So there's no fitness room, and no breakfast, but the place is amazing. Every room has a balcony overlooking the bay. The huge backyard, for lack of a better term also has a deck, and there's plenty of room to roam, relax, or hit the water when the weather is better. We were there in November, and saw some guy doing the polar plunge. But there's an indoor heated pool, and hot tub so you can enjoy the water year round. The lobby has plenty of goodies for sale at reasonable for a hotel prices. There's coffee, including a flavor of the day (maple when we went) and a Nespresso machine that will give you pretty much whatever you want. I can't recomment this place enough.

Great location with wonderful property and views. Good staff. This hotel does not offer breakfast and our bed was not very comfortable. The room was clean and the pool/ jacuzzi area was very nice.

Staff was excellent! I was two hours late in checking out of the hotel and they were more than understanding and extremely accommodating! Otherwise, check-in went smoothly and rooms are as indicated. Only issue was that I found the pool and the hot tub to be a bit smelly.

Room was clean and set to a nice warm temperature when we arrived. Nice comfy bed. Front desk staff all very friendly. The pool area is absolutely gorgeous and the hot tub and sauna were amazing for a chilly evening and a nice start to the day in the morning as well. Would definitely stay here again!

My husband & stayed for one night as part of a coastal trip to cycle in Belfast area. The room was spacious and had a coffee maker, small frig & a balcony. We really enjoyed using the pool and hot tub. It was a convenient location and after dining at a nearby lobster pound, we got to sit around the outdoor fire pit and chat w other guests. Overall a good place to stay. The staff were very friendly & helpful too.

From the moment you check in to the moment you check out the Staff are very helpful and pleasant. The grounds are well maintained with beautiful flowers and the grounds behind the hotel (your view from your room) are well taken care of with kept up lawns with lots of Adirondack chairs leading to a beach at Penobscot Bay. Don’t worry if you think you might of forgot to pack something because the hotel has a store in the lobby that has just about everything you might of forgotten. They also have coffee, tea and hot chocolate at no cost. You can use the hotel bicycles on a first come basis. But everything else is at a cost. It is just a nice place to go to and relax.

This amazing place has room views of the Penobscot Bay! The rooms are spacious and so clean and comfortable! They don't have a breakfast but we grabbed fast food not far away. We stayed here to spend some time seeing Belfast. They have an outdoor seating area with a fireplace table! The views are amazing! They have an expansive lawn that goes all.the way down to the bay. They have lawn chairs, a large chess game outside! You will be very glad you stayed here!

Views were great but the room was terribly outdated (looked about 50 years old) with vinyl floors and it was dirty in the vents, and in the corners with of the room and back of the closet with dust and hair. The prices were also outrageously high for what it was. No restaurant on site though they did have snacks and basic breakfast items available for sale in the lobby. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

The elevator had a very strong mold/mildew odor. Perhaps not having carpeting in elevator where it goes to the pool would be helpful. Took only the short ride to trigger my asthma. Rest of stay was great. Just avoided the elevator.

Every room has a water view, bed and bedding was excellent, Keurig coffee makers and fridge, excellent big screen TV. The hotel sits high on a hill with a commanding view of the water, the property offers an unencumbered walk on a manicured lawn down to the water, wonderful place to be for humans and dogs. Highly recommended!

The view was nice but a long way down if you want to see the beach ( which was rocky as advertised) the pool area was good pool and sauna nice but the hot tub was small and needed some attention Room was nice sized but we unfortunately had a few dogs and young kids by us that got up way earlier then us Staff was very friendly

The morning staff was rude. My daughter and I entered the pool at 8am. We were the only one's there until 8:45 when the morning manager came and told us to get out, because it was adults only for the next 15 min. I offered to leave if anyone came and that it was only 15 minutes. He refused to negotiate and was very rude. Odd policy to bar children from the pool during the first hour of the day, whoever planned that has never traveled with kids. Will never go back

Loved the staff and getting to know them. I’m glad I spent a whole week there with my WELCOMED dog. She loved it there, too. The walk down to the water was a delight. The room was comfortable and anyone would easily notice the building is SO WELL MAINTAINED and loved by all who work there. I’ll miss being there. Oh, and the fact that every room has THE VIEW is amazingly great original planning.

The grounds were lovely with beautiful flowers, lawn games and an ocean view. The location is convenient to Belfast and points north or south on route one. Dogs are frequent guests at the inn, so bear that in mind. The manager was responsive and thorough with an issue that arose. I was pleased with the manner in which it was resolved.

The staff has their children at check-in counter in swim suits & running down to the hot tub, very unprofessional. We could hear the tv in the next room all night long. There appears to be someone living in the end bottom units, smoking outside all the time we were there.

Fun place to stay on a family vacation going around Maine. Staff is awesome and super friendly. Location excellent with Belfast downtown and all the area has to offer. View is amazing with yard for kids to run around and fire pit for adults to have a drink. Pool is fun too.

Great Location. Near Young's Lobster Pound and Perry's Nut House. Within a few minutes to downtown Belfast. Incredible view of the Bay. You can walk down to the water . You can't swim there, but can look at the rocks and shoreline.

Hotel was clean but a little dated. Very nice view and amenities on the property. Nearby was kind of run down and not much to do. The ADK chairs and the view made morning coffee nice. Bring your own breakfast - none provided. Do try Chase’s Daily in Belfast - amazing food and ice cream. Also be sure to make the drive to the Lost Kitchen - just 30 minute drive in the country!

We loved the view of the ocean, hot tub, and pool - especially adult only hours. No free breakfast but that was ok. Bathroom sink has draining problems and bathroom a bit run down overall but the low price made up for that. Would recommend!

The view is fantastic. The staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The only downfall is no breakfast in the morning, you buy basic food items, otherwise, I would recommend to anybody going to Belfast!
