I love the place. The staff is amazing very welcoming. The room is ok. Not luxurious. It has a stove, pots and all kitchen utensils. My daugter said it's a one bedroom apartment.

Room was mouldy and stinky! I got allergies! I had to go to Shoppers Drug Mart to get anti allergy medication! I wanted to switch to another room but, they said they were all sold out. Finally, they offered me a room with door lock issue. I had no choice than to accept the offer and, spend the night somehow! This is the worse hotel I have ever stayed!

Pet friendly and large room. However clumps of hair on the carpet, obviously either not vacuumed before our visit or there vacuum needs to be replaced with a stronger vacuum. King size bed was very old and lumpy. Definitely needs to be replaced. Outside of hotel was very dirty, bugs and dirt all over doors, railings and windows outside. A few small changes like cleaning up outside of hotel, cleaning room properly and replacing mattress’s when worn out could make this hotel a good place with pets to stay.

BED BUGS!! I had booked for 3 nights but left after one night because we were badly bitten by bugs. The lady at the front desk agreed to refund for the 2 nights but didn't believe or agree that the property has bugs. I shared the pictures of bug bites with Expedia support as well.

La chambre aurait besoin d’un bon nettoyage.. les lits étaient propres ..mais les oreillers sont médiocres.. les coins de plafond démontraient des fils de poussière .. la pomme de douche aurait besoin d’un bon coup de CLR.. le déjeuner etait pauvre en choix (toast/cereales/mini omelette/mini gaufres/ mini saucisse.. le jus de pomme goûtait rien .. on a pas essayé le café

Lower than a 1-star. Horrific, overpowering for of mould, decay, and dampness. So bad we could not stay beyond one night. Hotel is run down, stains, splatters on walls. Wallpaper patches, falling paint chips. Generational layers of dirt. TV needed 2 remotes, no list of channels…most channels did not work. Holes in our towels and facecloths not properly washed…stained.

Myself and husband were shocked to notice when we returned to the hotel to go to bed that there was blood all over our sheets and the lamp shade as well, just disgusting told the front desk brought us new bedsheets so at 12:45am we had to change our sheets we didn’t even sleep in the bed after that or use the hot tube as we we’re disgusted and we decided to check out instead of spending a second night as we were so tired and again disappointed and disgusted with the blood can’t believe this happened to us :(. And we were not even offered another room or our money back nothing. When we checked out the girl didn’t even ask us if everything was ok just took our keys and that was it!

Some of staff was rude when asking questions Notes: I had taken photo images of all points made. The tile had mold on floors Bed sheets had coffee stains inside by ankle area Bed cover had cigarette burn hole Iron had dark stains transferred to my white shirt ( in town for a wedding) In general I would recommend Expedia because your hotel rating was not at all accurate. The room was near the back door which was broken and insecure. G

Room was clean and smelled nice. Not too much soundproof walls as noises beside us could be heard. Quite place overall, though. A bit pricey for the location and amenities but lower prices on anything is a thing of the past. Breakfast was nice but could use more variety.

The hotel room was clean and fairly well updated. The staff was nice and helpful. The only “complaint” that I have was that the shower heads need to be changed to a low pressure model as the water literally poured out of it, no shower whatsoever ever, like cleaning yourself under a high faucet. I would stay here again as the price was right and the rooms are nice.

I traveled with my family(2 adults and 2 kids) and we enjoyed the stay at this hotel. The room was clean, everything was in good working condition(microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker), the toiletries were replaced every day and the breakfast included was a good option.

We had a spacious room with a view of the Bay of Quinte. The parking lot is in front of the property rather than close to the rooms, so we had to carry our luggage a long way. Breakfast was adequate. Overall, this is a decent budget option.

Tiny plates at breakfast. Limited variety. Orange juice looked brown and tasted slightly off. I liked the room amenities and size, but our room was overcome by the very strong smell of curry. It was so strong. I turned in the kitchen fan and left it running all night but the smell was still pretty bad in the morning. Husband thought the shower was not super clean. For $176, we are not set on coming back.

Not friendly at check in, barely soeaks to you...same at checkout, got nothing, not a single wirk when I adked for a printed receipt, just uninterested....teams were on site, playing floor hockey in the hall, on the main floor, steps from the Front Desk...other Guest and I had to yell at these kids to STOP! UNREAL, that the Front Desk didn’t stop it. No parents around....semi clean, musty smell, nothing special.

Friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and quiet. TV wasn't working when we arrived but they had it fixed promptly. Breakfast was pretty limited and in a small area. We never stayed for breakfast but all in all, it was OK. We stayed at a Comfort in the night before and we paid $226.00 tax in. Price was $287.00 here and not worth the price considering the location and amenities.

The staff were the most helpful in carrying our luggage to our room. I had my husband who is handicapped and our service dog. In the morning they took our luggage from our room and put it all in our car.The nicest, most helpful owners we have met on all of our travels.I tried to tip them for their extra service and they would not accept it. Outstanding, family owners.

Friendly and helpful staff definitely made a difference for my review here. Property is of average to poor condition, which was the main issue I had. 2 lamp lights, neither can be tuned on/off with their switches. Curtains are a bit dusty. Windows outside are full of spider webs and dead insects. However, on the plus side, room was a decent size, updated shower room, good breakfast selection, mini fridge was useful, walking distance to the lake! Shopping and restaurants do require a short drive

The hotel was alright. It's an older hotel, but was clean. The only thing we didn't like was the pillows. The breakfast was pretty good. The usual stuff. Cereal, bread, fruit, bagels, scrambled egg patties and sausage rounds. Staff was friendly as well. My wife and I would stay here again if we're going that way.
