Great property on the beach. Beautiful pool and grounds. The room was appointed well and cozy and upscale. I would definitely stay again. There were limited food options for breakfast but the bar seemed well visited during the evening. The music at the pool plays all night. There is a fan just outside the patio door for the room. Unless the fan is off it is really loud making the balcony unusable.

I booked via expedia. I elected to not require cancelation insurance. I called the front desk and was told they had a working hot tub. This is why i reserved a room there instead of the Westin. I arrived after mudnight and was told the hot tub was working in person. That's all i wanted ! I woke and watched people move toward the pool. I told my fiance we needed to get out there now because i wanted to soak before it was crowded.. we dressed for it, got inside the pool area just to find it was caution taped off and not in service. The front desk said " they just needed time". I explained time is something i didn't have.. i will never return ! I booked a room at the Westin and we went there to be poolside.. i called that evening to ask about the hot tub. They said it wouldn't be fixed that day.( i had hoped it would be since several hours had passed.. I had two hotels booked in one day. I paid for two rooms because i went for a 2 day excursion to relieve stress just to be upset and worse off the when i woke to begin my day.. Never again ! The Westin came through.. i just wish they kept the hot tub.

The balcony was very scenic! The hotel had lots of amenities including games, lots of outdoor activities, heated pool and hot tub, and so much more. Lots of pups and the walk to the beach is very short!

Oh wow is this a great place! Amazing location right on the beach. Beautiful sunrise. Hotel is modern, bed super comfy. Service was great. Bikes to use. Pool and gym felt like it was as high end resort. A few spots could be a little cleaner like the fire pit furniture and the bar bathroom. Overall this is a super place to stay for a mellow beach getaway.

Room was comfortable, but it appeared they did not quite finish cleaning. There was a carpet spot cleaner spray container left next to a spot on the floor. The tile hallway and bathroom area had not been mopped and had sticky shoe prints. The showerhead was covered in black and green that I can only assume was mold and calcium build up. The bathroom did not have a fan, so it stayed very humid after showers. We have stayed at this located for the past 3 years this time of year for a cheer competition and this was the first year the cleanliness has come into question. Next year, I will probably try somewhere new on the island to stay.

Multiple live roaches found in room. Several “supposed” clean towels in the bathroom had hair on them. Gross. Stripped the sheets off the bed just to be sure they were clean. Appeared to be. But, who knows??

This was one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in! Property was unkempt and not updated. Not to mention the bathroom was so disgusting that I had to buy cleaning supplies from a nearby Walmart and clean it. There was no breakfast available and for what I received it was not worth the price by any stretch of the imagination. And if management had at least tried to alleviate my concerns it would have been different but they did not care. Do yourself a favor and chose another location on Jekyll Island.

Checked in for a long weekend. Upon arrival noticed the carpet in the room was wet near the sliding glass door and air conditioner. Notified front desk and they attempted to clean the carpet. By the next morning, the room smelled extremely mildewy and just generally a terrible odor that would just about knock you back when we walked into the room. Attempted to change rooms by hotel was fully booked. So we had to pack up our stuff and go find ourselves another property to stay at. You would think at a minimum the hotel would at least comp the night. But instead, they charged us full freight plus the daily destination fee and we had to pack up all of our stuff and move to an another hotel about half mile down the beach. Terrible customer service philosophy.

Lobby us really large and nice, felt more "upscale" than the price suggested. The beachside room was the perfect concept and up to date with great TV, balcony furniture, etc. However, there were 3 problems related to cleanliness. There were a couple strands of long hair in the shower when we arrived. There were bandages stuck over the light on the smoke alarm. I get the need, because I hate the bright lights on those things, but it was filthy looking with the bandages. There was one tiny (gallon sized) trash can in the bathroom, no others in the room. Most places we stay have 2 or 3 that are small but still 3 times the size of the one here. After a two-night stay, we had bagged trash stacked around it. The evening staff at the desk were very pleasant. The morning guy was disinterested and kind of a professional looking grouch.

First off, the staff is absolutely fantastic - from the front desk staff to the grounds keepers. All friendly, competent and efficient. The hotel is nice - clean, beautiful grounds, nice pool. But, the bed is hard, the very bright flashing light from the fire detector (every seven seconds) and the air conditioning cycling made for very long and restless nights. Also, our “ocean front” room was ocean “adjacent and we awkwardly looked at others on their balconies. As a result, not worth the >$300 per night price tag. We ended up cutting our vacation 3 days short.

We booked an ocean view, I called to confirm it was ocean view. When we arrived and got to our room it WAS NOT. The balcony upgraded room I asked for (rm 211) looked at the roof, when you sat in the chairs provided you couldn't see the ocean either. You had to stand on the chair and lean over railing at an angle to see the water. I immediately went back downstairs and asked for another room. We spent 4 nights here, the first night in the awful room. They moved us the next day, to room 411, but not until after we spent our afternoon waiting for the room to get ready instead of sight seeing. The staff was helpful, female bartender and chair and umbrella guy at beach were very knowledgeable. It was a really stressful way to start vacation.

