Eigentlich ein tolles Hotel, aber.... Habe ausdrücklich Hotel mit Dampfbad gesucht, da finnische Sauna zu heiss für mich ist, ich aber aus gesundheitlichen Gründen auf Wärme angewiesen bin. Beim ersten (und leider letzten (Besuch der Wellness-Anlage hiess es dann, Dampfbad sei schon seit Monaten ausser Betrieb. Keine Bio-Sauna mit gemässigter Temperatur vorhanden, aber leider war auch der Pool zu kalt. Damit wär's dann gewesen mit Wellness. Die zusätzlichen Kosten für einen Besuch in der öffentlichen Therme habe wir uns gespart. Schade. Meine Reklamation hat uns aber ein sehr gutes Nachtessen eingebracht. Das Hotel hat sich hier erkenntlich gezeigt, wir haben dies sehr geschätzt, Danke! Morgenessen und das Nachtessen jeweils als Büffet sehr sehr gut! Schade, dass dann so Kleinigkeiten wie Cappuccino anstatt Aufbrühkaffee extra kosten. Ebenfalls extra sind Bademantel und Saunatuch zu bezahlen (was in unserem Fall besonders "tragisch" war, da wir Mantel und Tuch bezogen haben, bevor wir bemerkten, dass die Wellness-Anlage für uns nicht sinnvoll nutzbar war). Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist "gewagt". Sehr viele (tolle!) Designelemente, dann aber leider grad im 10er-Pack aufgestellt. Das ist zu viel des Guten! Und die Stühle im Restaurant sehen zwar toll aus und sind auch sehr bequem, brauchen aber extrem viel Platz und erschweren das Durchkommen vom Büffet zum Tisch recht stark. L’hôtel est bien situé,très joliment décoré dans les restaurants et bar et a l’accueil. Le petit déjeuner est très simple,les chambres simples en deco. La piscine froide donc pas utilisable,dommage qu’ils faillent payer en supplément le cappuccino du petit déjeuner ainsi que le parking et chercher les peignoirs a l’accueil.

This hotel was lovely and our room was large and clean. Parking was terrible. There is a loading/ off loading spot outside the front doors. We parked there to check in, and I asked about where to park. The front desk lady, was nice and handed me a map of a parking lot that was pretty far, it was two roads over and at the bottom of a large hill. When I drove there, that lot was mostly full as well. When I got back to the hotel I saw that there was a parking garage under the hotel. I did not see anyone at the front desk to ask about it when I came back. The next morning at check out, the new front desk lady asked me if I had parked in the garage so she could add that fee to the bill. I told her no, I was not informed of the parking garage and I would have loved to have used it. One of the reasons I picked this hotel as it said there was easy parking. So, I am pretty disappointed in that. I had my infant and all of here things that she requires to move around. When I left the parking spot at the loading spot (which the check in lady said we could not park at over night) someone took my spot. When we left in the morning all the cars that were parked there “temporarily “ we’re still there including the car that took our spot. I would have stayed there had I know no one was going to enforce the rules.

Es war kein Wellnesshotel ! Pool zu kalt und zu klein, nur eine Sauna ( Dampfbad seit MONATEN defekt),kein Wirlpool (sollte beim Wellness dabei sein),im Bad keine Heizung , Bad in desaströsem Zustand,einzelne Betten die auseinanderdriften,Garagenstellplätze kosten Geld was nicht aufgeführt wurde , Stellplätze zu klein und nicht ausreichend ! Keine Massage möglich da ständig alles ausgebucht (Personal zu wenig ? ) NIE WIEDER

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war klein, aber gepflegt. Der Spa Bereich bietet trotz Renovierung noch Luft nach oben( fehlende WC‘s, Sauna Nutzung vor 15Uhr) Die Parkplätze in der Tiefgarage sind für die Größe heutiger Fahrzeuge deutlich zu eng. Die Lage des Hotels ist super, der Ort ist schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen. Nicht so gut gefallen hat mir, dass der Aussenbereich zum Frühstücken aufgrund einer Hochzeit zwei Tage für alle anderen Gäste gesperrt war. Schließlich ist der Preis für das Hotel ja für alle ( nach Kategorie) gleich😉. Insgesamt kann ich das Hotel aber weiter empfehlen.

