The staff are very friendly and helpful, the price was right, the room was clean and comfortable and the pool, fitness centre and sauna looked nice (although we didn't use them). There's even a pool table! The only downsides are that the walls are very thin and a normal volume conversation can easily be heard in neighbouring rooms. (Earplugs fixed this) Also, the 'hot tub' was cold, had broken jets sticking out into the water, and was very dirty. Was it as expected? Yes. Would we stay there again? Absolutely.

The room was good, the bed was comfortable, it had ac which is awesome in Medicine Hat heat. The pool was freezing cold, and the hottub was not what i was expecting. The hallway to the hottub had water allover the floor due to a roof leak and some of the ceiling was falling down. Breakfast was very good. Overall it was not a bad stay. There just needs to be a little more maintenance done to the building.

We stayed here for a week, the rooms were nice, full kitchen, the staff were amazing, friendly, always greeted us, asked if everything was ok.the pool was a good size and warm. I will stay here again with my family for sure, best hotel Ive been in.

Worst hotel I have stayed at. I have never left a negative review before now. Room smelled like cigarettes. Mouse poop in lobby area. We chose not to eat breakfast there. Entertainment area in basement was moldy. It rained and roof just dripped in the floor. No one attempted to clean up. Hot tub was ice cold. Small closet area filled with moldy towels by hot tub. Pool table had random balls and 1 cue. Smelled moldy. Pool area was grungy and moldy. Would not recommend.

Stayed for 1 night enroute to Alberta. This was a comfortable motel with good service. New comfortable beds, although facilities are dated, the room was clean. Location is perfect - just off the Trans-Canada highway and restaurant, grocery stores nearby. Breakfast was hot and good. Would stay here again.

Male receptionist was friendly. Rooms are big but definitely need remodelling & to be updated. Curtains looked filthy, bathroom fan did not work & carpet definitely needs to be replaced by laminate flooring to make it look much cleaner!! AC worked well. Go to Pincher Creek Econolodge to visit to see the perfect example on how to have a clean room!!!

Lobby was really nice so I through me room would be too. That wasn’t the case the floor and walls were dirty and the room smelled musty and moldy. The bed frame was made of ordinary lumber not even painted. The door to the outside had a gap you could see through. I was not impressed

The air conditioning was very good. The room was very comfortable very clean although we didn't use the kitchenette it was all complete with everything that you would need.I talked to the cleaning staff and they were very nice. The continental breakfast was very good. I would definitely recommend to stay at this Motel when in Medicine Hat.

Check in was easy. Walk into an very nice front desk area and continental breakfast area. You get the keys to the room and you wonder if you are at the same hotel. I wish there was some honesty. The room was relatively clean but very dated. Walls are paper thin so you hear everything the next room is doing/ saying. Hotel is literally beside highway one which is very busy and loud. Very noisy place. You definitely get what you pay for no surprises $73/ night is too much to pay for this hotel.

Rooms were starting to look run down. Toilet wasn’t fastened to the floor very well. Table and chairs rocked. And a blanket we got from front desk had a cigarette burn in it. The person working at the front was sitting in the lobby like another customer. And wasn’t very receptive to the fact a customer needed something. Also listening to their phone at the front desk quite loudly which was disturbing those having their breakfast.

Given a room someone else already occupied, mobved yo a different room that was smaller and less inviting. Went for dinner, came back and discovered front staff had opened wrong room for us. We did not have access to our belongings. Again had to go down and have someone let us in to the room and we had to move our belongings AGAIN into the correct room. Not a favorable review. Not even a coffee maker in the 3rd room. Just do yourself a favor and skip this place all together.

The staff were exceptional, very accommodating and eager to please. The rooms and facilities are in need of some upgrading, but mostly functional and for the price, it was a good deal. I have never seen TV's as big as these in any motel/hotel. The location is nice and central. If you are visiting during the Christmas season, look for the apartment building about a block away. The decorations are awesome.

all was well actually not going to lie the beds were so comfortable and the room is very huge and it was bug and smoke free there was some damages to the ceiling and faucet but you plan a quick stay not to live there so that's fine and the night guy staff was so accommodating and friendly and you can even use debit or cash here but the owner guy and the day female staff began to accuse us of smoking in the room to try make a quick $400 off of us it's clearly a LIE because we have our 3 year old daughter who has asthma other then trying to scam me the hotel is a good place to stay breakfast is ok if you like microwave eggs used in the same dish over and ovet

Rooms were starting to look run down. Toilet wasn’t fastened to the floor very well. Table and chairs rocked. And a blanket we got from front desk had a cigarette burn in it. The person working at the front was sitting in the lobby like another customer. And wasn’t very receptive to the fact a customer needed something. Also listening to their phone at the front desk quite loudly which was disturbing those having their breakfast.

Stayed for 1 night enroute to Alberta. This was a comfortable motel with good service. New comfortable beds, although facilities are dated, the room was clean. Location is perfect - just off the Trans-Canada highway and restaurant, grocery stores nearby. Breakfast was hot and good. Would stay here again.

The room was good, the bed was comfortable, it had ac which is awesome in Medicine Hat heat. The pool was freezing cold, and the hottub was not what i was expecting. The hallway to the hottub had water allover the floor due to a roof leak and some of the ceiling was falling down. Breakfast was very good. Overall it was not a bad stay. There just needs to be a little more maintenance done to the building.

The air conditioning was very good. The room was very comfortable very clean although we didn't use the kitchenette it was all complete with everything that you would need.I talked to the cleaning staff and they were very nice. The continental breakfast was very good. I would definitely recommend to stay at this Motel when in Medicine Hat.

It was a clean, economical place to stay for a one night stop over. The room itself was large and clean, but dark. Breakfast was decent but had limited choice. The exterior of the property could use some love. Overall it worked for our needs.

Terrible place to stay. Never ever stay there again. Should have known with Econo in the name. Tub faucet continuously dribbling all night. Weather stripping flapping in the wind at the door. Beds were positioned away from the wall, so your pillows kept falling in between. No could not push bed against wall to close gap. Some random guy was walking around in his underwear from his room to another. Gross...
