Staff were friendly and helpful even down to the kitchen Eggs Benny to our room for Sunday, mother's day breakfast as the restaurant booked out. Do note some sites say lift available to upper floors. Not so. Only 2 levels anyway but if you need accessible entry, Bok ground floor rooms. Queen Seaview Rooms large and Does have the sea view. Briiliant Also reasonable prices,and a pool, bar with cocktails and restaurant plus walking distance to a range of cafes and restaurants and a bottle shop on the first corner. Excellent!

Ground and first floor can be accessed 'at grade' at given points but from the rear car park it was necessary to use a half flight staircase to access room. This was a great room in a very handy location. Spacious and clean, modern bathroom and a nice view. The only negatives were the amenities. Restaurant and pub were closed. And the uninviting pool is a complete waste of space. A hole in the ground with water in it - no shade, no seating, no plants, nothing.

I have stayed here before and found it to be very handy to town, clean with welcoming staff. The rooms are not new but everything I could want for an overnight stay. Comfy bed, hot shower and good TV. I'll definitely stay again, Thanks.

The disgustingly stained and dirty carpets leading to the rooms, and rundown building exterior give a really bad first impression. But once inside the room it was freshly renovated, modern and clean. Very nice indeed

Room was simple and perfect for our weekend stay. Bed was very comfortable and the shower had amazing water pressure - very clean and functional room. We had a kettle and instant coffee/tea available, iron, small tv 32inch, small table with 2 chairs and a sofa in the room. We could see the port from the large window which spanned the whole width of our room. We had breakfast one morning from the attached restaurant and the coffee was amazing - I just had poached eggs on toast which was simple and nice. Pokies are next door but the venue was quiet so no disturbances.

For the price, very pleased with the cleanliness and amenities. The staff in the attached restaurant were lovely and the food was great. There were no early checkout instructions for when reception is closed, so it was unclear what to do with the room key. I recommend adding an out of hours key drop, or at least instructions in the room guide.

We went to check in but there was no staff, we had to walk into the cafe and ask. We were told only 1 staff member onboard so we have to wait. No microwave in the room. Cleaner seen us at 5am and asked what time are we checking out which made us feel unwelcome and she was too busy for us. Which was stupid because we were about their only customers that stayed there, now i see why noone stays there. Poor value for money.

Helpful staff. The room was very clean and functional. Great shower. It had everything we needed. Ate at the restaurant - and both the food and the service was really good. Booked last minute Grand Final weekend. Everywhere else had jacked up their prices - but Richmond Henty had not, and the price was half that of some other places that did not look as nice. Planning to stay there again.

Location was great - views of the harbour - very close to cbd. Tariff was good and very good value. My restaurant meal - seafood risotto was exceptional. I will definitely stay there again.