Mit Charme aber auch schon etwas in die Tage gekommen. Insgesamt merkt man dass die Einrichtung und die Zimmer schon einige Jahre hinter sich haben. Die Zimmer waren sauber und haben alles nötige aber auch nicht mehr. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück war ausreichend und gut. Pool war sehr angenehm und warm, auch in der umkleide. Parkplätze vorhanden aber schon recht eng. Stadt und wandern direkt vor der Tür. Wenn man die paar Schwächen übersieht und das Hotel eine Empfehlung und wir kommen gerne wieder.

We arrived around 9:30 pm after a 12 hour drive. Parking was a nightmare, found only one spot left and it was so narrow, I had to crawl out of the trunk to get out. Staff was unsympathetic and offered no options/alternatives thus I had to do it. I asked about street parking and their answer was that I had to figure it out myself. By time we arrived, restaurant was still open but closed for new orders. Asked for alternative dining in town, told me to look it up myself online, even though I explained to them I didn’t speak German. Room extremely dated, weeds growing on balcony between tiles, room and bathroom cleanliness questionable, beds very uncomfortable… and the list goes on. Online this place looks great, in person you can tell hay day was in the 80’s

L'albergo in sé è molto bello, con ampie sale ristoranti molto accoglienti; peccato che durante la giornata i bar non siano sempre aperti, rendendo meno piacevole passare il tempo nella hall o nella bella terrazza. La camera carina, ma sarebbe utile qualche servizio in più, magari una cassaforte ed un frigobar. Il bagno è terrificante: sembra uscito da un incubo degli anni '80, buio grazie anche alle orribili piastrelle marroni e con la vasca da bagno invece della doccia, con una tenda di dubbia igiene. Nemmeno un servizio di cortesia, meno che mai le ciabatte. Nel complesso, da migliorare molto i servizi della camera, che contrastano molto con il resto dell'albergo. Nota dolente: all'arrivo ho trovato della pipì nel water ed il posacenere (fuori, sull'ampio balcone, molto piacevole) pieno di mozziconi di sigaretta. La camera non era stata rifatta a dovere.

Het hotel op zich is zeer aangenaam en modern. De kamer is basic en wat gedateerd voornamelijk de badkamer. Zeer proper, zeer goed ontbijt & diner.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Mit einfachen Maßnahmen könnte jedoch viel verbessert werden (z.B. "Wollmäuse" im Schwimmbecken, Fliesenreste und Winterschmutz auf dem Balkon)

Das Hotel ist wunderschön, aber sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Man sieht überall das es Renoviert werden müsste. Die Sauberkeit im Haus ist gegeben aber mit Luft nach oben. Jederzeit würde ich es wieder buchen, da das Personal gut war und alles in allem professionell abgehandelt wurde.

Ein wunderschönes elegantes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal und erstklassigem Service. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Ich hatte ein schönes ruhiges Zimmer und ein sehr bequemes Bett. Alles ist sehr sauber und sehr gepflegt. Das Hotel hat einen schönen Wellness-Bereich und eine sehr gepflegt Außenanlage mit Terrassen.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war klein, aber gepflegt. Der Spa Bereich bietet trotz Renovierung noch Luft nach oben( fehlende WC‘s, Sauna Nutzung vor 15Uhr) Die Parkplätze in der Tiefgarage sind für die Größe heutiger Fahrzeuge deutlich zu eng. Die Lage des Hotels ist super, der Ort ist schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen. Nicht so gut gefallen hat mir, dass der Aussenbereich zum Frühstücken aufgrund einer Hochzeit zwei Tage für alle anderen Gäste gesperrt war. Schließlich ist der Preis für das Hotel ja für alle ( nach Kategorie) gleich😉. Insgesamt kann ich das Hotel aber weiter empfehlen.

