Parking was a disaster. They told us to park in the hotel but failed to say we had to back up our car down the steep parking garage entrance that was extremely narrow. Scratched the side of the rental car. Do not take a vehicle if staying at this hotel. They said everyone scratches their car when staying there. Bad start to the vacation. They should consider putting up a sign or offering to park the car for you. At the very least, warn people at check in.

Great little hotel near all the action that was able to accommodate my family of 4. We were able to walk right to the main, touristy area of town and the beach. There are lots of good restaurants and little shops nearby. The staff was very helpful and there is parking inside a small parking garage, for an additional fee. We were only supposed to stay for one night, but my family loved it so much there, we extended to four.

Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, great location. But the room had not been fully cleaned - old towels were left in a heap, debris on the bedside tables, sand in the shower, used soap in the bathroom. I only noticed the problem late so decided to stay in the room so long as they gave me a clean bathroom the next day. They offered me the use of a bathroom in another room the next morning - when I went there there was someone in the room! So perhaps not a bad place but extremely disorganised.

In den ersten beiden Tagen habe ich ständig etwas Neues gefunden, das schmutzig war: Das Bad, die Handtücher, die Überdecke auf dem Bett. Nach meiner Beschwerde wurde alles geputzt oder gewechselt. Vom Standort her lag das Hotel günstig mitten in Cascais und ca. 200-300 Meter vom Strand entfernt. Leider war es nachts sehr laut. In den umliegenden Bars und Restaurants wurde zum Teil bis nachts um 3 Uhr gefeiert. Danach haben die Restaurantbesitzer aufgeräumt und ihren Müll (auch Gläser) lautstark auf dem Platz vor dem Hotel entsorgt. Der Müll wurde täglich früh morgens gegen 5 Uhr von unterschiedlichen (lautstarken) Müllautos abgeholt. Wer nachts mit lauten Geräuschen schlafen kann, dem wird die Hotelsituation nichts ausmachen. Für Geschäftsreisende, die nach Ruhe suchen, ist es eher ungünstig. Den Preis von 225€ pro Zimmer (der im Hotel angegeben wurde) ist nicht gerechtfertigt.

Ho soggiornato due volte all’ Hotel Cascais ,all’ inizio della vacanza per due notti e alla fine per tre notti. Nel mezzo c’è stato un bel giro in Spagna. Arrivati in hotel abbiamo alloggiato al primo piano,camera spaziosa , luminosa e pulita . Buona accoglienza ed essendo il compleanno di mia moglie, abbiamo trovato in camera due righe di benvenuto ed auguri e un gradito omaggio . Al ritorno,ultime tre notti, camera al terzo piano. Praticamente ci hanno messo in “piccionaia”, Era quasi mezzanotte, ritorno da Madrid a Cascais 6 ore e 30 minuti, non ho fatto questioni. Quando scendo a colazione, la mattina, vedo che ci sono quattro tavoli preparati oltre al nostro…. Praticamente hotel vuoto. Comunque, camera poco pulita, mancanza di arredi ( luce di cortesia e comodino - night-table) solo da un lato, mancanza di tenda, all’alba entrava troppa luce . Situazione comunque datata e da rinnovare assolutamente. Naturalmente ho chiesto di cambiare camera e non ci so stati problemi. Secondo piano, tutto a posto. Comunque ci sono rimasto male.Hanno fatto una pessima figura.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Room is clean, spacious and recently given a cosmetic refresh. I.e. new carpeting, painted, new cabinetry. Bed is very comfortable. The bathroom could use a bit of an update, particularly the plumbing. Shower water pressure is a bit weak, and tends to jump from cold to hot easily. Breakfast is sufficient, it has enough variety that can be expected for a small hotel. Well located centrally, close to many restaurants, walking distance from train station and to Ribeira beach and walking promenade. Noise from nearby night club is a bit bothersome, it operates from 11 pm to 6 am, so street noise is to be expected. I’ve stayed here several times and would stay again.

The location and service were great. The room is very basic, lacking a lot of the amenities you usually see in hotels (e.g., fridge, alarm clock, safe, coat hanger on all, cups and water). Worn building but kept clean. Unfortunately the sound proofing is non existent. If there are noisy neighbours or sound outside, you'll hear all of it.

