This is a friendly, clean, and well-cared for inn on the side of the road in the cute town of Allegan. The beds were moderately comfortable by big-name chain hotel standards, but this is a wonderful family-owned hotel with more character than a Hilton. We asked about EV chargers, and it turned out they offer one for a flat $10 in their own parking lot. Got our battery halfway full in six hours and saved us from having to wake up a half hour earlier to charge and continue our trip. We didn't try the pool and only grabbed some fruit from the free breakfast on our way out, but everything is clean and the staff are attentive. I would trust them for the next time we come back through.

It was clean and quiet. The pool was closed though and I was not notified of this after booking. They did reach out to inform me my room was upstairs with no elevator access. I appreciated them informing me of this.

Everything was fine, but the jets were broken on the hot tub, which they did not disclose when I asked, and the door latch inside was broken in half. Not a big deal, and we were exhausted when we we arrived so we didn't make a fuss. Otherwise very clean and nice.

I would describe this hotel as a 1990s hotel time capsule. Overall it's a bit strange and is like stepping back in time. However its was very clean and everything worked and it was priced competitively. They had a small breakfast selection, plenty of parking, and even a Level 2 EV charger (Though they did charge $10 to use it)

I have to recognize the effort invested in both money and time to get this dated property up to modern standards. It is clear that they also clean the public areas and the rooms up to modern standards as well. The room AC worked as expected. I’m not a fan of the water-saving sprinkler bathroom faucet, but maybe I’m the only person. It was quiet and restful. I would definitely stay here again.

I was attending the Michigan Wool and Fiber Show. The hotel was very close to the fairgrounds. The room was very comfortable. The bathroom was a little dated but was well maintained and very clean.

I was really impressed. Very nice place. I come to this area often and have driven past this proprert hundreds of times. I am so glad I decided to gove it a try. Very nice place. Good beds, large lovely bathroom. Convenient to the downtown area. Very nice place.

The property doesn't have many amenities, but it's great as a budget friendly motel. The rooms are clean, but very dated. The beds are average comfort, but fine for a night or two. Good spot to have as a home base for your activities around that part of the state, without having to spend high end dollars on hotels closer to the action, if you don't mind a 20 minute drive to the lake. I would be happy to stay again and give it 4 stars. It's a good budget hotel.

The people that run the place are extremely friendly, hospitable and cordial. I do however feel the rooms need to be updated a little more. The Jacuzzi I paid extra for didn’t really work and it was extremely hard to get the cold water running. The bedding was not at all comfortable, and the beds are extremely hard.

Our stay at this motel satisfied everything that we needed for a motel stay. The person at front desk was very polite and personable. The room was large. The bed was comfortable and they provided plenty of pillows. The air conditioning worked very well, better than most motels. Plenty of USB outlets and internet. The one thing we missed was that the pool was not open, although they stated that on the website. The only thing we didn’t like was that the bathroom in this particular room did not have a counter to lay your supplies on — just a sink and toilet and shower. Otherwise, we have no complaints. We would recommend this motel to our friends and family.

The staff/owners were very accommodating. The space is dated, however, safe and very clean! I have stayed there two different times on a business trip and have been pleased both times. There is no elevator, that may be an issue for some people.

Staff was super nice and accommodating when we arrived right before the office closed at 12. Despite the somewhat sketchy area as 2 young girls arriving late at night we were able to check in and bring in all our bags safely. great place, nice, good workers, and affordable.

Allegan MI has several wedding venues but bigger name hotels are further away. This one is easy to access, so local, and turned out to be clean, quiet, safe, and so economical. And amazingly, it was down the block from the county fair.

Hotel was in a nice area that was perfext for traveling to other cities. Many ammenities such as WiFi, AC, breakfast, and parking. Staff was very nice and welcoming. Sheets had some staining but that was the only indcidence whereas the rest of the unit was clean. Really enjoyed my stay!

We appreciate that the room was warm when we checked in. Our room was clean, comfortable and well lit. Breakfast was fine and the coffee was hot (although small cups meant two trips). I would recommend this hotel for this small town.

First, the hotel was VERY clean. Second, the interior is very dated. It needs to be updated. Third, breakfast was very limited. Basically a toaster for bagels, or bread. No eggs or meat. Fourth, there was tv evangelist playing in the lobby during breakfast. Anything else, even an infomercial, would be better. Lastly. I would stay again if I had no other option.