136 rooms and reception is closed at 21 hrs which is unbelievable strange. Rooms contains very old furniture and inefficient lay out. No climate control ( very nice during hot summer night. Expensive in relation to comfort. Nice location and breakfast was ok.

L'albergo in sé è molto bello, con ampie sale ristoranti molto accoglienti; peccato che durante la giornata i bar non siano sempre aperti, rendendo meno piacevole passare il tempo nella hall o nella bella terrazza. La camera carina, ma sarebbe utile qualche servizio in più, magari una cassaforte ed un frigobar. Il bagno è terrificante: sembra uscito da un incubo degli anni '80, buio grazie anche alle orribili piastrelle marroni e con la vasca da bagno invece della doccia, con una tenda di dubbia igiene. Nemmeno un servizio di cortesia, meno che mai le ciabatte. Nel complesso, da migliorare molto i servizi della camera, che contrastano molto con il resto dell'albergo. Nota dolente: all'arrivo ho trovato della pipì nel water ed il posacenere (fuori, sull'ampio balcone, molto piacevole) pieno di mozziconi di sigaretta. La camera non era stata rifatta a dovere.

lugar incrível, o hotel por fora parece simples mas por dentro e lindo, a sala de recepção e maravilhosa, a parte da piscina aquecida e saunas muito agradável. O quarto, roupa de cama, banheiro com ducha perfeito, tudo tudo maravilhoso. café da manhã com variedades de queijos, presuntos, geleias, pães e frutas. Um cantinho com salsichas, ovos mexidos, ovos cozidos e batatinhas. Como chegamos tarde, pegamos um buffet maravilhoso com um bife perfeito, pelo preço de 28euros por pessoa, com direito a sobremesa. Voltaria a ficar lá com certeza.

Ein wunderschönes elegantes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal und erstklassigem Service. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Ich hatte ein schönes ruhiges Zimmer und ein sehr bequemes Bett. Alles ist sehr sauber und sehr gepflegt. Das Hotel hat einen schönen Wellness-Bereich und eine sehr gepflegt Außenanlage mit Terrassen.

Very nicely renovated hotel but the structure is old. Because of this the rooms are not very well isolated and thus noisy. All other areas are very nice.

This was a very relaxing hotel that was close to everything in town. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations for our first family vacation to Germany.

We arrived around 9:30 pm after a 12 hour drive. Parking was a nightmare, found only one spot left and it was so narrow, I had to crawl out of the trunk to get out. Staff was unsympathetic and offered no options/alternatives thus I had to do it. I asked about street parking and their answer was that I had to figure it out myself. By time we arrived, restaurant was still open but closed for new orders. Asked for alternative dining in town, told me to look it up myself online, even though I explained to them I didn’t speak German. Room extremely dated, weeds growing on balcony between tiles, room and bathroom cleanliness questionable, beds very uncomfortable… and the list goes on. Online this place looks great, in person you can tell hay day was in the 80’s

I arrived at 10pm, parking lot full, so they sent me 1+km away and reccomended me to "walk back". No offer to accompany or give a lift. Walked back in the dark for 10min. Got into my room which was standard room instead of Deluxe room as per reservation. Went downstairs to reception to ask for info about this mistake and found out that everybody at the reception left and reception was closed. Following morning went for breakfast, asked for a cappuccino (or espresso) and was told that "I have to pay for cappuccino". Never seen in my life a breakfast in a hotel where you have to pay for cappuccino or espresso. When I reported this at the reception I was told "OK". Ridiculous hotel, rude and unprofessional staff.