The Cascais Hotel is pretty close to centre of town but not bang on so convenient but not super busy. Wasn't real easy to find as the signage is pretty subtle. General condition of the foyer and connecting areas is good Room clean and tidy. Front desk Staffed 24 hours and they were always helpful. Included breakfast basic but acceptable. Downsides - room looked well worn particularly the woodwork, Door badly scraping the floor and wooden floor looked very worn out. Shower just about ok but poor flow and temperature control. No drink facilities in the room - not even an empty glass let alone a kettle. A bit noisy at night if your room faces the street. Felt well run but with no money left over for maintenance.

Tivemos problema na entrada com um quarto não arrumado mas logo trocaram por outro. A cama era maravilhosa assim como otimas toalhas. Fiquei num quarto com o box menor o que pra mim que sou alto era um pouco ruim. Se vc for gordinho talvez terá um pouco de falta de espaço. Mas há quartos com banheiras.

I stayed for four nights at hotel Cascais. It was truly up and down. First two nights were some of the worst as I was assigned a room on the bottom floor. Loud base from the neighboring nightclubs were going from 23 to 05ish. Additionally, my room did not have wifi coverage so I had to use the resurant wifi nearby, which was bad. There were no outlets that you could reach from the bed. After two nights I asked, and was granted to switch rooms. On the third floor I did not hear the disco music. However, all throughout the hotel the doors have a gap which means you hear EVERYTHING. People are slamming the doors, talking, and not showing concern for others. Which means in any case you will not have a quiet stay. Also, at breakfast it can be quite crowded. The main positives are it's central location and the fact that the room was clean and beds comfortable. I would recommend staying further away from the clubs though!

Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, great location. But the room had not been fully cleaned - old towels were left in a heap, debris on the bedside tables, sand in the shower, used soap in the bathroom. I only noticed the problem late so decided to stay in the room so long as they gave me a clean bathroom the next day. They offered me the use of a bathroom in another room the next morning - when I went there there was someone in the room! So perhaps not a bad place but extremely disorganised.

A serviceable spot close to a cluster of great bars and restaurants. Quick walk to Ribeira Beach. Decent breakfast buffet with enough options for just about anyone. Self-serve hot chocolate was tasty. No amenities beyond hand soap and shower gel. Powerful hair dryer is one of the absurd kind bolted to the wall with a very short cord and a button you have to hold down to make it run. During a 3-night stay, my towels were not changed, per stated policy. Bring a cup, because there are none in the room. Pleasant, helpful staff.

My Check in was ok until the woman at the desk asked me to pay the city tax - I just get angry when a person lies and try to tell conspiration stories to justify. i would love to pay but here they demand in cash and i don't go with cash anymore and to pay 2 eur it will cost me 5 eur for the transaction and all over Portugal and Europe I can pay by card I was told by the woman that many people do not feel by the government etc know where they are and why they prefer to pay cash lots og BS - I JUST PAID my room with credit card. Great little hotel near all the action that was able to accommodate my family of 4. We were able to walk right to the main, touristy area of town and the beach. There are lots of good restaurants and little shops nearby. The staff was very helpful and there is parking inside a small parking garage, for an additional fee. We were only supposed to stay for one night, but my family loved it so much there, we extended to four.

I stayed for four nights at hotel Cascais. It was truly up and down. First two nights were some of the worst as I was assigned a room on the bottom floor. Loud base from the neighboring nightclubs were going from 23 to 05ish. Additionally, my room did not have wifi coverage so I had to use the resurant wifi nearby, which was bad. There were no outlets that you could reach from the bed. After two nights I asked, and was granted to switch rooms. On the third floor I did not hear the disco music. However, all throughout the hotel the doors have a gap which means you hear EVERYTHING. People are slamming the doors, talking, and not showing concern for others. Which means in any case you will not have a quiet stay. Also, at breakfast it can be quite crowded. The main positives are it's central location and the fact that the room was clean and beds comfortable. I would recommend staying further away from the clubs though!

Okay hotel. Found silverfish on the bathroom. Otherwise clean. Very small shower, but it does the job. The door and walls must be made of paper, the sound is going straight through from the hallway and the neighboring rooms. Nice bed. Breakfast was nothing special, just bread, some eggs, cereal and fresh fruits, coffee, juice etc. Reception open 24h. Parking was not available at site due to me not booking in advance, but was able to park at the railway station 7 minutes away (20 euros for a night there as well). Pleasant staff.
