Our suite was the biggest we've ever stayed in! However we were on the 1st floor and street side. SO NOISY that sleep was hard for me. There was noise until 5 or 6 a.m. The pool is large and on the rooftop but chairs are scarce and the water is freezing. The gym was great! Also, the staff were all very helpful

Nice hotel but the top pool area is very run down and the toilets were filthy. The food at thd pool is very expensiveand poor value. Our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfasts very good. The staff are brilliant and keen to help with any problems.

Pros - good location. Nice facilities. Modern rooms. Plentiful breakfast. Cons - noise, noise, noise. We paid extra for the balcony and marina view. The air con is controlled centrally. We visited in the winter and the room felt so hot and stuffy with the balcony doors closed. The aircon was automatically switched to heating mode and we were unable to switch it to air con mode, we can switch it off but it still felt stuffy. I woke up multiple times a night sweating. This meant we had to sleep with the balcony doors open. This meant noise all night especially at the weekend. There were people talking noises, shouting, buses, cars, trains, planes and general traffic noise. You can hear the cleaning ladies dragging their trolleys and moving furniture around the hotel. The indoor pool is much smaller than expected and the water is cold. The jacuzzi and sauna are also small. There is a €10 per towel rental fee and €5 swimming cap fee (non refundable).

Fabulous location and fabulous hotel. Breakfast was amazing, especially the pianist sitting in the corner. Great service and comfortable rooms. The pool area is a little run down but looks like they’re in refurbishment mode having just opened a new spa facility in the last two weeks.

Ticked all the boxes for us apart from the pool, which was surprisingly inaccessible for many. As it is often a bit of a hub and something normally enjoyed by many, I was taken aback by the poor quality, bordering on dangerous. It would singularly put me off going there again.

Hotel ligt heel centraal, gratis parkeren langs en achter het hotel, vraag de info. Ontbijt op rooftop mooi zicht. Zwembad en de rest van rooftop in renovatie, jammer daar konden we in november niet zitten. Voor het binnenzwembad is een badmuts vereist. 4km van luchthaven en treinstation vlakbij. Geen auto nodig!

The staff were very good. I paid extra for a marina-view room that I thought was good. The huge letdown was the roof-top pool. The poolside area was shabby beyond belief.

As frequent travelers, we would not recommend this resort. Though the resort is rated as a 4 star hotel, we would rate it as a run down 3 or even a 2. The reception was pretty with a nice bar adjacent, but the new restaurant (which we were very interested in) was not even open for the duration of our stay. The elevators were slow and extremely small, making trips with multiple groups or large luggage impossible. We stayed on the first floor and the hallway was musty, smelly, and dark. The room itself was extremely dirty with hand prints all over the doors, dirty floors and walls, crooked pictures, moldy grout and shower tiles, hair in the sink and linens, ripped chairs, and a shower that did not drain at all. Our door was extremely difficult to close, often having to push/slam it closed. Parking was a nightmare with maybe 15 spots which were almost always full. The staff were mostly nice but they were slow and frequently forgot our orders. We did not eat their food as the town offered much better breakfast at half the cost.

Check in at 2. Room not ready until 320. Cleanliness is an issue. There was dust and dirt everywhere. The pool had bugs and a layer of algae growth ob the sides and in the water. Our room didn't get cleaned the first day (we gave up at 4:30 and just got towels)

The breakfast was decent and a convenient, central location, but it was trying (unsuccessfully) to sell itself as a four star hotel, when it is not there. The reception checks you in at a desk rather than a counter (true in many resorts), but the long lines for check in block the entrance into and out of the hotel. Left baggage is clustered in the open around the check in desks, rather than a luggage room. Hallways with dirty carpet concealed by dim, spot lighting. There are electric wires running down the length of the ceiling of the hallways concealed by a suspended ceiling that is uneven and appears ready to fall down. Wood panelling in room near the floor stained by years of mopping (not recently though). Towel rack falling down

I’ve stayed at this hotel before and had better experiences. This time was not so good. Our original room was extremely dusty, had a musty odor, mold in the fridge and when we pulled back the bed cover there were tiny little spiders. We requested to switch rooms and although they upgraded us the second room wasn’t much better. It was super dusty and there were hairs all over the bathroom walls as if someone wiped them down with a dirty towel. Additionally the room was very cold and we asked for the heat to be turned up but it didn’t seem to help. The only positive is there is a nice breakfast buffet with a beautiful view.

