Soy cliente de años y no había tenido oportunidad de regresar después de la pandemia y si noté cambios empezando porque se volvió de la misma “cadena” del hotel San Carlos plaza, y hubo cosas que no fueron de mi agrado. 1. El restaurant está cerrado 2. La barra para bebidas está cerrada 3. En mi corta estadía no tuve acceso a wifi a pesar que lo reporté desde que llegué y más de una vez 4. Ya no otorgan la cortesía de cápsula de jabón para lavandería 5. La habitación ya no tiene trapeador tipo fregona solo escoba y recogedor 6. Taparon las escaleras donde podías accesar al mar Te dan la opción que puedes disfrutar de las albercas, restaurantes y áreas del hotel San Carlos plaza. Creo que para la próxima mejor me hospedo en ese hotel porque en este ya no hay mucho porque regresar, ojalá y reconsideren y realicen cambios en el hotel, y que por lo menos aprovechen las áreas que no se están utilizando y que hagan una alberca más grande con vista al mar, ya que no es atractivo para familias porque no hay nada para niños solo un pequeño chapoteadero (ya quitaron los juegos) y tampoco para adultos porque ni siquiera servicio de bebidas existe

Lugar muy agusto y comodo, con una excelente vista. La alberca esta muy agusto, pero el agua es fria, tiene un jacuzzi con agua templeda muy comoda. No tiene restaurante ni ningun tipo de servicio extra, solo el alojamiento.

Property was secure and quiet. The staff was very nice! It was off season, and the bar and restaurant were closed. There are no vending machines or other ways to get food or drink. It was a little off putting after travelong all day, that we had to leave the hotel to get bottled water, dinner, and snacks.

We have stayed at this property many times. Unfortunately the on property restaurant and bar are permanently closed. We have also had some issues with getting housekeeping to clean our room and the floors seem like they need a deep cleaning.

The bathroom had a very bad smell, couldn’t get rid of it. Shower curtain was super dirty. Pressure in shower was low. Lastly, we were told that wifi was not working and that we should not expect it to be fixed. Worst stay I ever experienced.

The views are amazing. The place is clean, some loud neighbors but inside of the room is nice. I wish they had a small shop for basics or snacks, drinks, etc. the staff were great! Definitely will stay there next time in San Carlos.

I love this place and have stayed many times. The rooms are spacious and generally clean. This time I was very very disappointed in the condition of the bathroom. Hair on the shower wall, the plug for the tub did not work and the fan sound was loud and disturbing! I registered these complaints and the front desk seemed not to care about my experience at all.

Cleaning staff never came to make the room. Coffe kit only for the first morning. At least, they should have a coffe machine for mornings, had to drive for it. Great place, front desk staff 1st class

Loved the view and the rooms were spacious. Wifi never worked in any of our 3 different rooms. Their shower heads definitely need an update. Water pressure was spotty and completely stopped working in one room. Leaky toilet in our other room. Ran all night. Very loud and annoying.

Staff was very friendly, the studio room was very spacious and it included everything needed for a long stay. In addition - room was very clean and over-all the property was quiet.

We loved our room. It was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfy. The shower was awesome! Plenty of water, pressure and hot water. The kitchenette had everything we needed. And the ocean view is spectacular. The disappointing thing is that there is no access to a sandy beach without getting in the car and driving to the sister property a few hundred yards down the road. And, the swimming pool doesn't open until 9 AM. There is access to the water and it might have good snorkeling. But if you're looking for a sunrise or sunset beach walk, you're out of luck without getting into your car.

This is a wonderful property. The 1 bdrm suite is very spacious and well equipped. Would definitely stay again. Only disappointment was the weather it was cool & very windy.

