In need of refurbishing. There IS NO ELEVATOR! Stairwells are dark and dingy.

Was not sure what to expect , the room was clean though and it was quiet. Couple of knocks, elevator not working, and no easy way to plug in a device for charging near the bed, would not cost a fortune to have some kind of power /C power bar on the nightstand next to the bed.

I had a solid stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel overall looked decent, though some areas show their age. For the price, especially with breakfast included, it was great value. The fitness room really stood out. I usually find hotel gyms disappointing, but this one was surprisingly good, and even had a dry heat sauna. As someone who works out regularly, that was a big plus. My room looked newly renovated, modern, and spacious. It came with a mini fridge, a good TV, free Wi-Fi, and a balcony. The bathroom was also nicely updated. The only issue was the shower/tub combo — it was very slippery with no anti-slip mat, which felt really unsafe — like a serious accident waiting to happen. On the downside, the bed wasn’t the most comfortable, and the pillows were terrible (I’ll remember to bring my own pillow next time). On the upside, the provided grapefruit-scented soap was a pleasant surprise — it smelled nice without triggering my allergies. Overall, not perfect, but a very good stay for the price. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for good value, great service, and a surprisingly solid gym.

Very clean and spacious room. Over-use of fragrance in room, nothing that opening the balcony door for an hour couldn't solve. Didn’t appreciate being told there was no elevator when in fact there was one for a non-existent bell-hop. To be fair, it was used to bring our luggage upstairs in deference to my wife. Breakfast was more than adequate.

Very friendly staff, place was spotless everywhere, the sauna was a nice surprise. 2 kinds of sausage as well as hot potato wedges and many cold options for breakfast. Ask for a room at the back of the building to avoid highway noise.

Parking was a brease. Easy off Qew to the hotel. We asked for a wake up call of 7 a.m. and did not get it. When I asked the girl she said I did not see that. Luckly we were awake by 7.15 a.m. Breakfast was good but warmer would have been nice.

Clean room, functioning hvac with blessedly manual control. Quiet despite being adjacent to QEW highway. Easily accessible and lots of restaurants and services minutes away. Decent breakfast for a budget chain, with surprisingly good coffee!!

Our room was very clean and the staff were very helpful as we checked in and out and filled our needs. We would stay here again if we are in this area.

Surprised that the room was both dirty and had some mold in the bathroom. the floor was sticky when I walked in to my room. The breakfast - which is supposed to be included - was supposed to start at 6 a.m., but the reservations person said they couldn't get anyone to come in early to set up so breakfast was pushed back to 7 a.m.

Staff was not responsive and there was lot of bed bugs on the bed

The staff were very polite and accomodated a later check out, which we really appreciated. The rooms themselves weren't the best- there were crumbs and stains on the bedding, all the way down to the mattress. We had to switch rooms because the initial room smelled heavily of weed. The neighboring rooms and hallways stayed loud well into the night. Unfortunately would not stay again.

It's an older property, which is fine but the carpet was old, stained and musty. Also, the only window is a sliding patio door with no screen so it didn't seem safe to get fresh air! When it's close to$200/night I expect more.

The key cards keep getting demagnetized and we had to go to the front desk each time. We were in room 237, and I was in the bed closest to the wall, and I got bed bug bites the first of 2 nights. My room mate in the other bed did not have anything. It’s on the side of the highway in an industrial part of town, so the Expedia questions about “how is the vicinity” are hard to make the property shine. Good for where it is.

The reviews did not match the property! My biggest complaint is the rug! I was sticking as I walked and couldn’t walk without shoes and the cobwebs in the corner of the ceiling. The bedding was clean and the breakfast was good!

Good for a continental breakfast, busy so could be hard to find a table sometimes, ran out of meat for a while so had to wait but overall a good service. Room was great, clean - only issue was the charging ports at bedside (2x plugs, 1 USB, 1 USB-c) didn’t work so had to charge across the room.

Fridge didn’t work. Desk lamp flickered. No extra toilet paper & the roll had less than half left.

The room was spotless. The breakfast was very good with HOT coffee just the way I like it. Only drawback was road noise from a nearby highway.

Hotel itself is very outdated.. I was wondering if I was walking into a motel. But the actual rooms are more modern and clean, I enjoyed the stay.

Make sure to ask a room NOT on the side of the highway, could hear all the cars & trucks on QEW at night

The AC was unplugged when first arriving, which left us confused and hot since the plug was covered by the curtain. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable and the room was spacious with a large, modern TV and even a microwave. Not sure how a fly came into our room though.

Great hotel, rooms had been recently renovated and bed was very comfy. Walls are quite thin so it is a bit noisy. Shower head sprayed out the side which means it goes on the floor but this is just a maintenance issue which should be an easy fix, wouldn't put me off staying again

The properties in good shape however the ATM was empty. The visit was going well but then the GM loudmouth in the office pulled a boneheaded move. I told the front desk I was going to extend stay and go to the bank for some funds. Well I was a little late getting back to the hotel and asshat, that’s what I will call her checked me out early and pulled pall my stuff out of the room. Stayed at a lot of hotels over the years globally but you don’t pull stunts so immature and unprofessional. They knew my intent but couldn’t wait because asshat, MS. I’m in a tizzy and can’t contain myself. Never again will I stay at this location.

Check in was fast and courteous. There was a problem with a clogged sink on check in and the staff quickly moved us to a new and better room. The room was clean and well thought out. The breakfast was quite good and the coffee was excellent. Will definitely stay there again.

The staff here always makes you feel welcome and treat you like family.

Booked on hotels.com yet would not honor the booking or the hotels.com gift card used to pay for the room...front desk was no help at all. An absolute joke.

Hotel near main highway so noise and inconveniences to get to, drove passed twice since signage was barely visible.

Very good property with excellent complimentary breakfast, however the surrounding area is not that great compared to the inside of the property.

Good location. Good service by everyone. Safe and clean. And although the traffic on the QEW outside was quite noisy, the room (with the windows closed) was very quiet. No clock was in the room, so I suggest that a clock be placed in the room.

We’ve been coming to this hotel when we need a place to stay all the time. This is the first year we recognize a lot of difference from previous days we had there. Firstly, the hotel still did not get any kind of renovations as I mentioned in the past it’s still very old looking and not up-to-date in the room or in the lobby or in the dining room. Secondly, the reason why we loved staying here it’s because of the great hot meals breakfast every morning BUT this time it wasn’t great at all. It’s not the same chef because I know I spoke to that chef years ago in person and she was phenomenal and I think she has opened up her own business up north and good for her. But whoever took over the kitchen for breakfast daily is not up to par. We were disappointed it was the same food every day and it wasn’t appetizing like before. I’m pretty easy-going with things but this time I’m quite disappointed at my stay at this hotel, which was a four star to me in the past and now I gave it a two star because it doesn’t have that reading. I think it should have. The price was good for the stay, but it needs major renovations and they need to change up the meals for breakfast every day or every two days because it gets sickening plus the eggs scrambled eggs sorry is very dry Not the same chef. I can see the one that has a younger caterer chef the eggs scrambled is very dry. But the African or Jamaican women, she was good and friendly. The others were not friendly at all. I have to say.

very good quality breakfast, much better than most, clean comfy rooms with fridge, coffee maker, microwave, daily cleaning service included, all for a low price. unbeatable combination, we will go back.