We stayed in a standard double with a city view room for 2 nights. The room was spacious and had a nice view of the outside road. The breakfast area was large and a nice setting to enjoy a meal, as you looked over the water area in Faro. A very busy hotel whilst we were there (mid-September) but convenient location as Faro city itself does not contain too much to see, and the hotel is located close enough to explore the sites via walking.

We turned on the ac in the room and went out for dinner. Upon returning the room was still over 26c. Spoke to front desk and was advised no individual ac in rooms. We opened the patio door to let cooler outdoor air in. After cooling down the room, closed the patio door but the room started to heat up again. Had to leave the patio door open overnight which let all the street party noice in. We only had 2 hours of sleep. We will never stay in this hotel again!!

Room ok / reasonably priced. Great view. Good location. Near station and airport too. Overlooking marina - just be mindful it’s a bit noisy at night with folks out on the town if you have this type of room.

Best breakfast venue in the city. Wonderful views, extensive buffet, efficient staff and a pianist. What’s not to love! Registration is slow. The furniture in the lobby is well used and needs a good cleaning. Bedrooms are comfortable and well lit. Lots of hangers and two places for two travellers to put their suitcase for ease of access.

Location excellent. Staff pleasant. Room overlooking the marina was great for people watching. Breakfast was excellent with live pianist. Sadly room aircon was very poor so we didn’t sleep too well. Would stay again though.

I was checked in efficiently by Ruben and provided a quiet room as requested. He mentioned the breakfast was not to be missed and he was correct, it was wonderful. You could dine outside overlooking the marina. I forgot my phone cable and it was retrieved by housekeeping and a man called Guillermo (sorry about the spelling). I hope to return the next time in Faro.

Staff are excellent apart from one very rude cleaner who was cleaning the lifts. Check in was efficient and insightful into what to do and where to eat in Faro. The room was great - very comfy bed overlooking the marina. The bathroom was tired and could do with an upgrade. Breakfast was great with loads of options. My only gripe would be why no warm plates for hot food? The downstairs restaurant Adeo was superb and we actually ate the three times during our week stay. Great food, wine and service and very reasonably prices. Would highly recommend. The pool wasn’t open but you could use the sunbeds on the roof top terrace. Very scruffy up there but I would imagine it will get tidied up in time for May. Overall, a great week in a good hotel.

From check in to check out, all staff seem disinterested and sullen. Guests were not much better. It’s a nice Hotel in prime position in Faro, but the overall experience was very negative. Most people ( staff and guests ) were far too much up themselves. Glad we only had one night there.

Stayed May 24, for 3 nights, had a great time so booked a 4 day trip July 25. The rooms are never available before 2pm so always hectic if you want to check in then. Stayed in room 305 with balcony overlooking the marina. Lovely room. Had an issue with the door not shutting without slamming. On one occasion we returned to our room approx 3:30pm and found the maid had not shut the door properly! Not great really!! Rooms cleaned daily, although they never replenished the milk sachets in the fridge so had to get some from breakfast to take to the room, also didn’t clean the coffee mugs. Only a small thing, Staff on reception were fantastic Roof top terrace amazing, always lots of sun loungers available and a huge pool. Very reasonably priced. Large beer only €5 (same as everywhere in Faro. Breakfast was wonderful, fabulous atmosphere with pianist playing daily. Great choice and good quality! Lovely 4 day stay, and we will definitely return! Obrigado!

