Couldnt use the pool as it was very dirty. Bed was comfortable. Found trash on the floor some towels were stained. Font desk lady was really nice

The staff was very nice, they show you the room before you pay. It was very clean and well kept. Nice lobby and breakfast area. I was disappointed the pool was out of service so our son couldn’t swim.

I would never book this hotel again! When I booked the hotel, I filtered only hotels with pool and breakfast. We checked in (attendant was super friendly and nice) and went to change into bathing suits. My husband took 2 granddaughters to swim and found an empty pool with man resurfacing pool. Was told that there wasn’t anything they could do but manager would talk to us next morning (we booked 2 nights). I’m not sure why hotel info wasnt updated on website since 1st picture was of Pool and maintenance had been ongoing for awhile. Room was unbearably hot and took a couple of hours to cool down. We went down for breakfast at 8 the next morning to find nothing on hot bar, but they were making more eggs and bacon, etc. We waited for 15 minutes and had to leave due to appointment time. Talked with manager about Pool issue and she offered a $5 or $10 discount for our troubles, lol thanks but no thanks. Got back to room in the afternoon and housekeeping had turned the a/c back off and room was super hot once again. Breakfast 2nd am was stocked with eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy.

The staff was great, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very very good. On the other hand, the pool was not working, and filled with a dirty muddy water. The air conditioner for the second floor common areas seem to not be working at all, the room unit was working, but it was noisy. The bathroom door would not close all the way, the toilet did not work correctly. You could tell that regular maintenance was not being performed. Fine for a one night stay, but I would not want to spend a week here.

They are under renovation

The room was not clean. There was an empty pop bottle under the bed. The carport was not clean. The pool was not serviceable. The coffee maker did not work. The staff was friendly.

Poor gym with no working equipment

The Hotel is worn out & they are redecorating it!! It has stuff & workers all around. The Breakfast Buffet on Friday was wonderful but the breakfast Saturday was lacking. They could have done better. People should have a choice of being in a construction zone or not Before they Book!!

Hotel was going through some kind of remodel - some new furniture. However other seems were older - phones older and not clean. A/C very loud. Breakfast below average.

This place was aweful. The pictures online is definitely not this hotel. The carpet in the rooms is filthy. There are gnats in the room. The bed had a big sink in it. The pillows look like they been there every since 1977. They said they serve breakfast but I wouldnt even let a pet eat there. The pool is covered in green moss. The ice bucket and coffe maker is in the bathroom, who does that?

Room had little flies flying around all day and night, sheets had hair on it. Dirty room. Will NOT stay here again for the price. Morning staff was nice, evening staff was NOT very nice. Just said hello to one lady and she acted like I was bothering her. Bathroom shower was dirty and stained, hair foliage that wasn’t ours all over the bathroom.

Room was filthy. Ashes everywhere. Some type of food or drink splatter all over the walls. Table had random hairs on it and some type of powdery white substance. Room reeked of cigarette smoke. Cigarette burns all over the couch cushions. I don’t believe this room was even cleaned before our arrival.

If you are considering this location, don’t bother, drive the extra miles to the next town. The place is nasty, dirt on the walls, carpets half vacuumed, light fixtures broken and in disrepair. Furniture had food crumbs from prior guest.

First, the good things: the staff was nice, the food was good, and the bed was comfortable. But, the room smelled like urine like a nursing home, the carpet was dirty, there were stains on the bedspread, curtains, and lampshades, the walls were all scuffed up, the desk chair faux leather surface was completely worn off the arms and part of the back, there were holes in the walls, the toilet paper rack was broken, the wall was rotting in the bathroom, as well as the material below the shower, and there were ants and roaches in the room.

Dirty sheets hair all over the room, left the hotel and went to another, would not recommend.

The cleanliness of the room was lacking. The bedspread was dirty and stained. There was hair all over in the bathroom; shower, floor, sink area. Even the hallway had a musty odor. My wife is very particular, and she was ready to call the front desk and ask for new sheets because she wasn't convinced the sheets had been changed from the previous occupants.

Bathroom was not clean. Sink water pressure was very poor didn’t even have enough pressure to clean my razor had to use the bathtub water which had very good pressure. Tub had mold in the corners, shower head was dirty and also had some mold. Didn’t have any trash cans in the desk area like other hotels. TV was very confusing to operate. Bed converter on one bed was torn on the back side. Sheets looked like they were five years old and dingy. Carpet was dirty Oh! I saw a bug in the bathroom, if you seen one there are probably others.

Roaches in the bathroom no water pressure at the sink

Lacks general maintenance and upkeep. Staff is very nice—most redeeming quality of the hotel. It looks like in years past it was a nice place, but now shows a lack of overall maintenance and upkeep. Rooms need to be Painting and caulking, bathroom fixtures are in need of replacement, and the bedroom components look worn and dated.

The best part was the comfort of the bed. Room smelled like a hospital. Floor in the shower was squishy like it was rotten underneath.

Water pressure was bad and shower head was dirty.

Our TV didn’t work. By the time they got it to work and reboot, we missed most of our favorite show. Then, when I tried to change the channel, it went all crazy again. 😞

Water in room was very weak. Room did not smell fresh. However it qas very nice to have a microwave and a fridge!

Very accommodating had switch rooms three times. Tv not working in first room then AC not working in second room finally the third room everything working properly.

Greatvstaff vey helpful

All the staff was very helpful and kind. When they noticed my struggle climbing the stairs (no elevator), they offered me a room on the first floor. Negatively, we had to walk through clouds of cigarette smoke to get into the smoke-free hotel. They have a make-your-own waffle machine so that made up for most of the small inconveniences.

Nice place to stay, clean, quiet, conveniently located. Professionally run, friendly staff.

The gentleman who served us at check in was delightful.

Staff at the inn were wonderful nice room very clean was really impressed will go there again.

Just across from Wallace State Junior College. very convenient if you are going to an event there and need a place to stay. Food locations very close by.

The rate for the room doesn't match the quality. It wasn't very clean. The towels had spots on them. One good thing, it was conveniently located near Wallace State CC. Next time I will just drive from B'ham. Very kind staff!

Everything was good and the workers were really nice. Only thing the doors stick and the above locks are broken. The blankets smell like cigarette smoke. All in all it was a good stay and convenient for people who are working Rock the South.

It is called "QUALITY INN" but it's better to call it "QUALITY POOR". I regret choosing this hotel. Reception desk lady looks like she just come out of a nap. The loby is very poor decorated, plants almost died. Desk chair in room was broken; the towels are 10 to 15 years old; they are not white but gray, breakfast very poor, no rolls on sunday, the beacon was half burned. The breakfast is a Dollar store buy. All in all very very poor! Again, I .regret staying in this QUALITY Ipoor hotel.

The staff was so friendly. Waffles were really good. Wish they had scrambled eggs instead of the egg patties. Clean room. Loved the free coffee and tea and vending machines.

The front desk lady was very nice!! We teased and kidded back and forth. Room was clean, somehow we were booked with a handicap room. That’s fine, no issues!! Breakfast was mostly your usual foods. Friend missed having eggs. The gravy was cold, informed the lady, she heated it back up and when we had more, it was better. Bless this lady, she was doing the work of 3 people - good lady!! If we go back to Cullman, we’ll stay there. There’s a “hole in the wall” restaurant, Pops, that serves the best home cooked lunch. He’s also open for breakfast, we didn’t have his but he’ll put your breakfast to shame I’m sure. He makes chicken and dumplings from scratch!! Excellent food!!

My kids love the breakfast and the staff was friendly.