This hotel was lovely and our room was large and clean. Parking was terrible. There is a loading/ off loading spot outside the front doors. We parked there to check in, and I asked about where to park. The front desk lady, was nice and handed me a map of a parking lot that was pretty far, it was two roads over and at the bottom of a large hill. When I drove there, that lot was mostly full as well. When I got back to the hotel I saw that there was a parking garage under the hotel. I did not see anyone at the front desk to ask about it when I came back. The next morning at check out, the new front desk lady asked me if I had parked in the garage so she could add that fee to the bill. I told her no, I was not informed of the parking garage and I would have loved to have used it. One of the reasons I picked this hotel as it said there was easy parking. So, I am pretty disappointed in that. I had my infant and all of here things that she requires to move around. When I left the parking spot at the loading spot (which the check in lady said we could not park at over night) someone took my spot. When we left in the morning all the cars that were parked there “temporarily “ we’re still there including the car that took our spot. I would have stayed there had I know no one was going to enforce the rules.

Mit Charme aber auch schon etwas in die Tage gekommen. Insgesamt merkt man dass die Einrichtung und die Zimmer schon einige Jahre hinter sich haben. Die Zimmer waren sauber und haben alles nötige aber auch nicht mehr. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück war ausreichend und gut. Pool war sehr angenehm und warm, auch in der umkleide. Parkplätze vorhanden aber schon recht eng. Stadt und wandern direkt vor der Tür. Wenn man die paar Schwächen übersieht und das Hotel eine Empfehlung und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wirklich ansprechendes Hotel mit Komfort und Flair (old-school). Lage war perfekt, wenn man in Karlsruhe, Rastatt und Baden-Baden zu tun hat und nicht von einem zum anderen Hotel umziehen möchte. Ein Unding: ich hatte beim Buchen optiert für "Bezahlen in der Unterkunft", was vom Personal einfach ignoriert wurde. Meine zur Sicherheit hinterlegte MC war noch vor dem Auschecken belastet worden. Auskunft am Desk: wir dürfen das, das ist hier Standard. Ich war sprachlos...

The location was great, the breakfast was nice but the same everyday over our 6 day stay. The facilities were somewhat limited and the parking lot was always full. Doing an early checkout posed a major problem - the hotel staff could be more flexible.

C'est un bel hôtel rénové avec goût. Belle piscine très agréable. Superbe petit déjeuner Le village de Bad Herrenalb est également propice pour passer d'agréables vacances.

