Great restaurant onsite!

Clean, good trailer parking, 24/7 check in. It was great. After staying in some less than clean more expensive places up north, this was pretty great. Continental breakfast was good too!

Very spacious, large rooms. Nice and quiet. The convenience of the lounge attached to the building was greatly appreciated. Service was very friendly and helpful.

Best stay in fort Nelson. Hope they fix the hot tub one day. Best suites and breakfast in town!

We always stay here when we travel through Fort Nelson. This is a quiet comfortable place to stay. Very nice amenities include a small well stocked shop and a wonderful lounge and restaurant. We'll be back soon!!

Gym is rundown, the hot tub was broken and leaked into the gym area making it smell. Hallways smell of smoke

Nice newer upscale hotel. Excellent linens. However the maintenance of the exercise area and whirlpool wasn’t good for a place of its size and room rate. The pool table and whirlpool were out of order and the tv didn’t turn on. The handles on the rowing machine fell off. Also one had to batter the door to get in.

Great stay while driving from Oregon to Alaska. Clean, nice lobby, elevator, convenient to restaurants.

Beds were horrible. Didnt have fitted sheets completely unsanitary. Cheap bedding and blankets. Lipstick stains on water glasses. Coffee pot not clean. Food in dinner disgusting. We previously stayed and lakeview and it was 100 times better just in a more sketchy side of town.

Only 1 cup of coffee???? I called down for a second packet of coffee (before the restaurant was open) and was told the limit is 1. Egads! Very dirty glass in the bathroom. Upside - $12 pizza on thursdays and really great breakfast!

We have stayed here multiple times. The room was quiet and the restaurant is excellent. You get a full made to order breakfast with your stay! Only 1 problem I had was with our quilt. The quilt was inside a coverlet, but it was not tied or pinned inside it. So, the quilt kept sinking to the bottom of the coverlet and falling off the bed during the night!

You need AC in there

Solid hotel, quiet and in great condition. WiFi needs improvement seems like it is difficult to connect and maintain connection and my VPN got kicked off repeatedly.

Traveling for Business. Room has been very spacious and clean.

Food was great and the people were great. The room we were in was too hot at night. Even with the heat off we sweated a lot. There weren’t individual lights at each bed which made it difficult for reading. Never saw this before.

Only two ice machines for six floors of rooms. Many channels on TV don’t work. TV out of date.

Spacious, clean room, comfortable beds, the shower design was for small people only, with an awkward bump in the tub surround. Breakfast was included (it was the first day for the restaurant to provide a prescribed breakfast instead of ordering off the menu, but it was still a good deal). I'm sure that once the renovations are over, the lobby and reception area will be good too.

Our room had a running toilet. They immediately moved us to another room.

I was surprised to know that a refrigerator is an upgrade for a room. It's the first time for my experiences. I would have liked to know to ask for a frige in the room, which I would have upgraded.

It is not a free breakfast, they are giving you a discount for breakfast, some of the stuff in the night shift needs more training before starting work, overall property is nice and clean, tasty breakfast

Check in was smooth and friendly!

The front desk staff went above and beyond to help me with a problem with my reservation. She did all the footwork that I would have expected to handle myself, on a night that I was truly in need of a little human kindness. The fact that she had to contact her manager at this locally-owned property suggests to me that this kind of attitude is common at Woodlands, not just one exceptional employee.

It as the best place that I stayed on my 5 night trip. Staff were friendly and very professional.

I booked via hotels.com I checked "pet friendly" and in my itinerary I specifically stated I had 2 well behaved 10lb dachshunds with me. I was suppose to check in at 8 pm but there was a wreck in Whitecourt where a train hit a fuel truck. We ended up being delayed 5 hours, showed up exhausted at 2 am. The front desk informed me that nobody actually looked at my notes, and they were not in fact pet friendly. I apologized, asked if there were any other hotels around, she informed me that none would be open at late so I was just going to sleep in my camper in the parking lot, but she was very kind and said she would not turn me away as long as they were good dogs. (They have traveled the world with me and are very well behaved) We literally went to our room and passed out. When I went to leave at 9 am the front desk person threw a fit, saying she needed to see their papers, and who approved the dogs and just accused me of lying and sneaking them in and threatening a $250 pet fee. I told her what had happened, she was still rude and said "I'll allow it this time" and "well Ill have to have a talk with my night clerk" even though I was already leaving and even if I didnt have my dogs with me again this rudeness from her has turned me off of every staying here again. I really hope the kindness of the night clerk doesnt get her fired as I am iternally grateful for her allowing me a warm soft bed after long 18 hour day on the road.

Construction in rooms all night long! There was no information about hotel being renovated. And yet they worked all night. No one at front desk to complain to. Got little sleep and left very early. Never again would we stay here.

New hotel. Right on the highway. Clean. I’ve stayed here twice and would stay again if driving through Fort Nelson again.

Beautiful place to stay, room was spacious, very clean, chairs and table. The hotel had a small grocery, a lounge and restaurant. All pluses. Quiet surroundings. Reasonable price.

We have stayed at this property many times on our travels. Would recommend it highly. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. It is quiet and safe here. Fort Nelson is a welcoming stop.

Bars very close, concern for safety and vehicle brake in. Person lingering at door grunting was staying in hotel. Could not have him remove. Door to room not lineing up to lock correctly. Charged 200$ incidentals fee, said it would be returned. Don’t know yet, if it is returned.

Generally very satisfactory. Breakfast was sit down and cooked to order, which is not usual for included breakfasts, but was more than enough and certainly more personal than usual buffet.

Very nice double room and an excellent hot breakfast made to order in the adjacent restaurant. the hotel issues a breakfast coupon ample enough to cover the cost of breakfast.

They recently changed their hot breakfast meal from a menu, which was excellent to a continental breakfast. That is very poor. Very disappointing it is what separated them from other places to stay in Fort Nelson.

After a long drive, there is a nice restaurant on site for dinner. Breakfast is exceptional as they give you a coupon for breakfast and you can order off the menu. Some things are under the coupon price and others are over. For a few bucks, I chose Eggs Benedict which is such a huge difference from other hotels that say they include breakfast!

Stay was excellent. Among the best on my trip from New Mexico to Alaska. The free breakfast was sit down and order from the menu.

My issue is with the service, if I paid for 3 people to stay why do I only get 2 breakfast vouchers ?? Don't tell me is too expensive because there are plenty of people that either leave too early or get up too late and you save that. Next the restaurant people are just plain lazy, open until 10PM is that the sign says, we walk in at 9:30 (we just got in town) they refuse to serve us food or drinks..Really?? The room it self is fine and the hotel is ok.

We stayed here while driving through in route to Alaska, the property was exactly what we needed. The beds were not super comfortable but otherwise the room was clean and the BREAKFAST was a BIG surprise, it was fresh and delicious and the staff at the restaurant was kind and accommodating :)
