Elevators were broken. Rooms are old. Headboard fabric was ripped.Toilet bowl ran constantly, even if you jiggled the handle , it would run for atleast 10 minutes. Tried sitting in front yard but it is in full sun with no umbrellas anywhere. They advertised a happy hour until sept 30th, 3-4 pm with $10 cocktails. When we finally found the bar, three staff members were sitting there, bar closed/locked, and we were told they were just discussing changing this promotion and it shouldn’t be on the board?! The only thing I can rave about was the delicious breakfast buffet ( not cook to order!) but the choices at the buffet were incredible.

We stayed in one of the chalets on the property and were happy that we did so. The main building is in poor shape and is old, noisy and maintained in ugly ways, for example with air conditioning pipes all over the facade. The chalets are also old but standalone and therefore quiet. The beds were old as well but we had 2 queens and 2 small beds and each had a bed to ourselves (we’re a family of four). The swimming pool is big and lovely, though, and the staff is very friendly. Our boys also enjoyed the playground. All in all: it is definitely not an iconic place, maybe it once was but not anymore but it is more than good enough to recommend to others.
