Great staff they went above and beyond when my father and son got stuck in the lift. Cannot praise them enough. The food was also good. Would stay there again.

Good location, easy to find, plenty of free parking, room was good, two single beds, fresh and clean, bathroom reasonable sized. Hotel quiet at night. Good buffet breakfast with choice of cooked food and bakery products. Would certainly stay again

We enjoyed our stay and we’re very pleased with the room and the lobby. Had a nice dinner and breakfast was available for us at 6AM. Room was quiet. Staff let us store our luggage until lift was repaired. Thank you

The staff were perlite and friendly. Unfortunately we had a power cut one morning before l was abel to get a shower and also unable to get breakfast. We also had no lift for most of my stay and was told most days they were hoping it was going to be fixed with out any joy!!

Clean room, friendly staff at check in and good selection at breakfast. Only negatives were the room was cold and took ages to heat up from the small heater, and noisy from outside, the window wasn't great quality and seemed draughty too.

The room size was inadequate for a family of 4. the fold out sofa bed was definitely not suitable for a 10 and 12 year old to share, which resulted in 2 poor nights sleep for the whole family. Having no air conditioning was also an issue with having 4 people in such a small room, very hot and uncomfortable overall.

I was staying with my 2 11 year old granddaughters in a room with a double bed and a sofa bed. Beds made up, room looked clean and well presented. I lay down on the sofa bed to discover that it was broken and sagging badly at the top. Given the time I took the mattress off to sleep on the floor. The mattress from the sofa bed was also in a very poor state of repair with springs causing immense discomfort. I called to reception to inform them of this, with solution offered I asked for a double duvet to fold over and lie on. The worst night sleep ever! Not what I expect from Holiday Inn or Ibis!

This hotel is a good option for those traveling by car in Edinburgh. Comfortable room, good size. Good bathroom. Kind and attentive service. But if you are traveling in the summer, think carefully, as there is no air conditioning in the room.

Great location for visiting Dunfermline, Fife Coast and Edinburgh, maybe a bit too close to the road on one side of the hotel (bit noisy cars) and the room is quite small but very clean and nice decor. Parking is free. Breakfast was great, good selection and the food was refreshed often. Staff were nice and polite, could maybe smile a bit more 😀

As usual our stay in Dunfermline was good. Comment is about lack of staff in the evening. Not enough people to cover checking in, serving at the bar etc. One more individual would make a huge difference.

Really handy for Queen Margaret hospital. There’s an Asda over the road with a McDonalds otherwise you’ll need transport or eat in the hotel. Breakfast in the hotel good enough. Car parking is included.

The room was a decent size compared to other properties I have stayed at. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast is basic however it was well cooked. Some haggis at breakfast would have been lovely. The reception/bar area is a nice place to chill and have a drink. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express Dunfermline was very pleasant, room was adequate & clean, staff very pleasant, breakfast options were plenty and tasty. The hotel is on the bus routes to and from Dunfermline with a stop just outside the hotel on main road. The only thing about our stay which stopped us drinking or dining at the hotel was the amount of dogs in the main lounge area, one of our party has a serious medical reaction to animal hair which defines our choices in these matters.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express Dunfermline was very pleasant, room was adequate & clean, staff very pleasant, breakfast options were plenty and tasty. Clean and spacious room with large shower room. Bed/pillows too soft for my taste but otherwise good. Reasonable breakfast selection. Breakfast area not big enough when the hotel is busy and everyone decides to come down at the same time as they did on our last morning. Everything running out. However staff did remarkably well and once they were alerted something else had run out they replinished it quickly and still with a smile!

Clean and spacious room with large shower room. Bed/pillows too soft for my taste but otherwise good. Reasonable breakfast selection. Breakfast was really a dissappointment for me. There was no even boiled egg. Not enough alternative selections. Juices was terrible. Fruits were not look like fresh.

Hotel was very clean staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. Only downside was poor Manu on the Sunday. I ordered a pizza and was very disappointed with it and very overpriced.

The room was clean but on the small side for a family of four. The sofa bed was only a very small double so our two children aged 8 and 11 were a bit squished. When the bed was folded out, there was minimal room to move around. We also found the walls/windows to be poor for sound insulation, as there was lots of noise from outside that travelled up to our room despite having the window shut. We could also hear snoring from an adjacent room. Overall however it was good value for our two night stay to visit Edinburgh, particularly compared to the extremely high prices in the city. We were barely in the room due to long days out so it was fine just to sleep in. The breakfast was ok, but avoid the scrambled egg, apple juice and bread rolls as these were all really poor quality. Staff were friendly and happy to oblige when we asked for extra pillows for the sofa bed. Towels were changed on day two, which was unexpected for a short stay.

Clean and Tidy. Good value for money for the service and facilities. The only thing was no socket next to main mirror for the hair straighteners but that was the only negative point. Breakfast decent and as expected.