This resort has great views however everything else was very lackluster. I stayed here for a few nights and upon checking in the AC was making a very loud noise. It was reported several times and each time we were told the maintenance worker would be by to check it and if it can’t be fixed they will move our room. We left to explore and came back and it still had not been fixed. When I approached the front to fix it they kept giving me the runaround until the last time I went they said maintenance had actually left for the day and so they will just move us. This was hours later. No one ever contacted us to follow up if maintenance had been by or if things were fixed and it took us going to report it multiple times for it to be handled. The hotel room left a lot to be desired. Overall we were not pleased and would not recommend staying here.

The staff were terrible. We had travel issues and when I called to modify my reservation, with dire need of support. Sara from reception was rude and condescending. She refused to let me speak to the manager, Antonio, or even try to help.

Amazing hotel, very convenient for walking everywhere. All the staff were fantastic, especially Daniel on reception who was exceptionally helpful. Room was lovely, looking over the marina. Pool bar was great. Breakfast was fab, plenty of choice. Will be booking again for next year

We have stayed many times and found the staff a bit rude this time. We arrived early and they took our bags and said check in was 2pm. We went back at 1 and I inquired was there any possibility our room might be ready. The man at reception didn’t even look up from the computer and just said no very abruptly, it would have taken him 2 seconds to make eye contact. The regular guy at the roof top pool was also a bit gruff and not very friendly. This is just the start of the season can’t imagine what they will be like mid July. If you’re going to be rude don’t do hospitality. Breakfast amazing but the man playing piano goes to break from 9-9.30 so if you want that experience of hearing him play make sure u go for breakfast before or after that time. He is wonderful

Spent a nice week here. Probably the best located hotel in Faro. A short ride from the airport, both the modern waterfront and old town right there, and the train station a few minutes walk away. It has a lot going for it. If you can get a room on the marina side the view is lovely, nice place to sit on a morning or evening. The top floor buffet restaurant (breakfast and weekend dinner), pool / bar, and cocktail bar make use of the location with the views over the marina and coast. We had a very nice stay. A few tweaks could raise it from good to great. The main thing in my opinion being the inability to keep hot food hot on the buffet, at either breakfast or dinner, it was cold unless you caught a dish being brought out fresh. The quantity and range of food on offer is large, maybe best to do a little less but better? Breakfast is a bit chaotic but no more than most. Good fruits, salads, cheese, bread and cakes. The shower in our bathroom was clean and functional but tired and a bit leaky. Not really in keeping with the standard otherwise. There's a smart cocktail bar which they could easily push more. We got to nearly the end of our stay before we knew much about it or realised they had offers at certain times. The rooftop pool and bar could use a refresh with it's furniture and it's selection of drinks. It's such a nice spot and they lay on music events some evenings, just a little polish would meet it's potential.

It’s a very conveniently located hotel for transit travellers, a minute walk to the bus and 3 minutes to the train stations.. it is also very close to all restaurants.. nice view from the 5th floor bar and breakfast restaurant.. very nice breakfast. Room is pretty large with a large balcony, it is well cleaned.. we were very happy with our hotel selection

Great hotel. Whilst check-in was a little slow - staff were very professional and polite. The room and balcony were lovely. The hotel’s amenities - outdoor and indoor pool, sauna and rooftop deck were excellent. We had a massage and a facial - what a treat and very relaxing - highly recommend. Hotel’s location is also superb - views, view overlooking marina and easy walks into old town. Breakfast buffet was good and the pianists who played at breakfast, in reception and in the evening were an absolute joy. This hotel really did appeal to the senses.

Fantastic hotel. Brilliant breakfast Lovely rooms. I would’ve scored it higher, but the pool area lets it down. Broken sunbeds, very tired area. Like I said the breakfast was brilliant, but we had an evening meal in the restaurant and it was poor! Definitely not worth the €25 per head

The breakfast was great, but was stack high and was colder as it left out. The ham croissant were amazing, but didnt see every day. The variety was great overall and was very tasty.

The hotel needs a makeover and a deep clean. Receptionist got the date of our ferry booking wrong. The booking was related to the roof top pool being closed (mid summer) so they ran a ferry to the beach as compensation. Fine if the date was right. The lobby WC was a mess in the morning when we were checking out. Bed linen seemed to have high man-made fibre % Fine if that's your thing.