The property is pretty right on the beach, the beds are hard as rock and the pillows are completely flat. That alone would keep me from staying again, I’m sore all over and the terrible sleep plus a 5 hr drive home is just not going to cut it for me again. Food from the shore was fine, breakfast was non-existent, the one morning we tried to order something they were out of everything (this was very early in the morning also) so we had to leave the property for a decent breakfast. If you consider yourself a resort one should never have to leave the property.

Arry, was the guest receptionist who gave a poor reception and impression of this property‼️ He was Smug, Arrogant and not helpful at all. When we went to our room which I believe Arry gave us the worst room because we went through Hotel.com and NOT the property directly, he penalized us. We requested and paid for a room with an ocean view and he gave us the absolute very end room whereby we had a sliver of an ocean view‼️ he stated that was the only room left when check-in was 4P and we arrived approximately 5P. I did not believe him, but there was nothing we could do except see the Manager on duty the following day since, according to Arry, the manager had left for the day. Once in the room, the bed looked unkempt with extremely wrinkled sheets instead of crisp and clean. The following day, I spoke with the Manager on duty who politely listened and gave us a $50 food voucher, however there is a $30 destination fee per day and we were there for three. They have a refresh room service policy that is not effective and when asked to have our linen changed, the house cleaning team made it clear that we placed them in an imposition since they left dirty linen and towels directly in front of our room door. This required me to relocate the dirty laundry down the hall. Unfortunately, no one removed that pile of dirty laundry for 6 hours. I spoke with the housekeeping supervisor, who stated there was a sick call. OUR STAY AND THEIR STAFF WAS DEPLORABLE‼️‼️‼️

Front desk were not friendly, it was like they tolerated you. Had seen some guest ask guy at desk for towels and he turned around and got them out of the cabinet. Next day when a woman was at the desk and we ask for towels she told us to go to a room near the pool. She said if they did not have towels there that she would have to go to the basement.

Second time staying at this hotel. Everything went great, room was what I had booked, and food and drinks were delicious. The only negative was the lack of housekeeping. We stayed 6 nights, and had to ask multiple times for towels, and even toilet paper. My mom also had to request new bedding, and she had to change it herself. I know this sounds very minimal, but one of the great things about a hotel (with a daily destination fee) is not having to think about those things, so it was a little disappointing!

Loved the food, accessible beach, resort prices, requested rooms to be near each other and accessible, but did not get any portion of the request. Housekeeping was a problem. We were told that our room would be refreshed every 2 days. That never happened. We went to the front desk several times on day three and were promised, still no housekeeping personnel showed up. Housekeeping showed up on day four and we were checking out the next day. That was totally ridiculous.

First we get there and the air in the room wasn’t working. We payed for an ocean room view and we were put in a room that viewed the courtyard and a palm tree. Called down to the front desk and know one ever answered and then had to walk down to the front desk and changed rooms. Go up to the new room and the hallways were super hot and the ice machine wasn’t working. Then went down to the pool and there were no towels and was told they were on the way. Towels never showed and ended up walking through the hotel wet. Went to order dinner later that night and knowone would answer the phone and when they finally answered the stated they weren’t taking any more orders because they were busy and wanted to leave 30 minutes after they closed. This was 830 and they close at 9pm. Staff then advised me to just get something out of the the snack area in the lobby. Went to bed and the mattresses were like sleeping on the floor with wore out pillows. When I talked to the front desk about the ice machine not working I was advised to go to the other side of the hotel to get my own ice. The halls smelled due to the hotel having carpet with tons of pets running around. There were stains every where and you could see grease stains on our head board in our room. Finally had our fill and left the property Saturday at 6pm. Not a good customer experience at all. The staff was not very friendly and most were slippery dressed.

The board walk that takes you right to the beach was perfect! Staff was helpful. Dining was wonderful, but need more -smaller portion lunch options that are easier to grab and go-But everything we tried was wonderful! Starbucks was great. The pool was also perfect!

All in all it's a nice hotel. A few things were surprising for the price point. Bathroom could have been cleaner, toilet paper holder falling off wall. Smoke detector flashes like a strobe light every 10 seconds making it hard to sleep. No real breakfast, just a little Starbucks you have to buy from after paying almost 400 a night. Restaurant food not good and we had to order our food "to go" after being told there were no tables to seat us at, even though there were empty tables everywhere. On a good note the room was comfortable and the view was beautiful. We go to Jekyll and St. Simons often, but won't choose this hotel again I am afraid. At the price we paid things should have been better.

Property was beautiful, and the staff was helpful. The only disappointment was the lack of coffee available. You had to pay for Starbucks, and they were only open until 11:00 am.
