No one’s fault but they were painting the entire facility on the weekend that we were there, Thanksgiving weekend. So parking was a bit problematic because you couldn’t park anywhere near the motel or if you did, you had to move it at seven. Other than that, everything was fine.

The room is clean, the staff are friendly and accommodating and parking is good. The only issue is no elevators which is difficult for seniors like me and my husband. Otherwise, our group of 14 had a very great time at the hotel

On arrival I was informed my room was on the second floor- only problem - there’s no elevator. The front desk staff were able to accommodate me with a ground floor room! Above and beyond!

The breakfast menu was quite tasty. It was easy to grab and enjoy a variety of items. Coffee was tasty too. Parking was easy and we were able to park in section closest to our room. Bedroom was very comfortable and clean.

One half of hotel is being painted. Exterior. Can’t park near motel. Windows covered in plastic. Can’t see out. AC covered in plastic. AC not useful. Old carpets. Old bed. I guess painting outer walls is a start. I would put in modern flooring and purchase beds first.

Both evenings that I stayed there was very limited parking when I arrived around 10pm. Wednesday evening, June 19th. there were 2 cube trucks parked taking up valuable parking. One took up 4 spaces and the second truck took up 6. I had to pull in between 2 large trucks that were sitting on the parking lines. Large "cube" trucks should be required to park elsewhere.

Room was supposed to be non-smoke but has very bad smoke smell in it. I complained and the front desk lady came to room and said it doesn’t smell like it and gave me room freshener can t spray during my stay. My wife and kids looked at each other and shook their heads. There were no other rooms available to change to so we had to suck it up.

We stayed on the second floor near one of the exits and everytime someone left or came in the door would slam and was extremely annoying and loud. You can hear everything ........Also, the shower had low water pressure which made showering interesting.

Actually the hotel offers everything we wanted, we enjoyed a good sleep, bath and breakfast, it was clean and the staf is super. But: the look and feel of the hotel is outdated even while the decoration and some furniture is new. The lobby has older seats and wooden tables and does not look as nice as it looks on the foto´s. There is lots of brown and beige, and also dark curtains and carpet. Put in new curtains, laminated floor, lots of white and it will be much nicer

We arrived very late and during a snow storm, the receiving staff member was very friendly, made jokes and was very accommodating. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was good and the room was very clean. Would stay here again.

The young man at reception was very welcoming at check in. He had a great understanding of the new electronic sign in system. The building did have some work being done (drywall and paint) which was nice to see. The area was cleaned and did not affect my stay. A great stay at a very reasonable rate. Thank you.

Location just enough away from the highway. Outside of building could use a tidyup and windows could be cleaned. Breakfast options were simple but the fresh fruit was very much appreciated. Staff were welcoming and great to deal with.

Staff are efficient, hotel is clean, well-lit and the layout is quite simple with good flow- lots of stair access from parking that surrounds the building. This is a very good place to stay if you are up north for a few days doing some outdoor activities. Around the vicinity are retail establishments, fast-food, a mall, Metro, Canadian Tire, Shoppers Drug, etc. You won't lack for anything during your stay.

Comfortable stay, but the AC/heater controls didn't work and the unit was unplugged. The breakfast is fine, but the coffee is terrible. Staff are nice and helpful

Very comfortable room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pleased that the breakfast included hot options like bacon, sausage and eggs, but breakfast room was too small and full some days. Enjoyed our stay overall and would choose this hotel again.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn while visiting Algonquin Provincial Park. It was the perfect stop, just one hour away from the visitor centre. The king bed was super comfortable and warm, the room was clean and spacious. We watched the Leafs game on the TV and had a great night's sleep. The towels are soft and the shower has good water pressure. The breakfast in the morning really sealed the deal: not only we got fresh waffles, but also fresh pancakes. I would come back to this Comfort Inn any day!

Always a reliable Choice. Excellent breakfast options- waffle machine, super cool pancake machine, egg patties, boiled eggs, sausages, yogurt, oatmeal packets, oranges, apples, butter tarts, a variety of muffins, English muffins, bagels, slice bread. Have stayed at this hotel multiple times a year for a very long time. As always a great breakfast and staff. However rooms appear to need some minor upkeeping. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms was fine. Tv was fading and the room showed some signs of needing to be touched up. Still highly recommend for its location, staff and breakfast.

The property was clean, but unfortunately it felt very old and outdated. There was also a very strong damp and musty smell throughout the house. We checked in and stayed for only about an hour before deciding that we could not stay there. We checked out and left that same night.

Wir waren für eine Nacht hier, da das Hotel auf unserem Weg in den Norden des Algonquin Provincial Park lag. Für eine Übernachtung ist es zweckmässig, allerdings etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Kleine Verbesserungen wie neue Nachtvorhänge oder ein neuer Teppich im Flur würden bereits viel ausmachen. Besonders störend waren die Zimmertüren, die beim Schliessen ein sehr lautes Geräusch verursachten. Die Türen anderer Gäste waren dadurch ständig deutlich zu hören, auch während der Nacht, was die Nachtruhe beeinträchtigte. Für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp grundsätzlich geeignet, für einen längeren Aufenthalt würden wir jedoch ein anderes Hotel wählen.