Eigentlich ein tolles Hotel, aber.... Habe ausdrücklich Hotel mit Dampfbad gesucht, da finnische Sauna zu heiss für mich ist, ich aber aus gesundheitlichen Gründen auf Wärme angewiesen bin. Beim ersten (und leider letzten (Besuch der Wellness-Anlage hiess es dann, Dampfbad sei schon seit Monaten ausser Betrieb. Keine Bio-Sauna mit gemässigter Temperatur vorhanden, aber leider war auch der Pool zu kalt. Damit wär's dann gewesen mit Wellness. Die zusätzlichen Kosten für einen Besuch in der öffentlichen Therme habe wir uns gespart. Schade. Meine Reklamation hat uns aber ein sehr gutes Nachtessen eingebracht. Das Hotel hat sich hier erkenntlich gezeigt, wir haben dies sehr geschätzt, Danke! Morgenessen und das Nachtessen jeweils als Büffet sehr sehr gut! Schade, dass dann so Kleinigkeiten wie Cappuccino anstatt Aufbrühkaffee extra kosten. Ebenfalls extra sind Bademantel und Saunatuch zu bezahlen (was in unserem Fall besonders "tragisch" war, da wir Mantel und Tuch bezogen haben, bevor wir bemerkten, dass die Wellness-Anlage für uns nicht sinnvoll nutzbar war). Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist "gewagt". Sehr viele (tolle!) Designelemente, dann aber leider grad im 10er-Pack aufgestellt. Das ist zu viel des Guten! Und die Stühle im Restaurant sehen zwar toll aus und sind auch sehr bequem, brauchen aber extrem viel Platz und erschweren das Durchkommen vom Büffet zum Tisch recht stark. Fazit: irgendwie zwiespältig aber doch haben wir uns insgesamt wohl gefühlt!
Eigentlich ein tolles Hotel, aber.... Habe ausdrücklich Hotel mit Dampfbad gesucht, da finnische Sauna zu heiss für mich ist, ich aber aus gesundheitlichen Gründen auf Wärme angewiesen bin. Beim ersten (und leider letzten (Besuch der Wellness-Anlage hiess es dann, Dampfbad sei schon seit Monaten ausser Betrieb. Keine Bio-Sauna mit gemässigter Temperatur vorhanden, aber leider war auch der Pool zu kalt. Damit wär's dann gewesen mit Wellness. Die zusätzlichen Kosten für einen Besuch in der öffentlichen Therme habe wir uns gespart. Schade. Meine Reklamation hat uns aber ein sehr gutes Nachtessen eingebracht. Das Hotel hat sich hier erkenntlich gezeigt, wir haben dies sehr geschätzt, Danke! Morgenessen und das Nachtessen jeweils als Büffet sehr sehr gut! Schade, dass dann so Kleinigkeiten wie Cappuccino anstatt Aufbrühkaffee extra kosten. Ebenfalls extra sind Bademantel und Saunatuch zu bezahlen (was in unserem Fall besonders "tragisch" war, da wir Mantel und Tuch bezogen haben, bevor wir bemerkten, dass die Wellness-Anlage für uns nicht sinnvoll nutzbar war). Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist "gewagt". Sehr viele (tolle!) Designelemente, dann aber leider grad im 10er-Pack aufgestellt. Das ist zu viel des Guten! Und die Stühle im Restaurant sehen zwar toll aus und sind auch sehr bequem, brauchen aber extrem viel Platz und erschweren das Durchkommen vom Büffet zum Tisch recht stark. Fazit: irgendwie zwiespältig aber doch haben wir uns insgesamt wohl gefühlt!

L’hôtel est bien situé,très joliment décoré dans les restaurants et bar et a l’accueil. Le petit déjeuner est très simple,les chambres simples en deco. La piscine froide donc pas utilisable,dommage qu’ils faillent payer en supplément le cappuccino du petit déjeuner ainsi que le parking et chercher les peignoirs a l’accueil.

lugar incrível, o hotel por fora parece simples mas por dentro e lindo, a sala de recepção e maravilhosa, a parte da piscina aquecida e saunas muito agradável. O quarto, roupa de cama, banheiro com ducha perfeito, tudo tudo maravilhoso. café da manhã com variedades de queijos, presuntos, geleias, pães e frutas. Um cantinho com salsichas, ovos mexidos, ovos cozidos e batatinhas. Como chegamos tarde, pegamos um buffet maravilhoso com um bife perfeito, pelo preço de 28euros por pessoa, com direito a sobremesa. Voltaria a ficar lá com certeza.

Udmærket hotel, som har set bedre dage, men receptionen og restauranten var blevet opgraderet. Værelser ok, men slidte Vi havde bedt om et værelse med eftermiddags sol, blev tilbudt et værelse uden sol, men fik det ændret. Morgenmad ok den at være noget særlig, savnede pølser , der var røræg og bacon. Aftensmaden var buffet, ikke pengene værd. Buffeten var åben til kl 21, vi ankom kl 19.30 og alt så kedeligt ud. Indtørret lasagne, triste panerede fisk , slatne fritter og kold, klæg risotto . Salatbuffeten var fin. Godt vi ikke havde bestilt halv pension. Personalet både morgen og aften så lidt uinteresserede ud. Haven var fin.

Ein wunderschönes elegantes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal und erstklassigem Service. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Ich hatte ein schönes ruhiges Zimmer und ein sehr bequemes Bett. Alles ist sehr sauber und sehr gepflegt. Das Hotel hat einen schönen Wellness-Bereich und eine sehr gepflegt Außenanlage mit Terrassen.