My hubby and I stayed at Sea of Cortez Beach Club for 8 nights in order to "ring in the New Year" for 2024 !!! This hotel is PERFECT and exactly what we were hoping for !!! We had a Suite which was huge, complete with an entire kitchen (with dishwasher, two burner stove, and huge refrigerator, coffeemaker, etc), along with a balcony which overlooked the gorgeous ocean!!! The jacuzzi was the PERFECT temperature and was not very busy !!! Being that this is their "off season", we were not concerned that the bar was not open at the hotel. They gave us access to their neighboring hotel, the "San Carlos Hotel" and told us we could utilize their beach side bar and restaurant. Sea of Cortez Beach club is located on a BEAUTIFUL beach, but has a rocky beachfront from the hotel down to the beach. This was GREAT for my hubby to snorkel !! We did walk down the sandy beach in both directions (north and south), and we came upon two great little sandy beach restaurants to the north (approx 1.4 miles walk each way). The Sunset Bar and Grill and the Mesa Cortez restaurants had fantastic prices and food/alcohol !!! You will NOT be disappointed by hanging out at these locations to watch the sunset !!! San Carlos in general is EXTREMELY safe and we were impressed with the beauty of the area !!!! We LOVED our stay and met so many nice ex-Pats while visiting the area !!! We also did a sunset cruise on New Years Eve and had a BLAST on a catamaran !!! SUCH beautiful views !!!!

Los cuartos son limpios y tienen muy bonita vista al mar, el aire acondicionado enfría muy bien, tienen TV pantalla plana más no es smart TV por lo que no podrás ver Netflix o alguna plataforma, tienen cocineta y la limpieza de la habitación es buena, lo que no nos gustó es la playa privada del hotel está muy fea y Pedroza, tienes que caminar unos 5 min a la izquierda sobre piedras y montañitas para poder meterte al mar, es hotel hermano de se San Carlos plaza y te dan una pulsera para poder acceder a albercas y playa de ese hotel, SCP está ideal para meterte al mar ya que tiene arena no piedras y con eso se compensa la playa fea que tiene el hotel, tardaron una hora en entregarnos la habitación, cuando pregunté los de recepción dijeron que no sabían cuándo estaría lista pero que las horas que tardáramos en entrar las repondrían a la salida, en el momento puse queja Expedia y me recompensó con un cupón del 10 % por el inconveniente, las máquinas de hielo nunca tuvieron hielo, fuera de eso la estancia estuvo agradable la alberca es muy bonita, en general es un hotel limpio, en buen estado, con una alberca bonita e instalaciones cuidadas, la pasamos bien
Los cuartos son limpios y tienen muy bonita vista al mar, el aire acondicionado enfría muy bien, tienen TV pantalla plana más no es smart TV por lo que no podrás ver Netflix o alguna plataforma, tienen cocineta y la limpieza de la habitación es buena, lo que no nos gustó es la playa privada del hotel está muy fea y Pedroza, tienes que caminar unos 5 min a la izquierda sobre piedras y montañitas para poder meterte al mar, es hotel hermano de se San Carlos plaza y te dan una pulsera para poder acceder a albercas y playa de ese hotel, SCP está ideal para meterte al mar ya que tiene arena no piedras y con eso se compensa la playa fea que tiene el hotel, tardaron una hora en entregarnos la habitación, cuando pregunté los de recepción dijeron que no sabían cuándo estaría lista pero que las horas que tardáramos en entrar las repondrían a la salida, en el momento puse queja Expedia y me recompensó con un cupón del 10 % por el inconveniente, las máquinas de hielo nunca tuvieron hielo, fuera de eso la estancia estuvo agradable la alberca es muy bonita, en general es un hotel limpio, en buen estado, con una alberca bonita e instalaciones cuidadas, la pasamos bien

There’s a reason why this hotel is ranked among the best in San Carlos. The service sets this place apart. They behave like they are there to make sure you enjoy yourself instead of like SeaTerra and Casa Marie down the road, where service is rude and ghetto. Receptionist on their phone sort of thing. This place would rate 8 anywhere else but give the the competition in the vicinity, 9 is a good rating.

I really enjoyed my stay at Sea of Cortez Beach club, it was easy to get to, convenient, very clean and the rooms we had were spacious and very comfortable. Staff was very nice and hospitable. Beautiful Ocean views too! Just a bit noisy at night and the parking lot was small it is mostly designed for compact cars. Otherwise our stay was very enjoyable, I highly recommend this place :) SJ

