Très rare que les hôtels 5 étoiles les méritent vraiment. Celui-ci en fait partie… magnifique boutique hôtel avec un personnel à l’attention parfaite. Vue magnifique, suspendus en dehors du temps. Vaut largement le prix payé. Pour le reste: idéalement situé, à une minute de marche de la zone piétonne, mais sans nuisance sonore. Un parking pratique. Des options de restauration partout à distance de marche, le bar de l’hôtel à des cocktails tout à fait recommandables. Petit déjeuner parfait. Bref une franche réussite.

An absolute gem! 5 stars all around. From the moment I walked in the staff was beyond accommodating, the room was a dream with the most incredible view of the beach, the food was delightful, the restaurant staff was so kind and helpful, the facilities were simply perfect! This is a gem perfectly located in the middle of Cais Cais. Enjoy it!

We loved our three night stay here. Easy parking, lovely sea-view room, great breakfast and good restaurant/ bar facilities. The pool on the terrace was warm enough to swim on a sunny day in late March. Staff were great, and most things were walkable.

We stayed for two nights during high season in July with my husband and two kids. The room was booked a few months out so price was average for the season, but felt high considering the room quality. The bathroom was clean but fixtures / tiles a bit outdated (and the shower was VERY tight, even by European standard), and there were stains on the carpet and baby crib that were provided. However - the staff was amazing, so communicative and helpful - and the views from the restaurant / pool are fantastic. Would stay again if the price was a bit lower, maybe in off season, but would consider this a 4 star hotel, not 5.

Nice location but property was dated. Halls were very dark. Room was stufffy and hot without proper air conditioning. Bathroom was simply awful with crumbling tiles and brown mold on tiles and grout in shower/bath area. A couple of silverfish bugs claimed the bathroom as home. Balcony was lovely, as was the pool area but, again needed a substantial fix up. Manager was vaguely sympathetic but not helpful. We would not recommend this hotel if our room was typical of others.

We loved our stay here. The location is excellent, beautiful views, on the beach and close to the town. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, the rooms were spotless and very comfortable, excellent buffet breakfast & great restaurant on-site. The entire staff were welcoming and helpful and their warmth and friendliness made our stay so enjoyable.

great location right on the beach, with a fantastic view of the sea. Cascais is within walking distance. Very comfortable bed. The entire hotel very clean and extremely friendly staff. Train station nearby, so Lisbon is also perfectly accessible without a car. The breakfast buffet is good, but I would have liked more variety and choice.

Great location overlooking a bay with boats and the beach. Very clean, great staff. Our room did not have a view which was dissapointing but large and comfortable. Surrounding area is full of tourist shopping and a very good Indian food restaurant. We enjoyed our two nights stay.

When arrive for check in, I approached a gentleman and a lady behind the front desk, but neither turned their head towards me, or greeted me or said a simple "welcome", I had to initiated the conversation with "check in please". During check in process, another two younger staff standing at the other end of the front desk kept chatting (I dont understand Portugese so didnt get the exact content), and the two in front of me showed a discontent gesture. No matter what's going on here, none of the receptionists paid respectful attention to the guest. During my road trip across Portugal I stayed at multiple 5-star hotels (Vinha in Porto, Marriott at Praia D'EI Rey, 138 Liberdade in Lisbon) which all gave me warm welcome upon arrival with smiles. But this one treated me like a tourist trying to borrow toilet. During late night and morning times front desk was understaffed with only one person on duty, had to wait at check out. The room was pretty tight, even significantly smaller than my hotel in central Lisbon. Big regret to stay here.

The Albatroz Hotel is amazing! The rooms are exquisite and the views are breathtaking! But what makes this hotel special is their impeccable staff. The check-in staff is most welcoming and eager to help make your trip special. Vitor the bartender is also exceptional. The property is immaculate and right on the beach. Shopping, restaurants, and most stores are within walking distance. The entire area is beautiful. We were able to park our car onsite and walk for the remainder of our trip. The breakfast was also amazing and nice to be included. We would highly recommend this special hotel.

The Albertroz is a very special hotel, not only is it in a beautiful location but the staff are without exception focused on the customer experience. The room was beautiful with excellent amenities and a gorgeous view. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the hotel went above and beyond to make our day special. From Maria & the reception team, Paulinho & Claudaire who looked after us in the restaurant and the rest of the staff, we cannot thank you enough for a wonderful stay.

The staff here was very accommodating. Prompt check-in and helpful in all instances. The hotel is in a great location and is a beautiful setting on the water, within walking distance to all of Cascais Center. The breakfast was delicious with everything everyone would want. The morning staff made sure you were taken care of. Our room was outdated, but it's an old hotel, so to be expected. Overall, a great experience at this resort!

The Albatroz was such a beautiful hotel in a super location. We have just spent 6 nights there and couldn’t have asked for more. The service was fantastic and the staff went above and beyond to help make our stay special and memorable. We were sad to leave this morning and truly hope we can go back and stay again sometime!

because we hadden 2 rooms. 1 of the rooms the AC worked splendidly well but the other room had an error code blinking. We reported it 3 times. They told my husband it was just needing a new filter. The steak was fabulous at restaurant. Very nice breakfast too. Central location in Cascais. Noisy if you need to leave door open at night but quiet if you do not .

The location, staff, and amenities of the Hotel Albatroz made our six-day stay in Portugal all the more pleasurable. Cascais is a wonderful seaside resort, once summer home to a wealthy international clientele and exiled nobility. The core of the Albatroz occupies a grand old mansion on the beach with spectacular ocean views, elegant and comfortable appointments. There is a fine restaurant and cozy bar with wonderful vistas. The staff are friendly, solicitous, and helpful. Access to the Lisbon area train network is a short walk and there are countless shops, eateries, and interesting local sites within easy walking distance. We would gladly stay at this fine hotel again!

Second visit to this hotel. Hotel faultless..position amazing..4 mins walk to Station for train to Lisbon 15 minute walk to the furthest of 50 plus restaurants. All are great! Cannot recommend highly enough Hotel virtually on the beach. Great virtually flat walking in both directions beside the sea with many places to drink and eat.

An amazing hotel in a fabulous location. Nothing but praise for the staff. We were celebrating a big birthday and the hotel went above and beyond to make the stay a special one. Arriving to port in our rooms was a treat! The breakfasts were great and the dining experience was fantastic. Alex on the bar was fascinating and made excellent suggestions for drinks. We we definitely return!

Such a beautiful property in a beautiful location! The dining managers were a bit over the top about having reservations as we watched day after day while tables sat empty. It would be much more pleasant to be welcomed warmly as a hotel guest plus once people see others seated they are more likely to want to check out the place. We had excellent service and excellent meals!

Our stay was superb from our check-in to the service around the hotel. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. You could order other items if you didn’t like the buffet. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was absolutely fantastic.
