kind and helpful, as were the ladies at the frond desk. Overall stay was decent. Nothing fancy but definitely functional.