My hubby and I stayed at Sea of Cortez Beach Club for 8 nights in order to "ring in the New Year" for 2024 !!! This hotel is PERFECT and exactly what we were hoping for !!! We had a Suite which was huge, complete with an entire kitchen (with dishwasher, two burner stove, and huge refrigerator, coffeemaker, etc), along with a balcony which overlooked the gorgeous ocean!!! The jacuzzi was the PERFECT temperature and was not very busy !!! Being that this is their "off season", we were not concerned that the bar was not open at the hotel. They gave us access to their neighboring hotel, the "San Carlos Hotel" and told us we could utilize their beach side bar and restaurant. Sea of Cortez Beach club is located on a BEAUTIFUL beach, but has a rocky beachfront from the hotel down to the beach. This was GREAT for my hubby to snorkel !! We did walk down the sandy beach in both directions (north and south), and we came upon two great little sandy beach restaurants to the north (approx 1.4 miles walk each way). The Sunset Bar and Grill and the Mesa Cortez restaurants had fantastic prices and food/alcohol !!! You will NOT be disappointed by hanging out at these locations to watch the sunset !!! San Carlos in general is EXTREMELY safe and we were impressed with the beauty of the area !!!! We LOVED our stay and met so many nice ex-Pats while visiting the area !!! We also did a sunset cruise on New Years Eve and had a BLAST on a catamaran !!! SUCH beautiful views !!!!

Lugar muy agusto y comodo, con una excelente vista. La alberca esta muy agusto, pero el agua es fria, tiene un jacuzzi con agua templeda muy comoda. No tiene restaurante ni ningun tipo de servicio extra, solo el alojamiento.

This property exceeded my expectations. It’s conveniently located near restaurants and the boat marina—especially accessible if you have a car. Security presence was consistent and reassuring, making me feel very safe throughout my stay. They also went above and beyond by informing us about high tides and the best times to enjoy the water. I’m already looking forward to returning to San Carlos just to stay here again.

Soy cliente de años y no había tenido oportunidad de regresar después de la pandemia y si noté cambios empezando porque se volvió de la misma “cadena” del hotel San Carlos plaza, y hubo cosas que no fueron de mi agrado. 1. El restaurant está cerrado 2. La barra para bebidas está cerrada 3. En mi corta estadía no tuve acceso a wifi a pesar que lo reporté desde que llegué y más de una vez 4. Ya no otorgan la cortesía de cápsula de jabón para lavandería 5. La habitación ya no tiene trapeador tipo fregona solo escoba y recogedor 6. Taparon las escaleras donde podías accesar al mar Te dan la opción que puedes disfrutar de las albercas, restaurantes y áreas del hotel San Carlos plaza. Creo que para la próxima mejor me hospedo en ese hotel porque en este ya no hay mucho porque regresar, ojalá y reconsideren y realicen cambios en el hotel, y que por lo menos aprovechen las áreas que no se están utilizando y que hagan una alberca más grande con vista al mar, ya que no es atractivo para familias porque no hay nada para niños solo un pequeño chapoteadero (ya quitaron los juegos) y tampoco para adultos porque ni siquiera servicio de bebidas existe

Property was secure and quiet. The staff was very nice! It was off season, and the bar and restaurant were closed. There are no vending machines or other ways to get food or drink. It was a little off putting after travelong all day, that we had to leave the hotel to get bottled water, dinner, and snacks.

Muy padre el hotel, habitación excelente, vista increíble. Lo único es que el restaurante cierra a las 3:00 pm, no hay mucha variedad de alimentos y de lo que si ofrecen, de todas maneras no tienen insumos. Tomen en cuenta que habrá que salir a consumir alimentos en otro lugar.

The room had a good layout, a comfortable sofa bed. It also had a kitchen with a small stove, cookware, dishes, microwave, and refrigerator. So you could cook if you wanted. The problem with this particular room was that the air conditioner returned to the living room first, and didn't quite cool off the bedroom. Since the bedroom faces the beach/sun, it heats up more. LR was fine. These are condos, so they probably each have an individual owner. He/she needs to invest in a ceiling fan for the bedroom and that would fix the problem. The internet never worked while we were there. My US phone would get signal on the balcony, but not inside the condo. The whole town had a problem with internet, so that could be part of the problem. But the staff was able to connect to the internet for their own administrative needs, while we couldn't in our room. They were nice and shared their internet but it didn't work all the way up in our room. The staff was friendly, and the infrastructure was good. It's a little bit older. But it's still a great place. They give you a bracelet where you can go to a hotel down the street which has resort amenities, like a restaurant, bar, kiddie areas and waterslides, stores , and an ice cream shop and and they even let you borrow towels before you go over there. All in all, it was really great. I just think our particular room had issues.We were in room 208. We're in the hottest time of the year, so maybe that's part of the problem with the AC.
